I went to ante-natal on Monday and the doctor that attended to me after seeing my file told me that one of the fibroid is at lower segment and that It's blocking the cervix, that by 36wks if it didn't change position they won't allow me to fall into labour they will carry out cs. I did the last scan at 22weeks,I will be 28weeks tomorrow. please What are my chances of the fibroid changing position, Have anyone experienced this. God bless

Went for antenatal yesterday, doc said I can stop the aspirin now, take the diclofenac and diazepam only when d pains come, continue with the paludrin, never took fansidar.

Tested positive for malaria at every time I was supposed to take fansidar so just treated it normally, coartem thrice n injection once.

The hospital can order for test for africa , v forgotten how much v spent on running tests . According to my doc they have to monitor me closely n treat anything that might lead to complications immediately. Taking no chances.

Bp went up again yesterday, so she added aldomet to my drugs .....wish I could fast forward time abeg...

Funny thing is apart from the occational nasty pains, I feel very ok. Dont even take the drugs regularly sef. So I am very grateful to God.

For heartburn, hmm, even if I dont eat fir hours I get it, I just take mist mag once in a while now.

I know God that has started this good works in our lives will surely bring it to a perfect end..... my teamies how una dey.

Pls o wanna ask......m taking lots of drugs n I m feeling like its too much

Nifedipine 20mg daily.....bp n contractions
Aspirin 75mg daily.......bp
Diclofenac 50mgdaily..... fibroid pains
Paludrin daily.......malaria
Diazepam (valium)5mg daily......??
Pregnacare or ferotone daily

Treated malaria now 4 times, used zinnat once, septrin once, ventolin for some time buh stopped cos it does same work as nifedipine for contractions

Bp is jst very slightly high. Am I worrying too much? 33weeks now.

Not enjoying this preg at all, buh m grateful to God oooo. He has bin faithful. God bless us n all that concern us. Hugs n kisses

I finally bought the Rhogam injection today, as a mum indicated earlier that the price increases per dollar rate...I bought mine for 31800...I wanted to leave it dia as dey said cos dey advised that it should be kept refrigerated till d day of delivery but dh insisted he will go home with it cos nobody knows d time Labour will come, whether at midnight...although its in my fridge now but am scared whether it will spoil or not...pls I need advice on this

Hello, if u have a freezer, make sure u have ice always, so u can substitute when power goes out

Hello, fibroids do cause pains. Got a num of dem with this preg, one entirely covering cervix, in fact my tummy looks so lumpy its annoying, sometimes d tins tighten up like hard balls , 31 weeks now so.......cant just wait!!!!.

I have googled a lot about it too even right from the onset n all dey say is dey dont do them together, bloddy.

Madam kaffy u sent me a mail, buh I think its empty. When I found out about the fibroids n pregnancy i wanted to come to luth but I heard they usually refer to other places, so i just boned it. Will v to come there then. Just about 2months left for me.
I thank God sha, He has been faithful all this months n I know he will bring it to completion. So far i have had just one stay in hosp due to the pain, d rest i have been able to manage at home. Cant wait to hold my baby

Ok so I went for ante natal yesterday,n all is well. Dey v been telling me right from time dat m gonna hv a CS( fibroids), but dey cant take out the fibroids during cs, fine, only for the gyne to say they will have to do the two together(delivery and myectomy). All costing 500k apart from several test ill have to do and having blood ready.
Dont know y she wants to do them together now, n even if I want to do only cs it will be 200k plus, abeg dis money plenty o.
Any doc in d house or any one with experience pls advice. Thinking of changing hospital (quality with lesser price ), any suggestion is welcome. 29weeksnow, baby weighing 1.3, largest fibroid measuring 10cm(they are much), n one is totally blocking the cervix.

Olabankemi, for help, wat I did is get some1 dat comes twice a week, n I pay monthly, working so far. Its not been easy, me I cant even do anything, only manage to cook, no family member around talk less of asking dem to come.
Pls mamas dat dont v serious isues in ur pregnancy never forget to always thank God. N those that do have thank God as well. Almost wished for a walking stick yesterday! And me nor dey hear word, stay 1 place n rest, na outside( pharmacy) my mind go dey.
Might eventually seek out a stay in house help so I wont have to always be alone at home, its really depressing at times
By d way i run a pharmacy store at opebi, a good one so pls........ help a sis out. we got wide range of quality drugs .

So I woke up this morning, wiped after peeing to see brownish substance. I went straight to the hospital and my doctor requested a scan, instructed that I rest and avoid kpekus till after first trimester. Did anyone go through something similar?

Meanwhile, the scan put my EDD for August not September like I thought.

Hello.... I had d brown discharge as well, twice!, although I got fibroids, but it was nothing as long as ist brown not red and very little, m 27 weeks now. Rest well though

Last time doc tried to check my cervix she could not find/reach it. my tummy feels very lumpy as well. They saying m gonna b a cs. How was ur pregnancy experience. Congrats once again.

Hope u see dis poster. A friend of mine was duped recently by a supposed friend. She actually called his international num she's had for some time not knowing he's changed lines. She was duped of almost 500k. Verify very wel if u actually communicating with ur friend. Mind u, friends scam too.

Been a while, for those who can rem me im d 1 with a hard bump jst above m pubic bone and 8weeks. I an now 13weeks gone. So here's an update, went for an u/s few days later, saw d fetus measuring right, and OMG some nasty fibroids, d tecnician spent so much time measurin i jst knew somtin was up. counted about 8 of em, 4 large 1s(8-4cm) n 4small(3-2cm). boy! did i cry... only me 1, first preg. really felt down,prolly why

When was your last menstrual cycle? Add +2weeks to the first day of your last period that will give you an idea of how far along you are! Have you been to the hospital yet? Any scan done? If you are 8 weeks gone its really too early to have a bump even for a multiparity mum.

Thank u so much. Everyone thinks m overreacting. No hospital or scan yet. My last period was on the 4/7. Normal flow. Don't know which hospital to use sef. I stay at ikeja. Or should I just get the scan done first? First time ooo. Btw v only felt nauseous once so far

Welcome on board dear. Still early to grow a bump o. The tiredness and the cramps are part of the package. Had similar experience with my first pregnancy. Hope u've started taking your prenatal drugs. If not pls start ASAP. Wish you happy bumping....

Tnk u so much....I'm kinda worried as the hardness seems to have gotten close to my belly bottom. Infact anytime I bend from the waist or turn while sleeping anyhow the 'bump' becomes really hard and a little more raised. Me I don't understand .I am really really looking like pregnant with a round tummy. Everyone is saying it's too early too see anything in an ultrasound. Ha! 8 weeks now. Or am I farther along than I think?

It's bin gr8 reading through comments on here. M a newbie so..... Ok....just found out m pregnant about 3 weeks ago(wen I missed my p), so I should be like 7 weeks gone right? Well the thing is I'm feeling a kind of hardness just above my pubic bone (for about 2 weeks now).... Got no symptoms at all( no nausea, no sore or nipples) except tiredness n cramps. So my question is, isn't it too early to feel/grow a bump Thank you
