Don Riley: Hello house.I was @ cdhc this morning. After submitting my inquiry form and waiting for a long time,I got a call from a lady with a sexy voice. She gave me the usual line,'still on processing'.I asked her what date are they working on n she smiled and told me they now on May 23rd. She even informed me that my application was received on May 24th from vfs. Before she called,I got a call from my sponsor that he received an email message from cdhc that he shld send them his account and passport details again.I asked d lady about the method of submission and she said I shld bring the hard copy of the details when I av them. Please the great ones in the house, what can u advise ?Thats it, i think ill be going to the embassy with the hard copy of my new resumption date i.e nov 1st, and my first year fees payment receipt. I sent these docs by email earlier this week but got no confirmation whatsoever. what do you guys think? |
Onye oma: From the little av learnt so far about CDHC's processing of applications, @ dis point in time, they're now rushing to clear their table for FALL applicants (and as such starts coming up with funny/unrealistic reasons for denial) and start up with WINTER/January applicants(which the medical instructions should commence any moment from september)...Thank you for your insight, i have agreed and the email has been sent to the embassy. |
Hello guys, I applied on the 4th of June and as you can imagine i have not been called for meds. My classes start on the 6th of sept, so with the look of things, its quite obvious i wont be able to make it for that date. However after bombarding my registrars office and my program coordinator with many many emails, i have just been informed that they have decided to grant me an exception by adjusting my program schedule such that i can resume on the 1st of November, (the other alternative would be to defer and join the Sept 2014 intake as the program is run once a year). I have been asked to think about this and if i am fine with it i should inform my program coordinator so she can contact the embassy to say that they are fine with me joining them in November. My question is, Should i go ahead and ask them to contact the embassy now ?, as i am fine with joining in November as opposed to waiting a whole year....or should i wait till i hear from the embassy, that is of course if i am eventually called for meds and then asked to provide a new start date. i know the gurus like dem oga siga are very awake.... i would appreciate your take on this. |
austinebode: Hi guys, really sorry to hear this.....when did you apply pls? |
Chaii!! still on graveyard silence thinz oh......CDHC una nor dey consider man pickin... Heard they are overloaded with applications...everybody won go canada....its an epidemic! |
Onye oma: Elimination strategy by sending you for medicals without attaching any other conditionCorrect me if im wrong oh, so u mean this new elimination strategy is to send out medical instructions and deliberately stay mute regarding payment of tuition so that they can refuse the applicant eventually after medicals for not going ahead to pay..... i do not agree with you at all. |
Nuendo: If that is the case then i think we have a similar case on our hands, Please reply, we could unravel the issue and active pro-actively . PLEASE DOES ANYONE IN THE HOUSE KNOW OF APPLICANTS WHO WERE FINALLY ISSUED TRV's WITHOUT BEING ASKED FOR TUITION AND BOARDDude, If you were not instructed to pay tuition better for you, do not worry yourself about paying it now then. Think of it this way...if you did not know about this thread, would you be worrying yourself about this? This thread is very helpful but you need to be wise enough not let it confuse you. Like someone rightly said..every case is different and is looked at individually. |
Kunsoft: Thanks Babs i thought is either GMAT or GRE. which one did you think is easy to Pass.none |
uchi4jah: Waoh.... Congrats! Jehovah made this finally happen. I know we had more than 2 TRV's this week. Some are still yet to be discovered maybe cos we haven't checked our mails.
Guys I just got my TRV today!!! Saw the message in my CIC account this evening. I was sooo elated. After submitting my passport on the 8th of June. I applied online on the 26th of April.
@uchi4jah: you had better just disclose your identity to the house say u be wolii agba...as soon as u said that u were sure we had more than 2 trvs and that some were still yet to be discovered, the next post by 2chains was that he saw his message this evening. bros u be woliii!!!!! |
uchi4jah: We got five medicals for this week, I speculated upwards of five medicals and upwards of two TRV's.... We expecting the at least two TRV's before the end of this week. The more TRV's and the more medicals, the better. I'm convinced about this. I'm certain about this. I know...Bros i dey officially fear you |

accra2005: Congrats. Pls pray for me too. Submitted since 2nd April.I am sure you would be contacted before the end of the week |

