SalamRushdie: I dont have to be a President to be greater than Buhari , i only have to impact the world in better ways than Buhari can dream of ..My grouse with Buhari is incomptence, short sight and crass nepotism and I currently hold him responsible for 80 percent of the rot Nigeria and Nigerians have become and I know what I am saying Incompetence and short sight indeed, his been invited and moving around the world addressing world leaders even in United Nations assembly. While you are here addressing us on Nairaland, congratulations na small small sha. |

SalamRushdie: Calabar seem to be getting more industrial investment than any othet4 state these days. You just got my thinking. For instance a state like Rivers state especially with the present administration, i do ask, is it that the state is afraid of investors or investors afraid of Rivers state. Because the only development you here about is that they are constructing road, building market/motor park, renovating schools and hospital which the job it create is for the few months that the project is executed. No human development project or policy that can impact on people like Job creation that is sustainable for a long time. Something is wrong. |

odimbannamdi: Truth is, there are still some good and professional SARS officers out there. We just live in a country where the bad sides to everything are amplified, ignoring the good sides. YOU have said it all, the reason why most of us even in our personal life will continue to be unhappy is because we always look so much at the bad side of life, even to the extend of ignoring good when it comes knocking on our door of life. |

Quelle: The Nigerian police force in response to the trending #endsars campaign, has hit back with a #supportSARS campaign as they claim majority of the operatives are “Good, disciplined and commendable”.
In new tweets sent in from their Twitter account, they acknowledged the fact that maybe ‘few’ of the operatives act against the ethics of the police profession and that those will be investigated.
See their tweets below:
http://www.lodgerill.com.ng/2017/12/nigerian-police-force-start-supportsars.html I strongly support to REFORMING SARS. The police must not succumb to the call to END SARS. They remove the bad eggs among them because if SARS we will not sleep especially in Rivers state. |

mex22: My brother even by the time buhari leaves govt.things cannot be they way he met them.meaning dollar he met at 210-220 can never get it to that.Mind u he met a bag of rice at 7,500 other food stuffs at way below half of the price.the fact the prices of food stuffs dropped a little is because the hardship was much that most Nigerians had to resort to farming to feed.If he came in hit the ground running probably a bag of rice today would have been as low as 5,000 and other items far cheaper. The buying power dropped, the salaries could not take most people home cos of high inflation occasioned by bad govt.policies and slow response to issues. Our exchange rate got to #520.cos the govt. didn't allow foreign currencies to do their thing(by pegging d dollar n other currencies against d naira) bringing about over a 100% rise in a space of 1year.As a result companies closed shop cos of high cost of production and thousands jobs were lost. I am not a fan of Jonathan. I am just an honest Nigerian who is bold to say the truth when things aren't going well.I see people who can't have one tangible meal in a day. Here in the north the rate of food theft is on the rise cos there isn't money in circulation,no visible capital projects been done.Brother there is hunger in the land if u are not aware.
@Amtruth is see from your profile u registered just in December.I suspect you are one those online politicallyvrecruited robots paid to boost the image of a political party.Come, gone are the days of those magic.Performance should speak for itself .#WESAYNOTOPROPAGANDA. Am pleased with your objectivity for now. However am not recruited by any political party. Am just a Nigerian who looks at the good aspect of things. I rather prefer that millions of jobs are created in rice farming to continue to increase production thereby reducing the price from 28K last year to btw 12,000 and 16,000 now. At 7,500 per bag millions of job were not created because we were importing and creating jobs for other. I assure you rice price will still drop as production increase. The govt release 1.2 trillion for capital budget but most went to backlog owed contractor by previous administration hence low visibility as this has encourage most contractor back to site . Many factories are been commission in kebbi, kano kaduna, calabar, fertilizer plant in Ph ,lagos by the vice president, cbn gov, president to mentioned but few.though this is inadequate to the many unemployed, however company are still setting up factories. No one is saying things are ok, but what we say is that things are gradually getting better overtime if only you also see the good aspect of the govt. |

The earlier you people realize those who haven't been convicted are innocent, the better for you. You know he can't be the prosecutor and judge at the same time. As we know our judiciary system is very frustrating and disappointing. No wonder Deiziani Maduke applied that her case be transferred to Nigeria because she know some of our judges are corrupt as mentioned by the president himself. mex22: Are the planning on rigging it cos I hear voices of people on this thread who are displeased and annoyed with this govt for failing them.Is fighting corruption the only priority of this govt.Every statement is corruption without nothing been said about strides taken to boost and revive the economy.Presently the economy is shambles and u have done nothing to revive it and u are seeking a second term. But on a serious note I thought Buhari said his leadership would be for one term.A man that can keep to his words can't be trusted.Nigerians let's vote wisely come 2019 and elect a president who can take us to the next level. The suffering is glaring let's learn our lessons. If the economy is truly in shambles i think you would not be able to buy the Data you have use to make your comments. Just my thinking anyway. However with the gradual drop in food price, the appreciation of the naira in FX from 520 to 360,the millions of farmers engaged that has reduce our import on rice, the empowering of half a million youth in npower, just to mention few now. I know most of you will never see because you choose not to see. It ok anyway, 2019 shall tell the number that love the president most. Ok! |

I think Buhari will be a better candidate even though not the perfect one to anybody the Pdp will produce. take for instance the npower program is empowering like half a million youth which the pdp 16 years rule had never achieve. And they may get up to one million by the end of 2019. Even though it is not a permanent job Nigeria youth need it and that's why they are applying, however youth are empowered with skills. Just to mention this for now. Mind you the federal ministries, army, navy and other are still employing for the permanent ones. The school feeding too presently 5 million children are fed, which PDp never never achieve even if it is ten thousand. By end of 2019 the number will be higher, cooks are happy, farmers are happy, parents and children happy too. |

I don't know what these people see that they are after him. At the moment now,all the names we are hearing now towards 2019 do not worth our vote, including Buhari. I see no one credible for 2019 election. I bliv Buhari is a better candidate than what the pdp will produce. Take for instance the npower which present is empowering half a million youth which i bliv by the end of 2019 they may get up to one million empowered youth, though not permanent job but in a way preparing youth for productivity. This is what have never happen in PDP 16 years rule. This is just one of the many |
