Hello nls, If a paper route is linked to an online account, will it still be treated as paper route ? |

mcobex: Pls house, do I still need to legalize(notary public) my sponsor's supporting documents(proof of landed prop, proof of business...)? Or just my education certs? Pls its urgent It is not mandatory u notarize ur document, a lot of applicants on nairaland av gotten their study visa without notarizing, but if u av the money and the time u can go ahead and notarize, it is not a crime either. |

Obiwests: My brother is a Canadian citizen, he's getting married. Documents he sent to me were: 1. Invitation Letter 2. Copy of his Canadian passport 3. Wedding cards 4. Bank Statement 5. House ownership document in Canada 6. Letter from the Church where ceremony will take place
For me, I'm still in the University here in Nigeria, So I only submitted the following documents:
1. Letter from my HOD 2. Admission Letter 3. School Fees receipt from 1st year to 4th year 4. Letter explaining why I must attend his wedding GBAM.....u nailed it, that was what i was actually expecting from u cos u r still in skool and ur brother is a citizen and ready to drop all his documents for u to tender at the embassy, congrats and enjoy ur stay in Canada. |

Obiwests: That's not true. I applied for a visitor visa with a virgin passport. Okay.....pls kindly share the documents u submitted and did u get an invitation letter from a PR, so we can learn from you how u packaged your application. Thank u. I just think someone btw the ages of 24-34 yrs who is single and without no travel history will find it a bit difficult. |

NB: I stand to be corrected, to get the Canada vistors visa u must av huge travel history especially a USA visa on your passport, 98% of people on this thread that got the Canada vistors visa had USA visa in their passport. A virgin passport will not do any magic. |

BABSFREY: Just to drop a note after following for a while.
I did an online visitor visa application for myself and my wife. I submitted Feb 2 and did the biometrics Feb 3. After a long wait, I got a message from them on March 20, that we could submit our passport. I understand that a decision has been made. I did submit our passport March 22. We are now waiting for the message for a final pick up of the passport.
Can anything still go wrong at this point? C'mon today is 23rd of March, barely 24hrs after ur passport submission, just be calm u'll hear from them probably 2mao or after the easter holiday, u already have ur visa in the bag, congrats in advance, i tap from your blessing. Pls share the documents u submitted. |

Bass450: Hello people, i have just received a message from VFS, saying your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa office and is ready for collection.. Only God can tell my destiny... Will be back to share the news... Success is yours. Was it processed in Ghana or right here in Nigeria? |

Bass450: Okay when it comes to visiting visa from 9ja, it varies okay. the VO don't work by the actual processing time okay, it's just prayr's.. Have seen testimonies of people who got there's just in two weeks and othr people have to wait for almost 80 working days for the good news, that's if your package is complete. I get u, but do u realize what 80 working days means that's like 4 months which is equivalent to 120 days. U probably meant 80 days. On most cases visa officers work on the regular stipulated days. |

Bass450: I would advice you apply over there, cause over there in 9ja, it takes over 80 working days.. Hence your package is complete your good too go. You can equally make use of your statement from there, hence you can convince the VO that you can have access to it over there in CA. Pls get ur facts right, it's clearly stated on their website which was recently updated on 8th of March, it takes 61days. So please stop passing the wrong information. Here is a link to confirm http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp |

hayqinsbFX: please can u help me with the number to call for todays rate Here are the numbers 08029002900 or 08039003900 or you can as well contact them on cardservices@gtbank.com. |
Travel › Re: Travelling To Canada Part 9 by andre99(m): 9:46am On Feb 17, 2016 |
hayqinsbFX: hmm...this is not parallel o....parallel is about 212 to a dollar.. You're so right, it's about 207 to 1 CAD, i applied online about some few weeks ago i was charged 38,361 NGN for a 185 CAD transaction from my GTBank MasterCard, i called their customer care to explain why i was charged at the rate of 207 NGN to 1 CAD instead of the 144 NGN CBN sells to banks, all what they told me was that card services payment are different from when u make payment from your bank account. I was advised to always call them before i make use of my MasterCard to know the rate for the day. |
