sod09:These are valid excuses, you should be old enough to remember how injuries nearly wrecked the career of RVP and the only time he was fit for you guys over a season and a half he scored goals that prompted his move to Yoonited so don't dismiss what injuries can do during the course of games. |
sod09:Injuries did the damage not any Masterclass from Arteta, Chelsea was already in poor state before they met. The last time I checked he is still above the Spanish Sean Dyche (this is even an insult to the man Dyche). |
sod09:Willian Borges. The reason is that Southampton dumped Arteta out of FA Cup while Lampard is still in. |
The last youth team product to score a hattrick for @ChelseaFC in the FA Cup was Peter Osgood back in 1970. The Blues went on to win the cup that year. Source: ChelseaChadder |
Willian has produced just two shots on target in his 20 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season. Sod09 is this true? |

NextD18:Football isn't about offensive metrics alone there's more to football than goals and assists and Meir isn't an attacking midfielder like Mata, in his position he wasn't a liability for us and he's fondly remembered despite spending a single season with us |
I said it the other day na stats spoil football. Even a child will know that despite his brilliance Mats was the weak link in Chelsea system back then, he gets dispossessed easily due to his frailty. Lampard in his prime was competing with Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Henry, Shevchenko, Nistelrooy for top honours. In our UCL run to victory Lampard was doing the hard work alongside Mikel, Ramires and the mad man from Portugal while still providing goals and assists including scoring in the final shootout. |
eph12:Klopp teams usually decline in a manner unexpected them. Guardiola's influence is evident in Spain and Germany's world cup wins. Where Klopp edge it is his friendly relationship with players as for technical and tactical improvements Pep edges him. I have read books detailing their careers so far and I have watch them at their peak (Pep's peak was at Barcelona and Klopp's peak was at Dortmund forget the UCL and EPL) so my decision is based on that |

Loftus-Cheek on the most influential manager he has worked under: "Sarri for sure. He was truthful with me. He told me if I want to play, I have to do this. I started to do what he asked - and I played. That gave me confidence." Source: Paul Brown |

Frank Lampard is proving to the world that having money and signing expensive players isn't everything in football. Copied |
It is like we are going for Tuchel as it stands right now. I will take him he's a brilliant coach like Conte brilliant but confrontational. |
It’s funny how Chelsea & Juve both thought they would progress by getting rid of Sarri but both have regressed. Interesting. Copied |
Ibime:The guy needs to be a bit aggressive and expressive like David Silva or else he will be shunted by less talented players who put in the extra work. Football is now mechanistic with all required to put in a shift or the system will break down. I personally don't like players strolling around except you're producing moments of magic consistently then I will spare you but on this Havertz case I will give him 2years |
Creatrixity:No mind them. If you want to damage a fool give him information. NNT. It does a fool no good to have education because he lacks common sense. Book of Proverbs |

James Maddison said Chelsea players do switch off during cornerkicks so they exploited that weakness yesterday, he also mentioned that out of possession they play a compact 4-4-2 and in possession they play a 4-3-3 and that they have no passengers in the team. This shows that tactically we are not doing the right team and mentally we seem not prepared enough. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z17RCZfYQLo |
donjazet:Like I said the other day I prefer a known foe to a hypocrite who acts as though he/she is on my side but backstab me from behind. His policy is a continuation of longstanding American policy the only difference is that he's not intelligent enough to behave cunningly like others before him. Trump doesn't represent conservatism he's only pandering to the whims and desires of people traumatized by insanity and ignorance and it happens that America have them in large number across political divides whether it be left, right, alt-left, alt-right and center. A conservative doesn't go about grabbing p*****, evading taxes, telling lies and discarding science in face of overwhelming evidences. |
hoopLA:We are professional colleagues aren't we? |
nihilistjnr:He didn't play and even when he does his performances have been shocking of late, he is being targeted by opponents. |
hoopLA:Go and sleep |
Said it the other time that we should tamper our expectations so as to avoid serious disappointment over the course of the season but a lot of you went ahead of yourselves with wild prediction and over the top expectation like capital speculators hedging on mutual funds, now when reality sets in you all are disappointed, cursing and gnashing your teeth like carnivorous beasts. Lampard twice this season has rushed to play Reece James ahead of Azpillicueta who is fitter and each time it ended in resounding defeats costing us 6pts, also it appears that Kante is past it and should be replaced, his recurring injury is a thing of concern. Tactically Lampard has a lot to learn else he will end up like Thierry Henry who is brilliant but can't find the right way to get his team playing when things didn't go his way I won't mind Tuchel at all but if the board choose to stick with Lampard then I'm onboard with their decision whichever it is. |

Lampard on Mason Mount: “The critics are wrong. Anyone who knows or understands football and watches Mason play football knows what an incredible talent he is. He’s just turned 22. Imagine when he’s 25. Imagine when he’s 27.” |
BlueMann:Haaland is a good addition to our striking force but it will create another issue which is squad imbalance, how will he fit in without clogging the space? He likes arriving at the box via the inside-right channel and this is where Ziyech and Havertz do occupy, and how do we pair him with Abraham and Werner? |
