Islam › The Ruling On Fireworks!! by Amoto94(op): 10:00am On Nov 05, 2017
 *The Ruling On Fireworks* ‼️

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaimīn on Buying, Selling, or Using Fireworks:

_Questioner: […]What is the ruling of selling, buying or using firecrackers and what are called “fireworks”?_

_Shaikh Ibn ‘Uthaimīn: […]All praise be to Allāh, Lord of all creation, and may Allāh increase in His praise of our prophet Muḥammad in His highest gatherings, as well as his family and all of his companions._

_What I hold is that selling them and buying them is prohibited, and that is due to two reasons._

_The first reason is that it is wasting wealth, and wasting wealth is prohibited, due to the Prophet ﷺ having prohibited that._

_The second is that there is a harm [and nuisance] in them to people due to their annoying noises; and on occasion, fires occur as a result of them when they fall on something flammable while they’re still live, not having been extinguished._

_So due to these two reasons, we hold that they are prohibited, and that it is not permissible to sell them or buy them._

Agriculture › Gov. Bello’s Omi Rice Mill Will Feed The Nation – Smart Adeyemi by Amoto94(op): 6:54pm On Oct 15, 2017
A chieftain of the All Progressives Party in Kogi State, Senator Smart Adeyemi has commended Governor Yahaya Bello for the massive revolution going on across the state in the area of rice production.
In a press statement issued on Sunday, Adeyemi said the 50 tonnes rice mill project at Omi Dam will create jobs and boost the revenue base of the state.

He noted that the rice mill project, when completed, will feed the nation and make the product readily available for all Nigerians.
“The steps taken so far by the governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello will go along way in improving the economy of the state and the nation in general. Kogi State is emerging the number one agricultural state in the federation.

“Kogi State had declared a state of emergency in the agricultural sector long before the unstable revenue generation in the state. The visionary administration of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has placed agriculture on the front burners of its economic prosperity plan known as the New Direction Agenda.
“A massive revolution is going on across the state in the area of rice production.
“The Omi Dam rice Project is breathing down on the leading rice producers in the country,” he said.
Senator Adeyemi also commended President Muhammadu Buhari for awarding the construction of Kabba-Egbe-Omu Aran road.

He said the road will restore the economic fortunes of the communities along the road and fast-track development in Kogi West.
He called on Kogites to the administration of Governor Yahaya Bello total support so that he can deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.

Take IMF serious at your own peril is the economy as bad as its being portrayed by IMF? The answer is no.
Is there any room for improvement? The answer is yes.

One of the reasons for the slow growth rate is the nonpayment of salaries by abt 2/3 of our state governors leading to shortage in money circulation.

The lives of millions of Sahelians depends on the waters from the lake and something urgent is not done we should be getting prepared for further displacement of human beings and reduction in economic activities.

Ruling regarding the one who becomes angry when an affliction befalls him
Question:

What is the ruling regarding the one who becomes angry when an affliction befalls him?
Answer:

People are upon 4 levels regarding the circumstances of affliction:
The First Level: Being angry, and this is in various ways:

The first type: That the anger is by the heart as if he is angry at his Lord. So he becomes angry with what Allaah has decreed for him, and this (level) is haraam. And it is possible that this could lead to kufr (disbelief). Allaah said: “And among mankind is he who worships Allaah as it were, upon the very edge (i.e. in doubt); if good befalls him, he is content therewith; but if a trial befalls him, he turns back on his face (i.e. reverts back to disbelief after embracing Islaam). He loses both this world and the Hereafter.” - Al-Hajj (22):11

The second type: That the anger is by the tongue like making duaa for destruction or ruin and what is similar to that, and this is haraam.

The third type: That the anger is by the limbs like slapping the cheeks, ripping the clothes, pulling out hair, and similar to that, and all of this is haraam in contradiction to patience which is waajib (obligatory).

The Second Level: Being patient, just as the poet said:

“Patience is like its name - bitter in taste, yet its outcomes are sweeter than honey.”

So the person sees this thing (the affliction) weighs very heavy upon him, yet he bears it although he dislikes that it happened. Rather, his eemaan bears it and restrains him from being angry. So the time of affliction and the time of no affliction is not the same to him, and this (level) is waajib, because Allaah commanded the people to be patient, saying: “…and be patient. Surely, Allaah is with those who are As-Saabireen (the patient ones, etc.).” - Al-Anfaal (cool:46

The Third Level: Being pleased with the affliction in that the person is pleased with the affliction and whether it happened or not, it is the same to him so he it is not difficult upon him. He does not bear it as if it is something weighing heavy on him, and this (level) is mustahabb (preferred - between haraam and waajib) and it is not waajib according to the most correct opinion. The difference between this level and the one before it is apparent because the affliction happening or not happening is the same due to the pleasure of the one on this level. As for the level before it, the affliction is hard upon him, yet he remains patient over it.

