IPOBs venting there anger because The Government truncated the excesses of their criminal Terrorists hooliganism under Nnamdi Cownu.

They expect the generals who fought the Biafran war to just sit down and watch them undo what they gave their lives to achieve. Only people like Atiku , whose life as a customs officer didn’t require any sacrifices , can now talk about Biafra and restructuring bla bla bla ....

If they were allowed to fly and something happened now they would blame the government. Why can’t they go by road if they were serious? Makurdi is only 3 hours drive from Abuja.
I wonder why the PDP Government allowed Patrick Yakowa’s helicopter to fly despite the well know security risk.

“THE LESSONS FROM EKITI AND AYO FAYOSE.

By Mr Abasifreke Idiong

If there are any lessons I would like to share with you from the long drawn melodrama in Ekiti that culminated in victory for Dr Fayemi of the APC, today, one of them is the fact that majority of Nigerian voters are not on Facebook and twitter and so don't even read your media propaganda and hate campaign!

Second, there is always a limit to brashness and political brigandage!

Third, many Nigerians may be hungry, but stomach infrastructure isn't the solution, by and by. Empowerment is.

In many ways, Ekiti embodies a litmus test, a harbinger for what the nearest future holds for elections in Nigeria.

I hold no sympathy for Fayose. He shot himself in the foot. I can only wish that his coterie of admirers and cheerleaders help him serve his imminent sentence when the time comes, for for every action there must be a reaction. His failure to install his stooge of a deputy will come with far-reaching ramifications. Dire consequences. And for him, it's about when, and not if!

PMB may be no saint, but that office demands some esteem.

Fayose bought media space in several Nigerian mainstream newspapers saying PMB will die and you clapped, cheering him on.

He told anyone who cared to listen PMB wear
pampers, and you popped champagne!

He generated a fake report about PMB alleged
prostrate cancer from ABU teaching hospital, and you went all bonkers.

He boldly wishes PMB death while in hospital in
London. He said he is in possession of the pictures, and you claimed to have had same sent to your device!

He called the wife of the president a looter, and dared
her to travel to America. She did, and you smarted back in amazement.

He insulted the president, calling him names,
incompetent and the worst thing to happen to
Nigeria and you concurred.

He refused to welcome Mr President to the Ekiti he built, but
chose to welcome a mere envoy, and you asked the barman for more bottles.

He mounted road blocks on the stretch of road which would have been shorter for PMB to access the campaign ground, and you said the President has met his match!

He chose to play the clown just to spite Mr President. And you drummed.

No day passed without the man pouring his venom on
the exalted office of the President. Yet PMB never answered him, privately or in public. Civility!

In case you never knew, Mr Fayose is today a goner, a gone man. But before natural justice catches up with him, I feel duty-bound to remind him that PMB is not dead, to the glory of God!

His fate now will now be decided by this man he wished evil.

Get ready, Sir, cos the chicken has come home to roost!”

Lol this one thinks the problem is actually about grazing and cattles ..first and foremost Buhari will not all anybody compete with his brothers in the unregulated cattle business that pays the Fulanis well just the way it is ...secondly it's never been about grazing but aboutout a Jihad which Fulanis only use proceeds from cattle sales to fund ...
Brainless and illogical post.

If not for the blockade of eastern Nigeria by the British n the steady supply of cash, weapons, medical toolkits n mercenaries by the British n her allies, Biafra would not just win the war, but win in record time.
If not, if not , if not, if not , if not, if you are not foolish you wouldn’t even allow the war to happen.

“THE IGBO TRIBE AND ITS FEAR OF EXTINCTION

The Igbo tribe is in a serious problem and danger of extinction for the following reasons:

50% of Igbos are born outside Igbo land. Meaning that those children are not likely to live and work in Igbo land and cannot speak Igbo language but foreign language (Yoruba, Hausa, French, English).

40% of Igbos girls between the age of 25 & 45 are single with no hope of marriage because 35% of Igbo boys live overseas and they have all married white ladies.

75% of Igbo youths leave Igbo land every year in search of opportunities in Yoruba, Hausa land or overseas.

85 % of Igbos have family houses and own investments outside Igbo land. They strongly believe in one Nigeria but failed to know that NO Yoruba or Hausa man has a family house or investment in Igbo land.

Igbos are the only people who believe that living outside their land is an achievement.

Igbos are the only tribe that celebrate their tradition outside their land e.g. Eze Ndi Igbo, Igbo Village in America and this is because they have family homes in foreign lands.

Igbos have failed to know that the children you have outside Igbo land especially overseas will never think of living in Igbo land. So what happens to the properties you are building for them when you are gone?

