I voted for Peter Obi in 2023 but I will never vote for him again ..

He is a hypocrite, a mad man who talks anyhow ...
No wonder he got an advice from a mad man.

Talks like a woman whose husband refused to pay for the expensive shoes she likes...

Obi thinks that insulting Christians will make the Muslims fall in love with him not knowing that he just ruined his political career of becoming a president..

He Peter Obi can never say the same thing about Muslims because he knows the consequences...

The same Church that campaign for him,the same vigil he attended every night dressing like a cultist in black clothes...

Peter Obi should apologise to Christians or he will never come close to that presidential seat..

God bless the good people of Southsouth and Southwest..
Obi gains nothing from your voting him. If you vote him, your life will be better for it. If you don't, you keep suffering.
What Obi said is an incontrovertible truth. Churches need to restructure their operations. So much time is wasted calling on God in matters outside His jurisdiction. Little wonder He no longer reasons Nigeria.

Yes we choose cheating to reciprocate on, we don't want your oil rig and other physical intensive jobs that is meant for men, we choose to "evolve" when it comes to cheating because it affects mental health and the family unit as a whole, since most of you men have refused to see women as humans and not objects to manhandle and misbehave anyhow especially emotionally, we choose to give it right back to you same fold,

So keep crying, cos it's obvious from the many complaints and constant tears and threats of DNA bla bla bla that the repercussion of what you started first hits home, yet you all still indirectly try to gaslight, manipulate, and coerce women to accept polygamy and see cheating as a norm, keep it up, we will continue to leave useless men that can't stick to their wives alone and continue to reject polygamy till thy kingdom come or cheat right back, there is nothing anyone of you can do about it.
Wives can cheat for as much as they like but they should try and own up their mess, like men do, when the bubble finally bursts. This is because I have noticed that even the most promiscuous woman wants to be seen as very modest and decent. So benchmark men in infidelity, but prepare to take the comebacks with your full chest.

You’re the custodian of your sperm. If you don’t want to have babies with a woman who’s not your wife, you’ll keep your penis in your underwear. It’s not hard at all

Yes you may need to come to my school to learn how to share a wife. Women have been sharing husbands since time immemorial when you people lied to them that God created you to cheat on them and abuse them. Heaven hasn’t fallen. It won’t fall if you learn to share your wives too.

You can wait your turn for marital sex the way women in polygamy have to wait.
You can provide your quota to the upkeep of the home just as those women do.
You should know your place and don’t question your wife.
You should be willing to accept the kids from the marriage as yours too because you’re one big happy family. Thankfully DNA is alive and well. You can easily differentiate which kids are yours (IF YOU MUST).
Hope they will also take up provision for the entire family and not just the little privilege enjoyed by the provider.

There is nothing like feminism there, polygamy is very unfair and emotionally draining to wives and children, but men in their usual selfishness pretend they don't know this and continue to promote polygamy.
While monogamy is also emotionally draining to husbands. Husbands also deserve to be happy. If not that women started abusing monogamy by taking advantage of some exclusive privileges it confers on then, men wouldn't be thinking polygamy. But it is the ultimate cure for wives' stupidity.

Afenifere should know that Nigeria back then is not the same with Nigeria today. When GEJ was in power, he exhibited the worst kind of hate against the SW. He didn't just marginalize Yorubas but was picking out Yorubas from Federal Agencies for sack, to replace with Igbos . It's just that Yorubas are docile, if not our people should have risen to fight such injustice. At a point. Igbos took over almost everything in Abuja, all Financial institutions and whatnot in this country were under their grip
When Buhari came into power, he removed and replaced them all with Northerners, reason their hate for the man grew beyond bounds. Throughout Buhari's 8years, the North held power firmly. That was when Yorubas got appointment and were allowed to remain as head of Federal Agencies.

Imagine what GEJ a Southerner did to South West compared to what a Northerner did.

The President should appoint those he knows will deliver and give results, not giving appointments to those that will sabotage his government.
Look at the ones calling themselves APC in Anambra who all worked against APC for Obi now crying that lady Bianca got appointed as Minister against their wish. They are just starting with their crocodile tears.
We have seen the kind of result they are delivering .... More grease to their worn out elbows.

But this fake Afenifere that all Yoruba rejected during the election wants Jagaban to accord the same level of appointments to a minority tribe of secessionists who didn't vote for him but were actively calling for him to be overthrown by the military.

The real matter you should be worried about is that there are close to 15 million out of school children in the north wandering the streets as Muslim monks aka almajiri and are subjected to all manner of abuse.

