A001 I'm not sure you listened to the entire speech he mentioned several salient issues like concentration of power among few countries in UNSC, the issue of racism, tackling the illicit flow of money, light and small arms movement and climate change. You just run away with the screaming headline which isn't actually a bad request because debt relief is needed especially as the pandemic has hit hard on the economy of many countries. |
Trevor012:Go joor |
Trevor012:Bitter to swallow like the one Bruno served Ole. |
"I’ve not seen a Chelsea side under Thomas Tuchel look as disjointed as they did today. I felt the link was missing, Mason Mount, he was animated and trying to drive his players. “Chelsea will be there or thereabouts challenging because of that man [Tuchel].” - Joe Cole |
“Normally what we are strong in, today we didn’t show. We’ve played against them before and we played out from the back and it was not a problem like today. Today I think it was more on us, we have to play more ourselves. Obviously they played good, but we were not at our best. “Today is the first time that the opponent was physically better than us. They ran more than us, they made it very difficult for us. But from ourselves, it was very disappointing. “We have to admit we had a very bad day in the office. We didn’t perform on our usual level and that’s why we were punished and this is what we have to take for the next games, to give more intensity, because to be honest in every aspect they were better than us. “Today we didn’t show our personality that we usually show. Obviously this can happen, but in a game like this it shouldn’t happen.” Antonio Rüdiger |
donjazet:Your remarks seem complimentary but it's actually an insult to my person. The greatest height of enlightenment for a person is recognising that the universe and all that it contains was created by a Supreme Being and that Being is deserving of our worship without associating partners with him in that. Common sense dictates that without even looking at a religious book. To your question of how a person can be well read and still be religious even though I don't consider myself as enlightened or well read the two aren't mutually exclusive, most of the people I look up to are religious people and astute intellectually. The foremost Quranic exegete Ibn Jarir at-Tabari is a scholar of great repute and a Mathematician, Shaykh Rabee bin Hadi al-Madkhali a retired Professor at University of Madeenah and he knows more about Socialists and Marxists than most of our Political Science academics, Gregor Mendel was a theologian and a scientist. I could go on and on but I won't. Also, my relationship with people is not based on ethnicity but on the principle of fairness and justice in accordance with Islamic dictates. |
Our problem lies in lack of creativity from our midfielders unless we address this problem we should kiss our chance of winning the league goodbye because Lukaku though he can create but he's service dependent. I wouldn't blame the coach much but the players who looked timid and disjointed with and without the ball. The only positive is RLC |
Chelsea’s next five Premier League games - Southampton (H) Brentford (A) Norwich (H) Newcastle (A) Burnley (H) |
Tjay and DonJ we will revisit the discussion for now let's watch our game with relaxed mind |
BlueMann:We need to stretch City and counter their offensive threat when they break free Werner and Christensen will do just fine in attack and defence. With Kovacic form and Kante return to fitness you can't drop either of them so Havertz has to make way since we will be sitting deep and looking to exploit the gaps in city's midfield. |
"What I liked about him in that position [6] is that he is very, very safe on the ball. He has the body to protect the back three. He has the body to use to fight off players to be physical." - Tuchel on Loftus-Cheek |
Trevor012:It will end in tears just like how Ole was hammered out of Carabao by a club in East London. Kai Havertz and Lukaku to destroy Dias and Stones |
Havertz10 when you write a textbook on political economy do reserve a copy for me. I will advise you to pay close attention to Prof Yanis Varoufakis, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, Marianna Mazucatto and Karl Polanyi works. |

• Tuchel says Pulisic is still out and that Mason Mount got a minor injury vs Villa. They will be out vs Man City with everyone else back, including Mendy. • Tuchel on his three wins in a row record vs Man City and Pep Guardiola: "They all felt like 50/50 matches. I expect a 50/50 match tomorrow. We will fight hard for a good outcome." • Thomas Tuchel on being a better coach than Pep Guardiola: "This question doesn't exist, so I cannot answer. These are for you guys. I have the highest respect for Pep because I'm a huge admirer of his impact from his first day of coaching." • Thomas Tuchel: "I am grateful to have the support from the club to push this club to the limit." • Thomas Tuchel on Romelu Lukaku's recent comments about tackling abuse: "I am happy for every discussion that leads to the right direction because they can only be positive output, and speaking will always be