Igbos are the only tribe who see their land as a place to visit or a tourist site than a place to work and live.”

franchasng:
nobody is talking about war. And if at all u guys think it must be war, then let me give u some facts why the war won't be as consuming as it was on Biafra side in the 1967 - 1969 war:
1. In 1967 - 1969, Hausa, Fulani, Idoma, Birom, Gambari, Nupe, Yoruba, Kanuri ( that is Lagos, Kano, Kaduna, Adamawa, Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Jigawa, Taraba, Borno, Yobe, Oyo, Osun, Edo, Ondo, Ogun, Ekiti, Abuja, Katsina, Sokoto, Niger, Nasarawa,) + Britain + Egypt + small Russian assistance joined force to fight against small Biafra made up of Imo, Anambra, Abia, Enugu, Ebonyi, Akwa-Ibom, Rivers (some part joined Biafra others refused), Delta, Cross River, Bayelsa, and the war lasted for close to 3 years and would have lingered further if not for the change of currency that made it difficult for Biafrans to buy food reliefs from the international community which led to the starvation of hundreds of Biafra children making some Biafra stakeholders to coerce Ojukwu to surrender.
Now imagine another war, I am sure u know that;
1. Britain won't join any side cos Britain right now is shaking economically and militarilyhuh
2. Middlebelt (Benue, Kogi, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Kwara, Plateau) won't join any side because their eyes have opened to Hausa-Fulani hatred for them and their usual deceit for political gains of Hausa-Fulani alone.
So who will fight stand against Biafra if another war u are calling for breaks outhuh Of course Yorubas won't fight because they won't have the gut to fight with Hausa-Fulani knowing fully well that if Igbo leave, Niger Delta leaves and Middlebelt stay neutral, Hausa-Fulani will roast Yoruba alive, hope u know thathuh
So stop calling for war. If Nigeria refuses to work as one, let us try peaceful division and see if it will work for us okayhuh You hate Igbos yet u don't want them to leave u, what kind of wicked love be this nahuh Na wa o
Empty threats, who is stopping you ? Begin de go now. When Hausa boys gave you 3 months to leave north , you and your chiefs were going from one Emir to another begging to be allowed to stay. You have no shame.

This is to tell you the level of attention the whole world is giving to this election!!

This is not 2014 or whatever like the zombies have been salivating about....You can only be rigged(there was no rigging in 2014 to even start with) and peacefully govern if the people truly wants you!

But in a situation where you are despised by the same people you want to govern and you still want to become a governor forcefully....Then be ready to pay with your life!!

Our Vote must and will surely count here in Ekiti

Anybody planning to rig election here in Ekiti be it Fayose, Buhari, Fayemi, Akeredolu, Amosu, yeye Bello, the randy IGP;will be put to sudden and painful death by the gods of our land and our ancestors!!

This letter from Shehu Elkanemi of Borno to Sultan Mohammed Bello in January 1824 contains a clear message to all Nigerians.....my gratitude to Aminu Gamawa of Harvard Law School for sharing......

Letter From Sheikh Of Borno To Sultan Mohammed Bello
Dated 23rd of Rabee-ul-thani, 1238; (Corresponding to January, 1824)

Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be unto the Apostle of God (Mohammed).

To the honoured and accomplished, the virtuous and munificent, the pattern of goodness and the standard of benevolence, head of the Soodanic kingdon, and ruler of the country of Hausa, our friend, the learned Mohammed Bello, son of the intelligent sheikh Ossman, whose soul may God shelter with the clouds of mercy and peace.

Our salutation, accompanied with affection as strong as the odour of musk, and as perpetual as the movement of the globe, and with the mercy and blessings of God, be unto you.

Hence, the cause of writing this letter and the purpose of its lines, is to acquaint you that the bearers are English travelers; whose nation, out of all the other Christians, has maintained with the Mooslemeen uninterrupted treaties of religious amity and friendship, established since ancient periods, which they inherited from their forefathers and ancestors; and on this account, they penetrate into Mooslemeen countries whenever they please, and traverse all provinces and lands in confidence and trust, without fear. They came to our country, sent to us by our virtuous and accomplished friend, the Lord Yousuf Pasha, master of Tripoli, to see and delight themselves with the wonders of the Land of Soodan, and to become acquainted with its rarities, as lakes, rivers, and forests (or gardens) ; equal to which are seldom seen in other countries.

After having accomplished their wishes, in seeing all the things that the land of Barnooh (Borno) and its environs contained, they felt anxious to visit your country from what they heard of the innumerable wonders therein. I have, therefore, permitted them to proceed on their journey, accompanying them with letters which explain their object.

You are well aware of what is stated in Alcoraanic sayings upon the subject of the obervance of honour, dictated by our Lord, the Apostle of God; and that the true Mooslemeen have always avoided shedding the blood of Christians, and assisted and protected them with their honour. Be then attentive to these travelers, and cast them not into the corners of neglect; let no one hurt them, either by words or deeds, nor interrupt them with any injurious behavior: but let them return to us, safe, and may the high God bestow upon you the best reward for your treatment to them, and insure to us and to you the path of righteousness for conduct in this life.

Our salutation may be given to all who are about you, and to those who are related to you in general. And peace be unto you.

(Sealed)