These same almajiris are the ones created and maintained by northern politicians to be deployed as their foot soldiers in their politically motivated riots .

If you are in any way sensible you will look at ending the almajiri system in the first place because if there was no almajiri system in the north , there won't be foot soldiers like these kids you see as harmless who are the ones used in violent secular riots that prop up anytime the northern politicians feel they are losing out

Wife Confesses Online After DNA Test Reveals Husband Isn’t Child’s Father, Two Years Into Marriage"

A woman recently sought advice on social media after finding out that the man she had an affair with two years into her marriage is actually her child’s biological father, not her husband. She shared her confession on the platform X (formerly Twitter), where it quickly drew widespread attention. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Wife cheats on husband 2 years into marriage, seeks help online after DNA test reveals child isn’t his

In her post, the woman explained that she married her husband in 2020, and they mutually agreed to delay having children to enjoy their early years together.

However, over time, she began to suspect her husband of infidelity. Feeling hurt and betrayed, despite staying faithful herself, she confided in a male friend.

During this vulnerable period, one thing led to another, and they ended up having an affair.

She became pregnant in 2022 and assumed her husband was the father of her child.

It wasn’t until a recent comment from a friend, who jokingly remarked that her child resembled another man, that doubts surfaced.

This prompted her to secretly conduct a DNA test, which confirmed that her husband was not the father; instead, the man with whom she’d had the brief affair was.

Her emotional post reads:

“Hello sir, please I’m confused and I need an advice, I got married 2020, my husband and I decided not to have kids immediately in other to enjoy our marriage small.”

“Now fast forward to 2 years later 2022 to be precise, I found out my husband is having affair outside, this particular action shattered all the trust and love I had for my husband.”

“I was hurt because I know the number of men I turn down on daily basis, there was this guy that have been a casual friend of mine.”

“I confided in him and one thing lead to another we made out, the do was good and we had it couple of times more before I put an end to it because it’s wrong and I was feeling guilty and also I saw the sincerity in my husband.”

“Got pregnant 2022 and last year I gave birth, I sincerely thought my husband is the father of my child, but recently my friend made a joke that my son resembled David.”

“I was shocked because nobody knew about what happened bw me and David except the both of us and the guy is even married now, last month I took my son to a secret dna to my shock my husband is not the father.”

“I’m scared, shocked and traumatized I don’t know what to do, how to act or whom to talk, to think I’m currently pregnant for my husband.”

“My husband trust me with his life, he sees me as an angel but the guilt of everything is killing me, please sir what should I do I’m confused I love my husband So much and I don’t want to lose please.”

Her confession has sparked widespread reactions, with many sharing advice and opinions on her situation.

See some reactions below:

@Gozie_mu: “Cheating consequences is not the same for both gender, as well as the consequences of been broke is not the same for both gender.”

@Jidekuje: “You lost your husband the day you chose to confide in someone you know wants to nack you despite him knowing that you are married. You deserve no pity since you feel you can exercise the right to cheat like your husband. Enjoy the consequence of your decision.”

@I__E__O: “Honestly I don’t know what to advise, but I’ll really say my mind: the moment you decide to cheat on your husband, took in from another man, and also gave him someone else’s child to be taking care of is the day you have already nailed him on the cross. Go to ur new husband x

@declasiqstudio_: “One of the most stup!d thing she said was I love my husband. Most women who suspects their husbands of cheating, are likely to to cheat.”

If infrastructure does not build economy.

Why is Qatar and dubai the most sort after destination countries In the world.

Or why are ur people in S.E clamouring for 2nd Niger bridge.
Dubai and Qatar didn't start with infrastructure. They started building other components of their economy like security, culture of accountability and discipline in their public and private businesses, justice system, rule of law etc without which their massive infrastructural developments would have become a liability just like ours is turning out to be because people have to be attracted to those investments for revenue to be earned.

You embark on coastal road project when our highways are riddled with kidnappers and ritual killers. How many people are still using the Kaduna-Abuja rail line after the terrorist attack about three years ago? Will that project ever break even? The courts cannot be trusted to do justice and you want investors to put their money at risk by investing in such a clime as ours? What about the populace that is so accustomed to corrupt acts. Are those the people that will run those investment in a system where nothing is done to rein in erring officials usually with equally corrupt god-fathers? Just wake up.
RomanceRe: How To Control Your Wife & Manage Your Home Without Domestic Violence by Amumaigwe: 6:07pm On Oct 29, 2024
greypencils:
This post is a response to another thread where a certain lawyer was recorded assaulting his wife & traumatizing his kids in the process. I do believe it is possible to live in marital bliss without domestic violence from either spouse. I am married so this is me speaking from experience. This is free advice, its implementation is up to you.

