Don Riley: Hello house.I was @ cdhc this morning.After submitting my inquiry form and waiting for a long time,I got a call from a lady with a sexy voice.She gave me the usual line,'still on processing'.I asked her what date are they working on n she smiled and told me they now on May 23rd. She even informed me that my application was received on May 24th from vfs.Before she called,I got a call from my sponsor that he received an email message from cdhc that he shld send them his account and passport details again.I asked d lady about the method of submission and she said I shld bring the hard copy of the details when I av them. Please the great ones in the house, what can u advise ?

Onye oma: From the little av learnt so far about CDHC's processing of applications, @ dis point in time, they're now rushing to clear their table for FALL applicants (and as such starts coming up with funny/unrealistic reasons for denial) and start up with WINTER/January applicants(which the medical instructions should commence any moment from september)...

I'll advise you get in touch with ur school, tell them you're ok with the arrangement and request that they also make the embassy know about the latest development. This will make them seperate ur file from CORE september applicants and treat it accordingly. Don't wait for them to call you for medicals cos the opportunity might/might not come up...

That being said,I still strongly assure our FALL applicants not to loose hope...what God has destined must surely come to pass...delay is not denial...this week still has 4 working days left and a second is more than enof for God to surprise us in His Divine ways...

Just got back from VFS now.
I ve ben refused again make it 2nd time.
They gave the following excuses:
1. Insufficient fund: after I ve paid ♏γ̲̣ tuition fee and a bank statement of 2.5m.
2. Sponsor not credible:
Really don't understand cos I dnt tell them anybody. Will sponsor me-
First, ♏γ̲̣ employer will pay ‎​♍ε̲̣̣̣̥ half salary cos I doing a course inline wt ♏γ̲̣ job.
Secondly, a family friend will be taking care of ♏γ̲̣ accomodation and feeding during ♏γ̲̣ study.

Really don't understand.

Please advice.

latra: My good pple I submitted on the April 17th and all this while it has been like hell waiting endlessly for a call for Medical but to no avail, just yesterday here I even tut of going to CDHC to make a an inquiring abt my application. Behold just this morning at about 11:40am I saw an email alert from CDHC asking me to proceed without delay for medical examination.... I can't shout please can u help me shout GOD IS GREAT!!!

I got a mail in my CIC box today and i was refused. All in all I thank God and will not be applying again. My deal with God was- i will apply only once and if i am to go they will give me and my family at once. I was refused based on the following grounds,

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident.
In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:
Your travel history
Purpose of visit
Your current employment situation

I have travelled to the UK about 7 times, the US twice, Netherlands, Kenya, Dubai and have a valid US visa on my passport which will expire early 2015. i have not stayed in any country beyond 12 days. All my kids and husband have also travelled to the UK and US at least twice each, not staying beyond 12days. (my three kids are under 5years. i and my husband both have very good paying jobs. and he was to start his Ph.D in 2014.

Anyways, long story, bottom line- we were refused.
We had about 5million cash in our combined account, school fees had been paid, about 3 houses and 4 landed property on the island etc and we scanned all the documents, my pay slips - abt 500+ net monthly etc.

I will however like to encourage everyone still waiting that your prayer at all times should be let Gods will be done, if Naija is where you will live ur success, no matter how bad the country is, you will make it and if Canada is where your success lies, then may the Lord lead you there. Amen.

azeezwl: In my own opinion, Birth Cert. is not obligatory, afterall it is not stated in the required docs they needed you to submit, nobody will querry you for not sibmitting your birth certificate .

ancient1: Hello all, i just want to know how to answer the questions on the application form in section 4 regarding details of intended study in canada, regarding program costs.

The cost of your studies would be? im going for a 2 year prog...1st year : $22,500, 2nd year: $23,500, do i state the fee for just the first year of add the total fees for both years up making $46,000??

secondly, the Room and board bit: Do i just state $10,000 here since that is the estimate for 1 year or do i double it and state $20,000 for the entire duration??

and finally what figure do you advise i state as funds available for your stay, considering my course fees and duration??

lyfe: @amby147 If you can make your biological parent sponsor you it is cool. The best is you being your personal sponsor. The VOs are not usually down with the Cousin's cousin format.