ayaba21: Dear AllWith all that travel history, they still listed travel history as one of the reasons why they feel she would not leave canada at the end of her stay? If she won run , dem no know say she for don disappear for yankee or uk since. You have a solid travel history my dear. It looks like these people are just taking the piss...With all that landed property on the island?,(did you add a valuation?) and they can still refuse for the reasons stated.... e be like say this people dey take us play or maybe they just want her to repackage and reapply, who knows. In other news, somebody pass me the chillpill ojare, make i knock myself out. |
kenniy: or they should just play |
azeezwl: In my own opinion, Birth Cert. is not obligatory, afterall it is not stated in the required docs they needed you to submit, nobody will querry you for not sibmitting your birth certificate .Correct. My birth certificate was actually returned to me at vac when I submitted, dude was like its not necessary. |

galala123: Ah bros. Long time. How are you? Why did you wait so long before submitting?I am fine bros galala (this yur name sha...lol) yes oh UPEI MBA, starting fall... it took me so long cus the school took forever in sending me the unconditional offer letter, they said the fees were to be changed and were not sending out any letters until this was done. i applied at vac |
Policewoman: Why was the boy running if he didn't have anything to hide? Why not just stop, get |
Of late, the police have formed the habit of stopping and harassing young guys driving decent cars, i guess its because of yahoo boys all over the place, agreed they have a reason, but the problem is that as with everything else they have abused the whole thing, now they harass innocent young men as well when they do know the yahoo boys and collect settlement from them regularly. Now infact its like they deliberately target guys they know are clean claiming to be investigating for fraudsters. I cannot count how many times i have been stopped in lagos ; they stop you hurriedly like you are a thief, sometimes chase after yur car, cross you over, block you, raise their guns, make u come down search your boot, search your car, collect your phone, scroll through your messages , then start asking stupid questions and start demanding you follow them to the station for further questioning. At the end of the day na money go end am, the most annoying part is that they are so arrogant in their stupidity cus they know the law doesnt work in this country...they are gradually infringing on our fundamental human rights and that is very unacceptable, they need to be called to order. However, I am in no way justifying the act of speeding off when one is stopped by the police but i am quite sure that these students had got it one too many times from the police and they felt that the only safe haven for them at the time was the university.....but then ofcourse corporal tijani oluwasolape mukaila had to shoot. I can relate to this because im a young guy, not a yahoo boy, yes i drive a decent car, and i have been stoppped so many times i cannot count and it has become so irritating for me. I came to ibadan about 4 weeks ago, i spent 2 days, i was stopped and taken to the station...i refused to give them N1. (They actually know new cars) I must confess i have actually sped off once but they were so desperate that they chased me with a bike and caught up with me because of bad roads, they wanted to take me to the station.... I screamed at them at the top of my voice and created a scene that day, they let me go. NPF please dont give us another reason to detest this country |
@galala123, can u please add me to the list of medical hopefuls for fall, i submitted june 4. Thanks |
why cant a bomb just explode from nowhere and blow them all up. ![]() |
hmmm..I wonder what annie idibia has to say ![]() |
onuawuchi: Go screw your self, you don't sound any thing near appreciative.@onuawuchi: like seriously, i should go screw my self? all because i asked a simple question on nairaland? that to me is an insult and if i remember correctly i never insulted you or anyone else on this forum. I mean, if you have no meaningful contribution or answer to a question it takes nothing from you to keep scrolling down. As much as i am tempted to return the insult, i think ill just leave you to ponder on your stupidity. |
@robbie: Thanks, i have been on this forum since its part 2 although for certain reasons i decided to remain on the quiet side. I have been through part 1-3 a couple times in the past but i wasn't still sure about a particular section on the form which is why i asked the question , anyway i think my doubts have been cleared now. i appreciate your thoughts. Robbie37: @ancient1 like many have advised before me... make out time and read the forum topic's previous parts, 1-3 that is. There's almost no question u wont get an answer to, after reading. |
ancient1: Hello all, i just want to know how to answer the questions on the application form in section 4 regarding details of intended study in canada, regarding program costs.@earthgreeners: thank you. @all: a second opinion from any other person knowledgable about this would be highly appreciated. Thanks |
