1bkaye: If being submissive to your partner however way you perceive the term works for you then fair enough, every relationship is different and will thrive off a personally negotiated dynamic. Lol thing is, arrangements like this will likely only work if said woman meets a man who actually makes her feel like he can 'lead' because the problem with this whole submission thing is that a lot of men will push for it without actually being worthy of it. If you take time to read the Op you'd realize that the man doesn't make you do anything. Besides, you, the woman who dates and marries a mediocre should be blamed not the man. Like attracts like. Before you settle to take his ring, find out if he can lead you, cover you, protect you, and provide for you. Most women today Marry the ring instead of the man. They marry his ring, manage to borrow his sperms to make a legitimate child, then back out of the relationship. They remain in the house but not in marriage. A Wise women doesn't go into marriage because all her friends are getting married, not because she is growing old, not because she needs a man to support her financially. A wise woman marries because she is ready. Ready to give up what she can not keep to gain what ahe can not lose. Dont marry for others, marry for youraelf. |

I don't have problems with non christians being feminists True. But today the street has found its way into the church. Christian women no longer agree to what the Bible enjoins. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Awesome Testimony From A Nairalander I Met About Gods Miraculous Intervention! by Anas09: 1:21pm On Sep 13, 2016 |
4everGod: Hello Everyone! Sometime ago i opened a thread talking about how i came to the knowledge of God and became an evangelical preacher of the gospel of Jesus...This is the link to that thread;
https://www.nairaland.com/3221351/how-became-christian-believer-evangelist
I received a lot of Positive feedback both on and offline from Nairalanders who were inspired and blessed by the brief story of my life out of which i took note of about 5 persons whom God specially and specifically met with and dealt with and of this 5 nairalanders i want to talk about one and the reason why i wish to talk about this one is because after God visited her she invited me to her home and i was able to meet with her face to face and her entire family.
Now for those skeptics who say things happen coincidentally i want you to read this testimony with an open mind and for those who believe there is no God or Yahweh does not exist i also want you to clean your dusty spectacles and read this testimony objectively.
Here we go....
After my thread above this nairalander sent me a pm out of the blue that she desired to speak with me as she was on the verge of becoming an atheist due to depression and frustration and i responded so we were able to commence a whatsapp communication.
This is a woman who is married with kids and the husband being a banker lost his Job since February last year and things went from good to terrible for her family. They had no money to fall back on, no business to run, they had a backlog of house rent being owed and also a backlog of school fees being owed and she began crying to God but the more she cried the more her situation depreciated and she became confused and depressed.
Her husband began contemplating suicide and she began running from pillar to post in search of a solution or a way out. She got introduced to Islamic clerics who wanted to do charms for her, She got introduced to people from Olumba Olumba Obu who wanted to initiate her, She got introduced to fetish people who gave her soap to bath with but somehow she refused doing all the things demanded by these people due to her Christian background so while in this state she stumbled on my thread on Nairaland and decided to reach out.
Everyone had turned their backs on their family, no helper, no favour, absolutely nothing. The ironical part was that her husbands entire brothers and parents are all living abroad and doing very well but were unwilling to assist them with anything..Times were tough for them.
When we spoke and she narrated everything to me by Gods leading i gave her a 2 day praise and worship assignment. I told her not to ask God for anything but just to Praise and worship Him and this was after giving her biblical counseling and she agreed to do this along with her husband...i was also going to carry out same assignment with them from my own location at the same time. So we chose 12am to 1am for those 2 days. Just 2 days of uninterrupted worship and praise of God almighty.
Within these 2 days God revealed to them and me the same thing even while we were in different locations. God showed us the problem and showed them that they were on the right path...how?
Remember i said that everyone had turned their backs on them and they had no helper? Well after the very first day she went to visit a friend and as she was leaving that friend sneaked an envelope containing money into her purse without her asking the friend for money...How did the friend know she had a need of money? Plus another friend whom she had not spoken to in a while suddenly paid quite a tidy sum of money into her account with the excuse that she felt LED to do so.
This lady contacted me to share this news and i told her that God was encouraging her and she should carry out the second day and she did and that second day she stopped by a friends store just to say Hi and the friend packaged provisions among other things for her and her kids for FREE! We agreed to carry out this worship and praise session from Friday to Saturday. Now on Sunday the family went to Church and while in Church her Pastor did something that has never been done in their church before. He suddenly announced that they want to reward a family in the church and the only name mentioned was her family and the church blessed them with a bag of rice and some money...wow!
Note that all these happened within and immediately after the worship and praise assignment. Now remember i also said God revealed the problem to them and to me while we were carrying out this assignment and based on the revelation received i told her we would carry out a 1 week praise and prayer program and i prepared prayer points for her.
I also joined them for this 1 week prayer period from my own separate location and we agreed to pray from 1am to 3am daily and we commenced. Remember i said the husbands entire brothers, sisters and parents are all abroad and refused to assist them? Well after the first day of this prayer week the brothers and parents suddenly began calling and calling their phones off the hook to find out how they are doing an if they needed any assistance.
Long story short the house rent being owed and the school fees being owed was settled by his foreign based family who never wanted to help before but then there was still the issue of how the family would be able to survive and the husband would be able to provide continually for his family.
Now this womans father had a property he had been trying to sell for 12yrs...I repeat...12yrs and still within this prayer week out of nowhere a buyer came and said its either that property or nothing and the buyer handed over 18million naira cash to her father....it does not end there. Her father now gave her 4 million naira to do business with and she handed the money to her husband who is now an employer of labour in the agro sector and currently producing PKO (Palm kernel Oil) and loving it.
This is a man who used to be a banker earning a salary that wasnt much but here he is now running an expanding business that generates a profit of 300k daily for him and all this within 1 month of both the praise and prayer programs after over 1yr of struggle and nothing and joblessness today he is a CEO.
Out of Joy she now invited me to her home at Okota and i visited last week and myself and her family rejoiced and praised God together for changing their sorrow to joy and making them a blessing to people within just 1 month.
We had a lot of spiritual attacks and encounters within this period of praise and prayer which are too lengthy to put down here and also if i place the details of these spiritual attacks here it may create distractions and unnecessary arguments so i will leave those out.
For the skeptics...Can you call all these coincidence? For the "GOD DOES NOT EXIST" proponent will you also call it all coincidence or pure luck?
God is still in the business of working out the miraculous and bringing hope to the hopeless...Why not give Him a try and experience this for yourself first hand.
God bless you all

