Nigeria economy is built on faulty foundation which explains its volatile and fragile nature, I do ask this question how many banks grant loans to SME businesses and what other investments do the banks have except government lodged funds. This is not a thing of APC or PDP or because those parties are composed of politicians who have one agenda in mind to have their own share of the national cake and distribute it their people.
Until we realised that ours is a nation struggling for survival due to fraudulent ways of handling important issues.
God bless Nigeria and Nigerians.

TheGoodJoe: Tell us the sense in why Saudi Arabia, UAE and Russia who depend on Crude Revenue developed well why Nigeria who depend on Crude did not develop. Crude is a factor in all regions but did not affect their development.
El-Rufai said a sensible thrash. For the countries that developed using their oil wealth one factor is key political stability and continuity. Even at that they realized that oil is not sustainable and it causes laziness, so right now they're planning to wean themselves off the dependence on oil revenue. Dubai is using tourism and other service based sectors while Russia is using military and technology exportation. Saudi Arabia recently launched vision 2030 which is been spearheaded by the Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman also known as MBS |

No wonder Nairaland is rated as a forum with users with least IQ, El-Rufai made a sensible comment instead of some people to critically look at it from the prism of objectivity they didn't but hurl abusive words at him and the people he represents.
With this mindset we still have a longway to go in this part of the world. |

Farmers are raking millions of naira off the sales of their farm produce but defenders of lootocracy are worried that they chose to use part of the whole sum to perform one of the pillars of their religion.
Lazy bums will not make use of the opportunity available to them but they'd heaped blame on others for their high-level stupidity. |

attackgat: Biafra is not an Igbo word because Biafra is not just about Igbos.
When Ojukwu was about to declare the independence of the old Eastern Region, he called for suggestions as to what to call the new country. A certain Ijaw man called Frank Opigo told Ojukwu that 600 years ago, an ancient Kingdom called Biafra existed which covered most of what is now called SE/SS as well the Southern Cameroons. This ancient kingdom stopped at the Bini empire.
So Ojukwu chose the name "Biafra" for its historical value
The map of ancient Biafra is below Any other evidence to corroborate this? |

SpecialAdviser: While this comment is to offer a personal opinion on crime in Nigeria, It does not in any way meant to insult any tribe. Afonjaphobians and flatinophobians should get off my quote
Crime is not perculiar to any tribe in Nigeria. You find practically every tribe in every crime. suffice is to say that some crimes are predominant to some tribes and below is my understanding of crimes committed in Nigeria especially with respect to Nigerias three major tribes;
1) Igbos---Majorly Drug business 2)Yorubas---Majorly Ritual killing 2)Hausas----Majorly Religious violence
I hate all crimes, pray and wish that i will never partake in any but truth is that if ever I should find myself partaking in any crime, I will chose the Igbo version for reasons below;
1)drug business is a hit or miss buz. If you succeed in one stroke, you make a lot of money. Its embaracing to find that some people cut someones head, go and sell it N10,000. So, A drug dealer can make money that can be equivalent to 2000 human heads just for one trip without necesarily taking any life.
2)Drugs are sold to those who demand for them. There are many banned drugs in Nigeria, but pharmacists still produce them for human consumption. For me, a drug dealer selling to those who demand them is far more upright than so many of our local medicine dealers selling fake drugs to unsuspectig Nigerians.
3) You may not kill human being selling drugs. Do you compare that to Boko haram on suicidal mission or a ritualist decapitating human heads?
4) You are selling drugs to the whites. These are the same whites who have been stealing your resources from the day of Adam. They have caused a lot of brain drain in Nigeria as well.
5) If caught you die going through a rigorous judicial process. You may be padoned at the end or shot painless to die. Now compare it to crimes that can cause people to die through jungle justice.
It is not out of place to say that drug business can only be run by the Igbos since this is a crime that involves a high level business ability. A particular trait perculiar to the Igbos.
DISCLAIMER: This comment is not meant to commend drug business but to compare with other predominant crimes in other tribes. Be warned that all crimes are sins and are liable to hell fire. When you want to partake in that crime, be informed that even if you escape human law and justice, God's justice cannot be escaped. You can be rich doing a legal business. Crime kills intelligence and is a display of failure. You may be bridging your opportuity doing crime for money. Money can come at any time and God's time remains the best. SAY NO TO ANY CRIME. No crime should be given a consideration like you just did, drugs kill and drug wars arise from cartels competing for market shares. El Salvador, Mexico, Colombia, Honduras etc are hotbed of drugwars and you daresay drugs don't kill. Shove your disclaimer up your a## and bury your head in shame because you're a potential drug dealer |

Al-Hasan al-Basree (d.110) said, "Verily, al-Hajjaaj is the punishment of Allaah. So do not repel the punishment of Allaah with your own hands. But you must submit and show humility, for Allaah the Most High stated, "And indeed We seized them with punishment, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they invoke (Allaah) with submission to him."
