Igbo fought colonial master for 31years, another ipob stat. Not only 31, na 500years. Who takes people that just 179 of my tribe soldiers chased away over 500 of their coward so called armies at ore serious.
Did you not fight the war against Britain, US, and the rest of the world again? But he said is true, Yoruba has never fought any modern war, it took less than 300 whites to colonise you, the Igbo fought the whites for over 30 years from Aba Riot, to Anglo Aro Awe, to Ekumeku wars to Onitsha uprising I think the Igbo have a robust history of fighting .... They even bear is as a surname "agha" meaning war |

vannessa7: I totally agree with you that Igbo girls are commodity and thus must be sold in the market and I thank God I'm not one of them but Im a Yoruba where our girls are priceless, everybody know the most important things are always free, we are in the class of oxygen and water, we are to valuable to be sold, our parents place so much value on us that no amount of money you give them will compensate them for marrying us, we are above that, yorubal will say "odidi omo" i.e a whole child. As per crime every nation on earth have criminals but your own is like 90% criminal minds, go figure Igbo girls are commodities yet you gush for them...I keep asking why is it that you guys don't appreciate your women |

PrecisionFx: U can come to igbo land and live here for 122 years and have 10,000 igbo friends before the inception of nairaland, it doesn't mean u know anything about the marriage culture n tradition of igbo people, 99% of yorubas are blank as regards marriage in igbo land .
Pained tribe, always chooking mouth in igbo matters. Igbos have never ever discussed about yoruba marriage, its costs and how it is done anywhere, we just ignore everything abt u people because we dont see u as competition in anyway, yet yoruba would carry igbo marriage like unripe plantain for head. Sometimes I wonder why they do that...they keep complaining that the marriage rites are high ...I ask myself, what is scaring them away from their ladies ...abeg if they don't marry their ladies ...Na we Igbo go do am? Something is wrong that they are not telling us.... |

jahsharon: The guy na Muslim nah. Na hustle turn am to Santa. Yoruba Muslims are really liberal. I am a Muslim, my wife is a Christian and still goes to Church. Whenever I am idle, I follow her to Church, that doesn't make me less a Muslim. I don't know where Hausa/Fulani got their brand of fanatical Islam. Don't mind that idíot...keep the work on. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Father Christmas Observing Muslim Prayer-photo by AmuDimpka: 2:56am On Dec 27, 2019 |
verifiablefacts: this type is called direction-less,you think it is only Hausa/Fulani that practice that way. When in Church, when it is said Jesus is God,you say amen to that?
Mind you,Christians have their right of worship but as a Muslim know your right of worship. Yoruba Muslims are advanced and that is why they are making progress unlike northern Muslims ....I like the Yoruba Muslims...near my street here in Lagos , you would see a woman wearing hijab but she is selling Brandy, whiskey, vodka etc...that is yoruba for you. They are just like that and they don't take this religious madness too extreme..they understand that Islam and Christianity are imported religion and they would still do that ifa We all must start opting from them especially the northern Muslims |