Prov. 14:1. A Wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman pulls it down with her own hands.
This morning i asked the Holy Spirit to teach me to build my home, this is what he taught me.
Qualities of a Wise woman.
1). A Wise woman defines herself: As the man's helper.
2). A Wise woman defines her Status and place as under a man.
3). A Wise woman defines Marriage and her place in it, She recognises that she did not institude marriage, God did. So she obeys God by obeying her man.
4). A Wise woman recognises that Marriage has rules and those rules are binding on her.
5). A Wise woman remembers that it is the man who moved to her home to bring her to his, not her.
6). A Wise woman recognises that its her who takes up his family as hers, his name as hers his siblings as hers, his tribe, nationality and even race as hers, not him.
7). A Wise woman Submits to her Husband irreapective of... The Bible says to marry only in the Lord, but if you disobey this injunction and marries outside of the Lord, whatever you find with and in the man, you live with it.
cool. A Wise woman should not be hash, for she knows that soft words turns away wrath, but grevious words stirs up anger.
9). A Wise woman should not be hard; She knows that the battle is not for the strong. She should not be Pressing, but, Gentle, humble, kind, meek and lowly.
10). A Wise woman knows that the man is naturally egotistic, she watches not to bruise it.
11). A Wise woman does not discuss her husband/marriage with her friends and family.
12). She does not compare her husband with other men she had known.
13). A Wise woman does not talk back when her husband is upset and is talking.
14). A Wise woman controls her anger and does not raise her voice at her huaband. She recofnises that the man is the head of the house and the mouth, eyes ears are in the head. She see, ears and speaking through him
15). A Wise woman knows that Wisdom is mightier than the weapons of War. And ruling her husband is not by power.
16). She knows that if ahe does all the above, Her husbands ATM pin, bank accounts, his heart, and everything will be under her Control. Outsiders will see her as Mumu, but inside, she is the Puppeteer, while the man is the Puppet.
BUT.... THE FOOLISH WOMAN IS A FEMINIST. *takes cover* |

ifenes: Okay okay!
Reincarnation is from the word "Incarnation" Incarnate mean to take up flesh/avatar,and Re-incarnation is an act of doing it again. The act of repeating a stage of existence or a parallel is an atribute of a Spirit/Atom
Spirit
All things are Spirit vibrating at different frequencies.Your body is solidified Spirit or crystallized Spirit. For better scientific understanding, lets call it "Electromagnetic energy"
VOODOO
This is a permission slip. Just like Ifa,it is the manipulation of energy field which has been perfected by a voodoo expert. It is similar to a pianist perfecting the piano art.
It is not a negative tool as it has been painted by inferior religion, who did that out of fear. Voodoo is natural and should be studied for the common good of man.
Due to its negative picture,it has been left to the hand of the illiterates who do not know they are handling what I call "Advance Alchemy" Ifeness. You are confused |

amicable09: Lol. Your use of words gan! I don't how to start with that Sarah gave her husband her maid to Bleep cos that's so so harsh Sarah had a maid. Yes. She had no child. Yes. Permitting her husband to have children through her maid was just the right thing to do for a woman her age who had lost faith in the promised heir coming through her. It wasn't like she had Isaac already and still went ahead to ask Abraham to go into Haggai. Read the bible, after her, there were other women who did this too. I also know that where I come from, a woman who is unable to have a child of her own, marries a younger lady for her husband just so as to continue the lineage.
Who are the daughters of Sarah? Really ? Will you also ask me who the sons of Abraham are? If you won't then you have the answer.
Oh Shoot! I just saw clearly where you typed 'God' with a small letter 'g'. I'm done! Can't reply further. You could write Adam's name with a capital A but God with a small letter G. I suspect that You intend to mock the person of God if it was deliberate. So I won't push it. My dear women are still bringing in ladies for their husbands to lay with and have kids through them. My very close friend is a product of this. Her mum was married by another woman for her husband because she couldnt have her own children. All the kids her mum had were the Woman's Children, they never saw their biological mother as their mum until that woman died. They all called their biological mum by her name, but the other woman was mummy to them. Till today, they still see their Mum like their Nanny. And these old folks werent Christians as we know it today. Its still happening here today, now. |

Lennycool: You really should read more. Most of the early missionaries in Nigeria were from england. After Nigeria became colonized, it helped spread Christianity throughout Nigeria. They're judging england for Appointing a gay bishop, like there form of Christianity is on a higher ground. I think you should read more. Spreading Christianity is not the same thing as giving us Christianity. Everyone who recieves christianity is mandated to spread it, it doesnt matter who does it. Just spread it. They Did not appoint him as a gay, they ordained a man whom they didnt know was gay. Get your facts right. The man was gay but hid it for long until now. When men slept the enemy went into the field and planted Tares. And how do we know them? BY THEIR FRUITS. |
