Brother, you are stretching it.
No SE city/ town can hold a candle light on Enugu, none! And that's puting it mildly.

owerri doesnt look like an average Nigeria city, Owerri is interestingly beautiful. I have been there twice.

Isoko of 2 local government stretching from Ofagbe to Iyede and Oleh with a population of less than 10000 people, 2 bank branches, no industry.

Urhobo of 4 local government with a population of less than 50000 with Ughelli as the biggest city, skeletal economic activity, army of jobless youth boozing, gambling and cult activities.

What are u smoking?

Why are there more betting outlets in yolobaland than anywhere else in africa?

Why do yoloba youths like gambling?

Artisans alone in one line in Aba trump all the artisans yoloba can produce the living and the dead.

The entire world know Aba is the home of handiwork, so dont ever think of the informal sector.

Its not only Eastern youths that are gainfully employed but if you juxtapose it with West its like an elephant and an ant sitting on a seesaw.

Eastern youths run Eastern economy, Western Youths rule the gambling underworld in west

afroniger:

This is such a dumb comment. Are you saying Igbo youths are the only ones that are gainfully employed just because they rent shops and sit while they wait for customers? Clearly your youths aren't doing so well else they wouldn't be carrying hard-drugs all over the place. Such narrow-mindedness as that which you are displaying is nauseating to say the least. Yoruba have skilled artisans in all works of life so your statement lacks basis. Tailors, mechanics, welders, and other skilled artisans of Yoruba extraction are even more so gainfully employed than you lots, not to mention our graduate professionals. They may not be as loud and you folks but they're certainly handling their business.

One of the major things that interest me about youths in East and West is that

8;00 AM Eastern Youth are already in their businesses.

8;00 AM Yoloba Youths are already in beer palours.

Weekend.
5;00 PM Eastern Youths are in the joints drinking.

5;00 PM Yoloba youths are already in Bet9ja, Nairabet, Merrybet and WGB outlets waiting for final whistle.

Common contents in Eastern Youth wallets are business cards and written phone numbers.

Common sights in Yoloba youths wallets are betting coupons/tickets and randomly written numbers gotten from mad people grin grin grin grin grin

The way we lash at Obiano you will think he is evil while Yolobas here always have field days insulting us for speaking out.
Now go to ogijo and surrounding areas and see how backward the places are, the bad road there is a story for another day but the smoke from furnances of steel companies their is the the worst thing that will happen to any people.

Last month sombody from Port harcourt raised an alarm over the soothes there, Yolobass came here and started insulting them that its because they do vandalizism.
Please go to Ogijo and see that Yoloba people are really dying without any government blinking and eye.

Igbos will talk about erosion in Igboland, yolobas will start insulting them, all the bridges and flyovers abandoned by the government have turned the places to Golgiothas yet Yoloba youths will not say anything.

infact you guys are worst hypocrites one can ever think of

omokab:
I only have interest on your comment as u said your job has taken round the south west but you can't see see any good thing there as the region is backward meaning you are comparing the region ti south east. Thank God the nature of my work has also teken me round the south south east and beyond. Firstly, if you are not tribalisic in nature what concerns you with a south west Governor in term of comparing Ogun state achievement to Anambra stae while not imo state in comparison? Secondly, I know all the bridge you just mentioned and I give kudoos to Obiano but you have to consider the distance and numbers of bridge Amosun is constructing to Obiano. You should as well consider other development projet he embark on at a time and thise he has achieve. You said you igbo critice your leaders but I do not see how you critice former Ebonyi state governor, that spent eight years without any good roads and former imo state governors that have nothing to show for their achievement like the person of acike udenwa just to mention a few. Am not here to argue or comparing but let me tell you the truth I know a lot about south west and south east evenpart nothern part. I have travelled a lot also to the south south. So, stop saying what you don't know here. Focus on your region please.

15 flyovers hahahahahahahahahahaha.

Its not about the size, Borno is bigger than Singapore, Malaysia and Monaco combined so forget the size.

