A man identified simply as Davy, died during a sex competition with a commercial sex worker in a brothel in Ejigbo area of Lagos.

Report had it that the deceased checked into Graceland Brothel located at 21, Moshalasi Street, Ejigbo Lagos, after having a bet of N50,000 with one of the commercial sex workers, Amaka, on who would surrender first from the sex competition.

A friend of the deceased who spoke on the condition of anonymity, disclosed that trouble started after the deceased had boasted among his friends that he could spend two hours on a lady without getting tired. He added that while the conversation was on , one of them dared him to challenge Amaka, the commercial sex worker, who was described as a champion in the game.

Amaka as gathered, had challenged some young men in similar competition and won. However, during Davy’s trial with her, he reportedly slumped while on the ‘seventh round’.

When contacted, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Elkana Bala, described the incident as a Sudden and Unnatural Death, adding that it occurred at about 12.45am on Sunday.

Some angry youths on Wednesday burnt down Sotitobire Miracle Church in Akure Ondo state

The church was set on fire after the corpse of a year old boy declared missing in the church some week ago was exhumed.
Founder of the church, Prophet Alfa Babatunde has also been arrested.

He is reported to be currently in the custody of the Department of State Security(DSS) in Akure, Ondo State capital.

The woman’s husband had placed a charm, popularly known as Magun which literally means “do not climb.”The charm has been used for centuries to catch a wife who has an extra-marital affair or to put a promiscuous woman in check.

The man had been suspecting his wife was involved in extra marital affairs so he went ahead to put the charm on her.

According to the husband, he called one of his friends in Benin republic, who introduced him to a native doctor. The charm was pretty effective as the lady and her lover got stuck and caught in the act.

A twitter user identified as Tola reported saying a a newly wedded couple have committed suicide due to unpaid wedding debt.

She added that bride committed the suicidal act three days after the wedding and the groom drank sniper and died on the seventh day.

“A lady was indebted after wedding and killed herself after 3 days, the husband drank sniper too and he’s dead now. Today makes it 7 days after wedding. I’m still in shock!!! On Friday, December 6th, Nigerian singer, Orezi was involved in a car crash on the popular Third Mainland bridge in Lagos.

In a chat with LIB, the singer explained that he was rushing to meet up with a morning flight to Delta State for a performance so he took an Uber at about 5:30am in the morning and all of a sudden he woke up to a crash on Third Mainland bridge.

According to him, 'I was seated at the back when it happened and it seems i crash my jaw into the front seat so I lost consciousness and was just bleeding from everywhere. I still managed to make the flight after i got first aid but I'm fine now'.

Bishop David Oyedepo, the founder and General Overseer of Living Faith Church a.k.a Winners’ Chapel who made headlines days ago after speaking out against the controversial hate speech bill, is on the news again after a photo of his alleged bodyguards went viral.

Oyedepo was spotted in the viral photo, surrounded by 9 men as he preached at his church’s annual programme ‘Shiloh’. The photo ignited mixed reactions as some social media user claimed the men are his bodyguards, while others defended the church leader; stating that the men are ushers stationed at the altar to control the crowd.

Twitter user @iam_Chisco1 who first shared his observation, tweeted “9 bodyguard protecting Bishop Oyedepo right in the alter of God…I wonder who he is actually afraid of when Jesus is by his side.”
