Dude. They only go out to recruit members. Do you know how many missionaries we have? Every Christian should preach Jesus to the unsaved but not recruit members. As a christian I can preach to a muslim and tell him to join the CAC or wherever the undiluted word of God is preached but the JW will tell non-believer to come to JW or go and sleep in hell. How is that preaching Jesus? They see that Jesus as important as an ordinary Angel so they Go around preaching Jehova when Jesus clearly commanded to preach him.

How can we go on to recruit members? Pardon, did Jesus when he made disciples indeed went ahead to recruit disciples? Not @all, rather these humble and lowly ones were drawn to him because of his teachings and Jesus invited them to "come be his followers". So like Jesus did, we carefully search out for what Jesus called Rightly disposed one or friends of peace and share Bible message with such ones. To become a Jehovaj's witnesses isn't under compulsion rather one who desires to share what he or she is learning from the Bible from us do so willingly. So it isn't recruitment.

And our hallmark is - Preachers of God's kingdom as the only solution for mankind. Though we share a lot of topics from the Bible that has affected a lot of people positively such as " how can you have a happy family life", "why does God allow suffering" " who is responsible for mankind woes" " is there any hope for our dead loved ones" " what do the future holds" "who is Jesus christ and what is his role in the fulfilment of God purposes" "who is God" and "what happens to us when we die" and so many others. So next when the come at ur door, show a little humilty and welcome them, dialogue with them, reason with them from the scriptures,Be open-minded.

In all modesty,I'm taken aback with how you approach this issue,I bet to say that you can't and have never done evangelism the way this people does..one mustn't be a member of CAN or PFN to preach the gospel,this people are so passionate and articulate with their mode of evangelism but our so called CAN/PFN don't approach it that way..Have you gone out to preach about this so called hell that we believed in to a brother ? Do you do it regularly like the witness? I guess what your answer would be...

We are different because we hold to our bible based beliefs. We are not and can't be malleable to accept whatever teaching that is not from the Bible, Infact that is one of the features to know the true worshippers of Jehovah, they hold the Bible sacred and as an authority not the traditions of men as it was in the case of the Pharisees of old who teach the traditions of men and Jesus said "woe" to them. Our meetings being held at our Kingdom halls are always open to millions of people to attend free of charge without any collections. Our larger gatherings such as our Conventions and assemblies are always open to all and sundry including press to enjoy with us with spiritual program and wholesome associations.

I lost a colleague in September because she failed to allow blood to be transfuse to her when she lost blood during child birth. Her husband the same JW I learnt was involved in extra marital affairs and don't take care of her.

She is dead and gone, this man will continue his women affairs ministry and maybe her children may suffer for her decision not to allow blood to be transfuse into her.

Throw more light in this. I believe your women are at the receiving end in this. Saving life should be you people believe too.

Well accepting of Blood by any person or not accepting of Blood is a personal decision.
But let me take u to a coaster ride in d bible starting from the creation of man. God after creating Adam gave him the instruction to eat evry fruits and vegetables only but later it was after the flood of Noah's day that God gave Noah to eat animals for it to serve as food but he told noah an exception(Read Genesis 9:4)from the Holy book. He told noah that he ought not to eat Blood. U may ask why? God the creator of life well knew that the life of a flesh is in its blood(Read Leviticus 17:10,11,14) that was why he also gave the Israelites that command to abstain from Blood. The israelites when they have to kill any animal will make sure that they allow the blood of the animals to be out properly. They ought not to eat animals that are strangled. Some may reason, the command to abstain from Blood is only found in the Old testaments of the Holy book(BiBlE) but that is not the truth. During the days of the Apostles, there was a decision taken by the apostles of Jesus christ after prayerful consultations of other parts of the scriptures and was then later conveyed to the Brethrens by paul and barnabbas found in(Read Acts of Apostles 15:29) from the Holy book. There,the brethrens were told to abstain from a number of things and such things includes things strangled and also from BLOOD,that if they do,they will have good health and prosper. But one might rationalize that it can't be possible to eat raw blood, but think of these illustration- Suppose a doctor told u never to drink Alchohol, Would u say that since u re told not to Drink Alcohol but u now go ahead to transfuse it through ur veins? Have u not drank alcohol? Yes u hv done dat. Also most persons that are very weak and can't eat can be given food supplement via their veins or stiil yet given drip. So the command to abstain from Blood involves abstaining from it either taking it Raw or through transfusion. As Jehovah's witnesses, we also value our health more than others do, we totally and conscienciously reject blood transfusion and we also don't accept the four major components of blood. We Jehovah's witnesses have alternatives to blood transfusion and such alternatives has worked completely in most of our patients. We simply approach the Doctors who treat our patients and supply him with informations about such alternatives. In most foreign countries, many Doctors have been performing bloodless surgery and have indeed accepted the benefits of doing that becoz u are not prone to the risk of contacting any viral disease or still yet other health risk associated with Blood transfusion.

Above all, blood is a sacred thing and whenwhen Blood was used in animal sacrifices in the Israelites time did foreshadow the Blood that Jesus christ will shed on behalf of all makind for the redemption of their sins. Thanks for your honest question

Pls point of notice, we don't request stipends for each of our publications. Our preaching work is supported by voluntary donations if u choose to, and most of these donations comes from Jehovah's witnesses because we value our work and highly cherish it. So if we accept donations from the public if only u wish to donate and not under compulsion or grudgingly. We are very interested in people getting the knowledge found in God's word the bible and not on mainly donations. If u don't wish to support the preaching work and u are really interested in reading any of our publications whether voluminous or not, u can always have it. Thanks
