As a coach the best thing to do is to play to your players strength and the French side are physical and athletic so you don't expect the coach to play a possession based style when the players at his disposal aren't suitable for such. Back to the main point of discussion nobody who watches football and understand the game will say Mbappe influence throughout the tournament wasn't dominant he tortured defenders with his quick feet and dribbling scoring crucial goals along the way to and in the final if my memory serves me right. World Cup is more competitive because players are playing for honour and pride and this increases the level of competition and talents are evenly spread this is why you have favourable scoreline in most of the games bar the odd blowing away of teams by Germany and co unlike UCL where talents are concentrated among elite teams.

Ole is a good coach his problem I think is experimentation when continuity is required and burning players when rotation should have been the best option.
