Know the "Word of God", you say. Yet who doth know those words? Are they not mere bread, that which alone one must not live on? Or idols even, the finger, and not the moon it points to? The Gospel itself is mere baby school, and is given to some (well, given to all, as they say in communion, but understanding, to some). "Know God", I think, would be more appropriate.

I find that all words are godified when holy breathe is breathed into them. Otherwise, they are just like mud, or blots of ink on a piece of paper or unintelligible sounds like those made by babies - meaningless and rather ineffective. That's why one must not limit ones understanding to the letter of the word, but look behind the veil, and pull it down if one can. There really ought to be no more "we are not worthy to go up the mountain and be in the presence of the gods". For the holy spirit of comprehension and understanding has been given to all to go up themselves and see God through the Son.

And I do find that satan is a master at evolving. It takes the approach of the bird that has learned to fly without perching because the hunters shoot better with better guns. Once you think you know satan's tricks, it gets new ones. Probably why the words are "not flesh and blood", but the "rulers, the authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms". As Sun Tzu says, "Never underestimate thy enemy", or thy friends, for that matter! One must learn more about satan's ways so ones armour and shield would be more effective. In fact, perhaps we atheists should be arguing that satan, as opposed to gods, is not real!

I don't agree. The Church of England was the last organisation to fully adopt the 2010 UK Equality Act, an act to abolish discrimination due to
being or becoming a transsexual person, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant or on maternity leave, disability, race including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion, belief or lack of religion/belief, sex and sexual orientation. They were fighting to retain the right to discriminate as their God told them they should. If it wasn't the nation's church, no one would have cared really, but CoE doing Jerry Falwell? Is it not ungodly to fight against the abolishment of these discriminations? Or should the CoE be the ones to throw the first stones so they can continue with their bigotry? Where is the Jesus in that? Yet, in the same church were those who wanted the church to sign up to the act, and the battle played out over years till the anti-discriminators finally won out. The church appointed its first female bishop in 2014!

As for turning ones children into drug addicts, I blame the Christian parents myself, for if they had bothered to bring their child up in the path they wished it to walk, it less likely would have departed from it!

Well, i think the belief that no one can fight for or defend God is largely misunderstood. Fighting for God is not the same thing as defending ones faith. As Christians, we are enjoined to defend our Faith.

I watched a video (Real Life) of a girl who submitted her speech for screening or editing before the D day (the school authority needed to make sure she won't mention Jesus, it was against the rules as the financiers were atheists. They didn't want Jesus getting mention in a school they sponsored). The Girl said nothing, on the D day, she pulled out her original speech instead of the edited one and began reading, the Mike was disconnected and she was silenced. The mike didn't come altho she read her speech to the end, but was not heard.

I sometimes wonder what evil Jesus Christ really committed to be hated so much. What did he do?

About 150 years ago, there was a great revival in Wales, England.
As a result of this, many missionaries came from England to northeast India to spread the Gospel.
The region was known as Assam and comprised hundreds of tribes.
The tribal communities were quite primitive and aggressive.
The tribesmen were also called HEAD-HUNTERS because of a social custom which required the male members of the community to collect as many heads as possible.
A man’s strength and ability to protect his wife was assessed by the number of heads he had collected.
Therefore, a youth of marriageable age would try and collect as many heads as possible and hang them on the walls of his house.
The more heads a man had, the more eligible he was considered.

However, One Welsh missionary finally succeeded in converting a man, his wife, and two children.
This man’s faith proved contagious and many villagers began to accept Christianity.
Angry, the village Chief summoned all the villagers.

Moved by the Holy Spirit, the man sung his reply,
“I have decided to follow Jesus. No turning back.”
Enraged at the refusal of the man, the Chief ordered his archers to arrow down the two children and they did.

Since time immemorial man has wondered as to the purpose of his existence and its relation to reality. We as humans, sentient beings capable of higher thought are born with an intense desire to discover and understand the nature of reality and our place within it. The great philosophers of ancient Greece, the wise men of the orient and the elders of the tribes of Africa have all wrestled with these questions each group coming up with their own answer, appropriate for their time.

