The run without Lukaku was the easy run, when we started playing Norwich, Newcastle, Burnley, Malmö, Zenit and co. He got injured at the wrong time when you have a run of juicy games to give a striker confidence
Before the run how many did he score, a paltry 3 against struggling Villa and Arsenal in the league.

To build a successful team over a long period of time you need the following to align; concept, competence and capital (apologies to Ralf Rangnick) without any of them you will achieve success here and there look at the most successful coaches in club football they're well backed by their owners and get privileged treatments from the authorities. Take a look at Milan in their prime they have Berlusconi, Juventus is runned by the Agnelli family, Inter had Massimo Moratti, Bayern Munich are another even ManUtd.

So Pulisic is better at finishing chances or they are about the same. Is that your point?
The sample size is too small in the case of Pulisic for genuine comparison using stats but based on eye test he is on par or a better finisher.

So was he more probable to miss it than score it?
According to EPL records Pulisic in 63 appearances has missed 17 big chances and Lukaku in 265 appearances has missed 88 big chances.

Would Lukaku have missed the chance Pulisic missed?
Probably yes, it isn't a given that he will score the chance Pulisic missed.

Chelsea have scored more goals without Lukaku in fewer games (29 in 13 as opposed to 23 in 18 with him) and registered a better expected goals figure (29.95 vs. 22.32). Source: ESPN slightly paraphrased by me.

Bluemann and Unlimited22 do check this guy out Julian Alvarez of River Plate when you have time he's been linked to United. According to FBref he's similar to Benzema, Kane, Lewandowski and Vlahovic in playing style.

Havertz10:
havertz lost the ball only 6 times, mount lost it 17 times

Havertz lost the ball fewer times than anybody on the pitch, see why I suspect that most of you use demeanor to judge him instead of actually following the game
He lost about half or more of those in dangerous areas of the pitch one of such led to a goal.

Raumdeuter, what do you think of Akpoguma?

Do Super Eagles have a better centre-back, and why was he overlooked?
He is better than all of our CBs and arguably better than the ones paraded by German bar Ginter and Rudiger. The reason he was dropped is purely political not on ability reason.

Some of the dubious calls we explained away with incompetence may be match fixing, I can wrap my head around the reason for the gross ineptitude displayed by EPL refs week in week out, season by season and there seems not to be an end in sight.

Leave that one alone because he has shown his lack of football knowledge repeatedly in this thread and even his attempts to troll falls flat on his face, so you shouldn't take his takes on football or any knowledge based discussion serious.

We should target Schick and move away from Lukaku if truly he isn't happy because it's pointless keeping an unhappy player at a club and in Schick you have a technical striker who can score goals.

Instead of the guy to focus on playing football quietly and deliver the goods he is out in the public tongue-lashing his coach and letting his teammates down. I hate players who talk too much they tend to overrate themselves and unbalance team harmony. This is someone who hardly press when the team is pressing and he chokes when things get heated yet he thinks he's on the level of CR7, Messi, Salah and Lewandowski.

Exactly. And this is important information that should be seriously engaged. But you get people like Uncle Popiziano who go be like sell these 9 players and we will be fine.

Sell them and do what?

The guys are never about how can we improve what we have? It's always about sell this, sack that....once things go a little sideways.
The market is depressed due to the pandemic reducing the match day receipts of clubs and merchandise sales, so it will be difficult to find good buyers for unwanted players and also find money for upgrades. The best we can do is to get some players from the academy, recall loan players that are good and loan the unwanted ones to clubs who wants them with an obligation to buy.
We should win at least 2 trophies in Carabao Cup and FA Cup then have a deep run in UCL plus qualifying for top 4.

I watched the first-half of the game and saw how we were making poor decisions upfront and losing possession in the middle it seems to me that average players constitute the bulk of the team. I will take Bissouma and Raphinha, Kurzawa, and switch Odoi to WB/RB since he's decided to be useless in attack.

Captain JT has returned, and he'll be taking on a coaching consultancy role with the academy, working with players and coaching staff in the club's youth development programme in a part time capacity.

I personally think he will be a better coach than Lampard when given the opportunity.

SeanOkafor is/was a scammer so he will do all he can to defend his craft just like those benefitting from an unfair advantage will do all he can to justify such.
Whataboutism is what these cybercrime sympathisers are good at they would tell you that other people's sins are heavier than theirs in scale which if you are to critically examine their claims will fall short, saying because politicians and traders are defrauding people doesn't mean someone should engage in cybercrime or justify it else kidnappers and bandits will justify their evil(which they are already doing). At the end of it all we will all suffer from our misdeeds

Majority of the guys into Yahoo are criminals through and through they are not victims of circumstances or doing payback as some are trying to portray them to be. I know one of such who is using music as a cover for heinous crimes. The boy in 2007 stole goat with a cousin of mine and they were both caught and brought to their knees in our house he was punished along with my cousin, after a while the boy left town for Lagos and the next I heard of him was that he's now a singer and balling I was sceptical about his new found riches. My scepticism was confirmed when an acquaintance of mine traveled to meet him and returned after months saying that he couldn't cope with the boy and his associates lifestyle as they're into rituals and cybercrime whilst using music as cover-up.
During my service year I eavesdropped on a conversation between two Yahoo boys and they're from middle-class family by Naija standard so money wasn't their problem they just want to leave larger than their income.

Popizainos problem. Playing long balls or through balls is not part of my expectations for a DM, it's just a bonus
Okay. Another thing the image revealed is that our attackers struggled due to lack of through balls as none of our players are in the top 10 for through balls compare to Pool and City. Tuchel should train the players to play risky passes especially our CMs, on several occasions I have watched our players moved into good positions only for them not to receive through balls.