1. The first thing is to change that mindset of beating a woman to control her. If you are resolved in your heart that there is no other way, there is NOTHING I can say to convince you. Have that mindset and make that resolve not to hit your wife irrespective of the provocation

2. Realize that you as the man of the house, You are in full control of your home. No be your surname she dey bear? She is your 'property' to love and to cherish and to discipline if need be. The issue now is how to discipline your wife without hitting her.

These are some ways.
A. Be a good person. Love your wife, don't tell her, show her. Spend time with her. Provide what you can and help around the house. You can't command authority or respect from your wife when you are night crawling, going round the clubs with girls instead of spending time with her and your children. You can't come home drunk at 3.00am smelling of another woman's perfume and expect her to stay silent as the loyal submissive wife you expect her to be. You can't expect her to respect you WHEN YOU ARE BEING IRRESPONSIBLE. It is irresponsibility to club SERIALLY leaving your wife and children entering your house at odd hours of the night. No woman with self respect will stand for that. You are a married man with a family. If you know you can't leave the night life alone, marry a dunce who will take all your excesses without question. Unfortunately for you, they don't exist, they demand accountability, be accountable. That is the meaning of being responsible.

B. Read A again & practice it.

C. Once A & B is established, your wife knows you are a rare breed and she will do EVERYTHING you ask her to do. I PROMISE YOU. Those times when she is being very quarrelsome, remind her of your GOOD nature, remind her that girls are out there to grab you if she ever let's you go with her bad behavior.

D. If she is still being quarrelsome, leave the house. WHAT I DO is to tell my wife I LOVE HER but I CANT STAY IN THE SAME HOUSE WITH HER WITH THAT ATTITUDE. I say that every time before I walk out even with me brimming with anger. I always come back late at night to meet a sober wife.

E. I haven't tried this before because I haven't had to. Refuse her food. Simple. She will feel some other woman is feeding you. This makes her feel she is about to lose you. She will align and behave better.

F. If that doesn't work, move out of the house for a few days. Take only a few things. Let her know you are leaving not because you have another woman you want to sleep with. Rather you are leaving because of her quarrelsome attitude. She will come around begging you.

If None of the above breaks her, move out permanently. She is not supposed to be your wife. STAY SEPARATED. You may remarry if you so wish.

If the house she is staying is yours, sell it while she is still there. Na your house. Just make sure your children are either in boarding school, with you or away at a relatives place when the new owners want to take possession of the house. She will either sort herself or come running to you.
You are amateurish beyond pardon. All what you wrote will have the direct opposite of your desired result.
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi’s Silence: The Selective Integrity That Proves He’s No President by Amumaigwe: 3:45pm On Oct 29, 2024
malali:
As Nigerians, we’ve been through enough—enough betrayal, enough selective justice, enough lip service. And yet, we’re here again, witnessing Peter Obi, a man vying for the highest office in our country, practicing a brand of selective silence that is not only disturbing but fundamentally flawed for anyone aspiring to lead a nation as complex and demanding as ours.

When it comes to national issues, Peter Obi has been strangely silent, particularly when his own base or the Southeast are implicated. The latest example? The case of House of Representatives member Alex Ikwechegh allegedly assaulting someone—a clear-cut issue of abuse of power. Yet, from Obi? Silence. Not even a whisper. Contrast this with how quickly he springs to life, microphone in hand, when incidents occur in other regions. Whether it’s the North or the South, Obi doesn’t hesitate to weigh in, sometimes even prejudging cases before any investigation has been launched. His speeches flow like the Niger River when he perceives an opportunity to score political points outside his stronghold, but when accountability hits closer to home? Not a word.

This isn’t just a slip in character—it’s a critical failure in presidential caliber. Leadership demands consistency in values. Nigerians can no longer afford leaders who pick and choose when to stand with them. Justice isn’t supposed to be regional or conditional, but Obi’s selective moral outrage makes it seem otherwise.

Now, take a look at Atiku Abubakar. Despite his personal closeness to Senator Abbo—the same senator who shamefully assaulted a young woman in a intimacy gadget shop—Atiku made a statement that made Nigerians take notice. He didn’t mince words, didn’t dodge accountability; he publicly condemned Abbo’s actions, stating they were unbecoming of a senator and called for due legal repercussions. He didn’t hide behind friendship or affiliations. He displayed what a presidential candidate should: a readiness to hold even close associates accountable, a commitment to a standard that is supposed to apply to every Nigerian equally. That’s the mark of a leader with a presidential mindset—someone prepared to make the hard calls, even when they cut close to home.