With the arrival of quantum physics, we are now able to observe, and analyses physical systems at an atomic level with staggering revelations which we are only beginning to understand, the effect of mind on matter as seen in the double split experiment being just one of them. Despite these scientific breakthroughs we are unable to answer the golden question “why” We have come up with complex mathematical equations to explain natural phenomena, equations that often times have little or no basis in reality. Perhaps it is time we look back to the ancients for guidance.

There probably is an underlying purpose to existence, a method to the madness so to speak, but from an anthropocentric perspective maybe life’s purpose can only be discovered by living it. The universe is alive, breathing and eternal, any attempt to understand it/he/she through logical thinking alone is fallacious. The universe expresses duality in all things and as such its nature cannot be exempt. Though it may operate partially on precise laws, there is always an unpredictability principle at play. Imagine gaseous expansion within a container. It is easy to predict that the gas will expand in all directions but nearly impossible to predict the movement of a single atom within the gas.

Understanding the nature of the universe will require much more than just advancements in material science, it will require a quantum leap in thinking. This is because the universe at its foundation is immaterial, mind before matter. It has been noted recently that objects once thought to be solid are actually full of empty space, the illusion of solidity is generated by an energy field inherent to all physical objects. The atoms which constitute all matter are in fact 99% empty. In addition to this the nucleus of the atoms traditionally known to contain protons and neutrons has been further subdivided into six different sub atomic particles and I predict further sub-divisions in the future. Wavicles, energy constructs capable of alternating form between a classic particle and waveform are now the dominating theory.

Now that it is known that waves can be condensed into matter and vice versa, It should be easier to entertain the beliefs of the ancients who thousands of years ago understood that all matter comes forth from the realm of spirit, an ethereal plane finer than gases. These ancient people through psychonautic expeditions and a healthy dose of critical thinking had reached a profound truth of which we are only beginning to understand.

So, what is the purpose of man existence? to say something has a purpose is to say its exists to fulfill a function given by something greater than itself and this is true for man to an extent. We were created to act as nodes of experience that is to act as vessels through which certain events and activities may be experienced by Universal mind, in this capacity we may be seen as mere instruments. However, to fulfill this purpose, we also carry within us the divine spark, we are children of God to use Christian terminology and as such we are inheritors of he’s or her power and can act in a sovereign capacity as well. Here duality expresses itself again, the duality of sovereign and slave, pre-destiny and freewill.

In the end life is what you make it, it all up to you really, there is no wrong way to live your life, each experience is unique and precious to the universal mind. No one is useless and nothing is useless. Whether you choose to direct your life, or decide to live that to someone else is completely your choice and is completely fine. So, what is the purpose of life? well YOU ARE ALREADY LIVING IT!

thats not a prophecy for today but about what happened to jerusalem and judah long ago.. God was not happy with the children of jerusalem and judah and hence his judgement came upon them. so their warrior and men were dying in battle and otherwise....and there was a short fall in men. so the women left at the time would approach a man or one man as the case may be and ask that he marries them just to have children or offsprings. hence they opted that they would cater for themselves and do everyother thing; that the man should just have make them bear children.

At the time you talked about, was Judah scattered into different Nations of world?

Yes, Judah was sent to Babylon as exiles and was restored back to Jerusalem. And. scared again in 70 AD. But the Nation of Israel was scattered into different Nations of o the world long before Judah went into exile in Babylon and was not restored back until 1946.

The Nation of Israel went into exile to the Kingdom of Assyria, while Nebuchadnezzar took Judah as exiles. While, the Nation if Israel was still exiles in Assyria, Assyria lost grip of it's power and fell under Babylon.

Meanwhile the Assyrian King had relocated the Jews into the hinterlands of Assyria far away from Israel while relocating Assyrians to Occupy the land of Israel. When Assyria fell. the exile Israelites escaped but couldn't go back to their land, but scattered more into Eastern Europe, migrating deeper and farer into other Nations. that's how they got lost. All these is in fulfilment of Jeremiah's prophecy.

When Christ was born, it was only Judea which was around that axis, no Israel. But again, YHWH said, Israel shall be Restored as Jesus came, He sent His disciples to take the Gospel to the Lost Sheep of the House of Israel.

The Lost Sheep of Israel were in Europe basically. then later America and other parts of the World. Hence, the Gospel in those places.