Anambra is not only good of trading but heavy manufacturing, real estate, education, transportation and agriculture. Before you see a poor household in Anambra you must have covered a village in Ogun.

80% of the economic activities in our statet is under our control, we are territorial.

ODVanguard:

You people just seem to feel the need to compare yourselves to Yorubas for validation. Why? What do you know about Ogun state that is 3 and half the size of your Anambra market state that gives you the ballz to come here to talk trash?? Alagbado is in Lagos, not Ogun. Amosun is simultaneously building 15 flyovers in Ogun in both old and new settlements and areas of the state, not to mention the many quality roads, while you people refuse to allow us to hear word over 3 flyover bridges that seems to be the only infrastructural achievement of Obiano worth mentioning. Na wah for you o. You can't even compare the quality of Ogun's bridges and flyovers to that sorry excuse you call flyovers in Anambra that already look as if they are about to collapse. You guys need help, like seriously.

Yes i mentioned Osun because her airport was constructed abroad like Aregbe told us, Ogun rail will go the way of OsunĀ“

i know yoloba leaders like the back of my scrotum. They can lie to haven because a mudu of parboiled rice can do everything for them

ODVanguard:

Osun?? Where did you hear Osun talk about light rail? Osun government NEVER at any time embark on any such project. I can see that you are high and drunk just like your MOU-signing governor, you've probably been drinking too much kai-kai this season. cheesy We will enter January in less than a week from now so shut your fvcking mouth. You are obviously ignorant about the length and breath of Ogun, else you won't have restricted yourself to just the Akute/Alagbole axis, and FYI ALAGBADO IS NOT IN OGUN, IT IS IN LAGOS! Are Anambras the only people in Ogun, Chinese, Lebanese and Indians that have manufacturing outfit there are also coming.

As long as Anambras in Ogun go to their businesses in the morning while yoloba youths in ogun go to beer palours in the morning and betting shops in the weekend no wahala.

You claim others survive in your land but you have the highest number of broke youths living in the own soil.

Yes Ogun will commence the construcyion of light rail the same Osun completed hers abroad and will be installing it .

ODVanguard:
Amosun may have his shortcomings and may be deemed to have under-performed in some ways, but comparing his accomplishments so far in office to your Ugu scammer who specializes in signing useless MOUs that will never see the light of day, is the height of insults. Under the same Amosun, Ogun consolidated its position as Nigeria's Industrial hub, attracting billions of dollars in FDI to the state, even more than her sister state Lagos.

In addition, Ogun will commence its own Light-Rail project next month (January of next year) (this isn't about MOUs here), the deal has already been signed and sealed with the Chinese na to commence am remain. Yet you have the guts to compare the leadership in both states? *Hiss*

To be sincere if you move across Ogun State you will weep for yoloba people.

Go to a Ogijo and see that hellfire is already here in Nigeria, go to Sango and see that Nigeria is finished.
Last month i went to Babcook Univeristy Ilesa, the only light of civilization there is the university. The place is so backward that i nearly run.

Forget all the noisemaking here, my job has really taken me around SW and i have seen it all, the region is backward

Fremancipation:
OP, one thing you have to admire about ndigbo is that we criticize our leaders a lot and hold them to very high standards because we hate incompetence. This is done out of love and the need to see them do better.

We don't sweep things under the rug or hide our shame as our counterparts do in the west. We lay everything bare in pictures so that it will force the needed change in our society. This is how things get better.

Criticism of obiano is not because he is not doing well, we just want him to do better. Lets rid ourselves of Nigerian lows standards of governance.

Anambra people criticize Obiano for not completing Awka and Onitsha hotels but yoloba urchins keep mute yet their fooolish leaders litter their states with abandoned and substandard projects.

Aroma Flyover = Completed.
Years in Office = First term only 2 years and some months.

Amosun.
Alagbole Flyover = Abandoned.
Akute Flyover = Abandoned.
Alagbado Flyer = Abandoned.
Years in Office = 4years first term completed, second term a year and 8 months.

Yet Obiano is considered by Ndi Anambra as a failure, Amosun is considered by Ndi Yoloba as the best thing after sliced bread.