The Fourth Level: Thanking/being grateful and this is the highest level. This is that the person thanks Allaah for the affliction which has struck him in that he knows that this affliction is an expiation for his sins and perhaps a cause for an increase in his good deeds. The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said:

“There is no affliction which strikes the Muslim except that Allaah expiates with it (sins), even with a thorn that may poke him.” (Recorded by Bukhaari and Muslim)

Q: When one has a wet dream, should one make Ghusl and change one's garment or is it permissible to wear them again?
A: If a male or female has a wet dream, they must perform Ghusl ceremonial bathing following major impurity) if semen is emitted. However, experiencing a wet dream without emitting seminal fluid does not require Ghusl. Um Sulaym asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Does a woman have to perform Ghusl if she has a wet dream?" He replied: "Yes, if she sees the fluid."
The word fluid here means semen. If a man or woman finds semen after a wet dream, or without having a wet dream, Ghusl is required. Semen is recognized by its distinctive feature; a thick fluid that is produced following sexual arousal. Therefore, if a man or a woman finds semen after a wet dream or if they awaken to find emission of semen seminal fluid, even without remembering to have had a wet dream, they must perform Ghusl, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered. However, dreams without emitting semen do not require Ghusl, whether it occurs by day or night. Wet dreams do not invalidate Sawm (Fast) or Hajj because it is beyond human control. Thus, if one has a wet dream during the day in Ramadan, the Day of `Arafah (9th of Dhul-Hijjah) or the day of Mina before hurling the pebbles (Jamarat) at the stone pillar, there is no harm in this, as it is beyond one's control. Allah (Glorified be He) does not burden a soul beyond its capacity.

Imaam Ahmad said, *"the foundations of Islaam are upon three ahaadeeth:*

The hadeeth of Umar, 'verily actions are by intention'

The hadeeth of Aa`ishah, 'whoseover introduces into this affair of ours that which is not part it, then it is rejected.

'The hadeeth of Nu`maan bin Bashir, 'the halaal is clear and the haraam is clear.'"
___

Ishaaq bin Raahawayah said, *"the foundations of the religion are upon four hadeeth:*

The hadeeth of Umar, 'verily actions are by intention.

'The hadeeth, 'the halaal is clear, and the haraam is clear.

'The hadeeth, 'verily the creation of one of you comes together in the stomach of his mother for 40 days.'

The hadeeth, 'whosoever invents into this affair of ours anything which is not part of it, then it is rejected.'"

___

Abu Daawood said, *"I looked into the hadeeth of the Musnad (i.e. of Ahmad) and it consisted of 40000 ahaadeeth. The I looked again and (found that) the 40000 ahaadeeth revolved around 4 ahaadeeth:*

The hadeeth of Nu'maan bin Bashir, 'the halaal is clear and the haraam is clear.'

The hadeeth of Umar, 'verily actions are by intentions'

The hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah, 'Verily Allaah is pure, and does not accept except that which is pure. And indeed Allaah ordered the Muslims with that which He ordered the Messengers.'

The hadeeth, 'from the excellence of ones Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him.'"
___

And also from Abu Daawood, *"it suffices man that he knows from all these ahaadeeth [the ones he collected in his Sunan] 4 ahaadeeth:*

The first: His, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, saying,'verily actions are by intention.'

The second: His saying, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, 'from the excellence of a persons Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him.'

The third: His, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, saying,'The believer will not truly believe until he wishes for his brother that which he wishes for himself.'

The fourth: His, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, saying,'the halaal is clear and the haraam is clear.'"
___

And in another narration from him, *"Fiqh revolves around 5 ahaadeeth:*

(The hadeeth), 'the halaal is clear and the haraam is clear'

His, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, saying, 'do not harm and do not reciprocate harm.'

His saying, 'Verily actions are by intentions.'

His saying, 'The religion is advice/sincerity'

His saying, 'what I forbade you from then stay away from it, and what I ordered you with then do as much of it as you can.'"

Islam › Muharram by Amoto94(op): 7:16am On Sep 24, 2017
*Muharram*

Firstly: Muharram is amongst those months in which Allaah made fighting forbidden.

the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) want us to oppose the Jews, so he commanded us to fast a day before Ashoorah (i.e. the 9th of Muharram) before fasting on the 10th (i.e. Day of Ashoorah); and it is stated in another narration: ‘’A day after it (i.e. a day after Ashoorah); but fasting on the 9th day of Muharram before fasting the 10th of Al-Muharram (i.e. the day of Ashoorah) is more established.

As for the shia, they make the Day of Ashoorah a Day of sadness, weeping and wailing—may Allaah disfigure them—because it was the day Husain (radiyallaahu-anhu) who was murdered.  Indeed calamity is not to be faced with wailing, sins and evil deeds; rather it should be faced with obedience to Allaah and hoping for Allaah’s reward.  There is no doubt that the killing of Husain (radiyallaahu-anhu) was a calamity, but Allaah commanded us to exercise patience and hope for His reward during calamities.  What is legislated on this Day of Ashoorah is that we fast and there should be no newly invented matters in the religion.

Likewise, there are those ignorant ones amongst the Sunnis who consider this Day as a day of happiness and some of them call it the New Year; so they behave generously towards their children, serving them food and bestowing gifts to one another.  Indeed, these affairs are innovations and newly invented matters in the religion, and they are not permissible.  This action of those ignorant Sunnis is the other side of falsehood compared to the actions of the shia! The shia grieve and the ignorant Sunnis display happiness.  Do they (i.e. these ignorant Sunni) show happiness for murder of Husain (radiyallaahu-anhu), because this ignorant act will be considered as a manifestation of happiness due to the murder of Husain (radiyallaahu-anhu) on this Day.   Therefore, it is obligated upon the Muslim to follow the Sunnah and abandon innovations in the religion.