the start for something positive." • Tuchel on Mount's injury: Mount described as disappointed, he played through the injury and took a penalty so it was a surprise. He will almost certainly be back to face Juventus. • Thomas Tuchel on psychological edge over Man City: "We have the positive experiences, we know how tough it feels, how much work and input is needed. When I tell you 50-50, I mean 50-50." • Thomas Tuchel: "You have to work hard and earn it. Believing you can do it is the most important in sports. At this level, we have the believe we can do it. We know what it takes to have the possibility to win. It doesn't take a miracle to beat Man City, but we be at best." • Thomas Tuchel on handing blow to title rival vs Man City: "Before we talk about the result, we need to focus on input and delivery. We need to accept the momentum and luck that's needed. These kind of things decide, then we can judge the result." • Thomas Tuchel: "Let's be honest, if we win tomorrow we will not be champions, or in depression [if Man City win]. We feel ready to beat them once again." • Thomas Tuchel on Man City: "We always try to focus on us but there are a lot of behaviours that you need to be aware of. They play a very different lineup in the league, caused a lot of problems for us. We never know, they have a lot in their pocket. Top team, top manager." "Every lineup, they put huge intensity on you. They have patterns in defending and attacking that you have to be aware. We have to play with confidence, and accept difficulties, pain and fatigue. Then you need to take advantage to escape pressure." "You need to very aware of space as they only open up for a blink of a second. Do we need a miracle to compete? No, but we need our best performance." • Thomas Tuchel on six-pointer: "Well it is, between two teams who are rivals for top four and the best outcome. But it's too early to be a decision tomorrow. Any team can steal three points." "It's going to be a marathon, not a sprint, the race is not over no matter the result [tomorrow]." "It's so early, we don't need extra motivation/edge to be six points clear. We need to be at our best, best level anyway no matter if we are one point clear/behind. This is what we did in the last three matches against Man City. We need our top level." • Thomas Tuchel: "Points don't matter. Tomorrow is on, and we have to be fully on. • Thomas Tuchel on Thiago Silva: "It's on him [to decide future]. I cannot answer this right now. Hopefully he can continue to perform at this level. That's all he needs to stay here [at Chelsea]. You need top performances here, that's what's needed." "We have time. We don't need to answer it now." |
"It was a difficult story in the end because we had too many centre-halves and I really wanted to help him but I’m not sure he really understood that. "It is hard when you are at the top level because it is so cut throat." - Frank Lampard on Fikayo Tomori |
Karim Benzema’s Real Madrid stats since Cristiano Ronaldo left: 154 games 95 goals 38 assists |
"With Kepa, he shows the right mentality. Every day he comes into training with a smile on his face, he’s always helping the boys by putting everything into training and even on the bench he’s screaming encouragement to the pitch and supporting us all." - Trevoh Chalobah |
“I decided to leave Chelsea as I had no space. “Roberto Mancini told me: you need to play, you’ve to be a starter. OL proposed an interesting project and I accepted in two or three days. I’m really happy with my choice.” - Emerson Palmieri |
BlueMann:Popi should go and sin no more he's seen the light. |
airmark:You don't sell a defender in his prime especially when he's a crucial member of the back line. Finding a replacement will be hard just like when Fergie sold Stam he couldn't replace him for a while. |
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema scored his 200th LaLiga goal last night, becoming the 10th player to reach that milestone in the competition’s history. Sir Mark, Big Benz is saying hi. |
MorataFC:Mine is to present data what you make of it is your own business. |
Kepa Arrizabalaga under Thomas Tuchel - 10 games 6 clean sheets 2 penalty shootout wins 0 errors leading to goals Copied |
BlueMann:Another weapon in our arsenal( I'm not referring to the North London club). |
Ruben Loftus-Cheek shunned a chance to go out on loan this summer, opting to stay at Chelsea. He wants his spot back in the starting XI. - @NizaarKinsella |
“We brought him into a situation where he can score, this is what we want, and then it’s on him to score. That’s why he is here. It’s the best feeling for a striker to score." - Tuchel on Timo Werner |
Abū Hāzim, Salamah bin Deenār [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him] was asked: “O’ Abā Hāzim, do you not see how prices have risen?” He replied, ‘What does that bother you? Verily, He [Allāh] who provides for us during deflation is the one who will provide for us during inflation.’” Hilyat ul-Awliyā’a, 3/239 | Abū Nuaym al-Asfahāni [may Allāh bestow mercy upon him] Translation: Authentic Quotes |
I would like to see RLC and Havertz play together as two 10s in a 3-4-2-1 formation. |