They are still prophecies that'll be fulfilled. The Temple is yet to be rebuilt, daily sacrifices hasn't began yet again. It shall come to pass.

The Nations of the Earth have not risen against Israel yet, when that happens then Ezekiel 35, 36, 37 and 38 will come to pass. Are you watching the events unfolding in the world today? Look at the actions of the UN towards Israel. Look at how Islam is gaining grounds to move the world to want to help them crush Israel? Wait and see, it won't be long now.

It all revolves around Israel.

The mesage is 'Jerusalem shall be Restored', a prophecy getting fulfilled in our days.

Who is a brethren? Who did Christ say a brethren is? Someone who is active in Church but when you get close to them, their character is opposite of what the Master requires? Not trying to be judgemental or anything,( I have my own issues), but Sis, Being like Christ is what being a brethren means.

The Word "Worship" is completely misunderstood today. No unbeliever can worship God, as Worship is not going to Church, neither is it being active in Church. Worship is not music or gospel songs. It is not prayer or a mood you get into. All of these are part of worship, but not all of it.

Worship is a way of life, and it's done in the Spirit. If a man marries his wife in the way of the Lord, he just worshipped God. When they have sex, they worship God. When you walk in peace with people around, when you love, give, forgive, go to church, read your Bible, lift your hands in a heartfelt praise, help an elderly man/woman cross the road or carry their goods for them, when you visit the orphans and help the widows, give to beggars. When you win a soul, when you give to the advancement of the Kingdom. When you pray and intercede for the Lost, When you pray for the missionaries in the field, when you greet your neighbour with a heart of love, when you squash pride, anger, arrogance, revenge, stubbornness, rebellion, malice etc, you have Worshipped God whose name is YHWH.

Jesus said to the Samaritan woman, "Those who Worship God must do so in Spirit..." The Spirit He meant there is not the Holy Spirit. Your own Spirit which has been made alive by the Holy Spirit.

Being Born Again, is being made alive in the Spirit by accepting Jesus, without which you can not connect with Him. How then can an unbeliever worship Him?

The heart (Spirit) of Worship is a surrendered Spirit. Worship is Surrender. And no one can worship God without first surrendering to God. If you can't Trust Him, you can't surrender to Him. If you don't know Him, you can't surrender to Him.

If someone is in Church but his/her heart is far away, how can that person be said to be worshipping God?

So many have a relationship with the House of God, but don't know the God of the House. They only know of Him, but don't really know Him personally.

Sis, you are wrong. To be a Christian is to be a little Christ. He said He will go to His father, but will not leave us comfortless, He will come back, but this time the world will not see Him anymore, only the faithfuls, because He will live in them (The indwelling of the Holy Spirit).

Can you be like Christ but not born again? I think what you are trying to say is, Church goers go to church but their minds are far away from Christ.

The Bible says about such people;
Good News Translation Isaiah 29:13

The Lord said, “These people claim to worship me, but their words are meaningless, and their hearts are somewhere else. Their religion is nothing but human rules and traditions, which they have simply memorized.

Now, here is their lot;

Good News Translation Isaiah 29:14
So I will startle them with one unexpected blow after another. Those who are wise will turn out to be fools, and all their cleverness will be useless.”

The Master also quoted Isaiah in Matthew 15:8 to those who pretend to follow Him, but are not.

You are either His servant/disciple or you are not. You can't be here and there. To the 5 Foolish virgins (Altho virgins,) He said to them, depart from me, I know you not. Remember they were also in Church, they were waiting for the return of the Master, They had lamps, they were virgins, yet they were locked out with the Master saying 'I know you not'.

To those who used the Spiritual Gifts He gave to them for Ministry of the saints, to Make merchandise and Milk the Sheep instead of Feed them, He'd say, 'Depart from me you workers of iniquity, I know you not'.


He says, My sheep hear my voice and follows me, the voice of the stranger they'll not hear.

Anyone who doesn't hear the voice of Jesus, is not the Sheep of Jesus.

'I know my Sheep and i am known of mine', says the Master.

A Christian is someone who has the Nature of Christ in him/her. And to be a Christian you must be born again.


Anyone who just attends Church but not born again, is like a human being spending time in a garage expecting he'd become a Car.