Peter Obi, for all his touted prudence, lacks this backbone. And the silence isn’t limited to him alone. Many who should have condemned Alex Ikwechegh’s actions have turned mute, their outrage suspiciously absent. This silence from Obi and others reveals a culture that prioritizes convenience over principle, comfort over courage.

Nigeria cannot afford leaders who speak when it suits them and go silent when the waters get choppy. Real leadership requires speaking out not just when it’s convenient but when it’s necessary. We need leaders who don’t just occupy the spotlight but hold it up to everyone—including themselves and their allies. Peter Obi may have been a fine governor, perhaps even a great one. But presidential material? True leadership requires more than economic savvy or regional appeal. It requires an unyielding commitment to justice that transcends friendship, geography, and political calculations.

In the end, Nigeria deserves a leader who sees this nation as a whole, not as fractured segments where allegiance depends on the audience. Until Peter Obi can stand firm, without regard to where his support lies, he will remain a regional figure at best, a man whose aspirations reach the presidency but whose actions reveal the limits of his leadership. A great governor? Maybe. A presidential figure for all Nigerians? Hardly. And for those watching—those who still believe in holding every Nigerian to account without fear or favor—it’s time to demand more from the people we consider presidential contenders. We need leaders who have the courage to hold justice high, even when it stings their closest supporters. That’s real leadership. That’s what Nigerians deserve.
All these qualities you expect from a leader which you enumerated, how many of them does Tinubu, whom you support, possess? You can never mask hypocrisy.

Long read alert

First of all hopefully the mods wouldn't see this as ethnic stuffs and all and see that enough reason to remove this topic, it's not always easy for me like that sitting behind my computer trying to put out my observation as a conservative Yoruba man.

And for the records, for those ethnic bigots and all let me tell you that i was an ardent supporter of Goodluck Jonathan. The only time i've ever voted in my entire almost 40s life was in 2011 when i had to vote for Jonathan. So whatever you will be hearing from me here is coming from the conservative part of me and nothing else.

And oh, i am from Ondo state where Tinubu has never won all his life. I mean, he has never been able to ever install any governor in my state all his political career before you start shouting agbado and all sort.

So to the topic I've been following Peter Obi for a while now on social media because of all the hypes that surrounds him because of all the youth and all to actually see if indeed he's all that and all because to be candid i don't really care about any Politician and political parties like that, i see all of them as same.

But ever since i've been following Peter Obi, I've never been more disappointed in a politician than him all my life, several post that shows he has issues with SW and Yoruba people in general. The last of his post that got me all worked up was when he was t5alking about the power outage in Nigeria and he only mentioned the Northern/SS and SE region as the people suffering power outage. Like oh come on, i live in SW, Ibadan precisely and i have families and friends back in Ondo my hometown and almost every part of SW state and i get reports almost every seconds of the day, there are no electricity supply in many parts of SW too during when he made that post even my own area in Ibadan but he made it looked like there's supply in SW and the only regions he mentioned are those without electricity supply. Is he trying to de-market SW and Yoruba people or what exactly maybe because the present president is of Yoruba extraction?

Look in Nigeria today, there are some politicians despite not being Yoruba and i being a Yoruba conservative who loves and care majorly about Yoruba interest i will still campaign and prob vote for. Likes of Sule Lamido, Donald Duke, Akpabio, Olusegun Mimiko and Rochas Okorocha. So all i'm saying is that being a conservative looking out for Yoruba interest, i know detribalized working politicians before you start calling me names.
You are hating on the person that called out the federal government on power outage because he didn't specifically mention SW, but have not complained about those that caused your problem. However much you try to mask bigotry, it always gives the person away.

Ikwechegh did. That will make you sound more intelligent rather than as a hateful tribalist.

Having only watched a brief excerpt of the footage, it is premature to draw any definitive conclusions.

The lawmaker should be afforded the opportunity to present his perspective.

As a distinguished public figure, he deserves to be treated with due respect.

We must proceed with caution and refrain from allowing emotions to cloud our judgment in this matter.

shocked
This is typical Yoruba APC members' mentality. I need to be proved wrong.

What is the cause of the 'disparity in economic inequality'? It is a shame that after 48 years in power and dominance all juicy government businesses, this kind of excuse is coming from the North. They haven't seen anything yet.
