You keep shooting yourself in the leg, He took them to the finals that he had little or no influence in the final matches. He didn't score in the final neither did he assist. The reason why Argentina hasn't won an international trophy is because Messi hasn't scored or made any assist in the final so they are both even.

In the 2014 world cup Messi led his team to the finals providing most of the assists, scoring 4 times, in Copa America 2015 he led his team to the finals with scoring most of the goals and providing more and same with the Copa America 2016.

Messi is just unlucky and does not have the luxury of having his teammates turning up in finals while Ronaldo hides behind his team's success LoL a big scam.
