mickeyenglish:Hahahaha you made some good points but I still don't care about how good a woman is in the kitchen but that's just me, i know that a lot of men feel differently about the issue. |
Yes I can date and marry a woman that can't cook, that's not important, it's a skill in which she can improve on with time. If she doesn't improve, I'll still stay with her as long as she has a good character that's more important to me than any exceptional culinary skills. |
I didn't watch the match but Real Madrid has embarrassed their own fans at home with this 3-0 loss. |
A good 3-1 away win for Manchester United over a tricky and tough Crystal Palace, that's now 8 straight away wins in a row for Manchester United, a club record I think, I never expected that. |
The funniest part of the match was when the bottlejob spurs defender put the ball into the net past his keeper with that delicate back pass to make it 2-0 to Chelsea. I don't think Tottenham was ever in the title race. They are the pretenders, always throws it away comically when their fans think that they are going to win league or any title for that matter. |
Manchester city wins the EFL cup 4-3 on penalties after playing 0-0 with Chelsea for 120 mins. It wasn't that boring of a match but there was a real drama towards d end of the 30 mins of extra time when Kepa the Chelsea keeper whom appeared injured refused to be substituted. After the extra time, Rudiger has to physically hold back Maurizio Sarri from confronting Kepa. Chelsea then went on loose in penalties when both Jorginho and David Luiz failed to convert their penalties, Kepa did come close to saving Aguero's penalty and saved one penalty from Leroy Sane but it wasn't enough as Raheem Sterling converted d final spot kick to win it for Man City. The disrespect shown by the Chelsea's goalkeeper Kepa is a lil sign of what is going on behind the scenes at Chelsea's dressing room. I've never seen a player refuse to be substituted by his manager before. Are these Chelsea players still obeying Maurizio Sarri's tactics and gameplan during the match? Is that why the Sarri ball has been awful lately which has cost Chelsea some points after they went 18 games unbeaten earlier on in the season? The main question is will Sarri be the Chelsea manager by the end of the season? |
I've never watched a game that had 4 substitutions before half time. I wonder whether Manchester United will finish 11 men before 90mins because Rashford doesn't look ok. Liverpool also has had an injury with Firmino but I think this is their best chance to win at Old Trafford in a long time if they can turn their dominance into goals in the 2nd half. |
izzou:Yeah you are right about that. |
A poor champions league night in terms of goals, both matches finished 0-0, Bayern Munich defended much better than I thought they would but this Bayern Munich is probably the worst Bayern team that I've seen in recent years. Liverpool is good enough to win the 2nd leg or get a score draw which will enable them to go through on away goals. |
Gruvychuky:You might be a woman but you are not in her shoes so you can't really relate with her, all women are not the same. I'm not gonna feel sorry for her having 5 children in 10yrs, it's not a burden or a curse, some women have been barren for more than 10yrs, she should be happy with her 5 children and enjoy her marriage with her husband. |
Gruvychuky:Based on the information he provided, a woman doesn't move from one extreme to another with her other half emotionally and sexually, it's either he's telling us some half truth or she's emotionally out of the relationship which means she's now interested in another man. I would say the same if the op was a woman. I would tell her that her man is sleeping with another woman. |
Ajengogo:She's sleeping with another man. |
Two crosses, two headers and Manchester United lead Chelsea 2-0 away at Stamford bridge. David Luiz didn't pick up Herrera for the first goal and Ruediger didn't pick up Pogba for the 2nd goal. That shocking defending has allowed Man Utd to score 2 easy headers, it's not like Manchester united has been wonderful so far in the game but Chelsea has been very poor defensively. Chelsea has had a few puff and huffs on a few occasions, if Higuain didn't have d speed of my grandmother he would have capitalized on a certain mistake by Manchester United defence and scored from that breakaway. I don't see Chelsea coming back from this one, they are not mentally equipped to come back from 2 goals down and win the match. |
Apination:If Arsenal does not qualify for the champions league either through finishing 4th or above or winning the Europa league he will be sacked, I can guarantee you that. |
Apination:Ozil is not playing because there's no place for an attacking midfielder like himself in Emery's tactics which Emery himself has given as a reason for Ozil's absence on a few occasions so they can lie about him not in the squad is because of his bad back, illness or whatever but the truth of the matter is that the manager doesn't fancy him and Ozil himself knows that so won't give his best for the manager even when he plays. |
I couldn't watch the match because of some certain commitments, just saw the full highlights, what I can deduce from the little that I saw was; (1) Zero creativity and invention in attack. (2) Guendouzi running all over the midfield like a headless chicken, losing possession either by overhit passes, running into opponents or passing directly to them. (3) Iwobi doing just the same as Guendouzi but his own clueless running, lack of intelligent decision making all happened mostly on the left wing where he ran like a headless chicken all evening. There's more of them Arsenal players who were also below par as well like Mkhitaryan and co. (4) Poor game management and defending yet again just before half time for that set piece in which Bate Borisov scored from. Arsenal has conceded a lot of goals at the end of the half this season. Losing 1-0 away with the 2nd leg to come is not necessarily a bad result but losing 1-0 to a poor team like Bate Borisov and creating few chances and barely testing their keeper in the 2nd half is a very poor result. Emery ball and tactics has been dead in the water for a few months now, his gameplan no matter the formation employed is to pass the ball out from the full backs to the wings and create goal scoring chances from cutbacks, there's no other variations that I've seen so far. Arsenal is certainly good enough to score 4 goals at the Emirates against Bate in the 2nd leg and overturn the 1-0 away result but I don't think Emery is good enough as a manager to win the Europa league with this current Arsenal squad. |
Witlee:Yeah maybe you are right but the PSG defender Kimpembe also deserved a 2nd yellow in the match. |
A very bad night for Manchester United. PSG dominated the match and fully deserved their 2-0 win, De Gea also made sure that the scoreline wasn't more embarrassing by stopping a one on one from Mbappe who should have made it 3-0. it's now gonna take a bit of a miracle for Manchester United to turn around the two goal deficit away at PSG in the 2nd leg. I feel that the referee was a bit harsh on dishing out yellows especially on the 2nd yellow and red for Pogba towards d end of match. |
I expected a more interesting 1st half. The game has been a bit nasty sometimes and few players have come close to a 2nd yellow, anyway I expected Manchester United to have more possession and attacking incentive considering the fact that PSG the away team is playing with a depleted team. Kudos to PSG for limiting Manchester United, they are doing a great job so far and looking good for a draw or even a surprise win at Old Trafford. |
Vizzy4u:just contact me beginning of March let's see how far with Manchester United, it's all good now being 4th in the table for the 1st time in 4 months but will be back to 6th by then. I hope your phone will be showing the EPL table by then. ![]() |
I can't remember Chelsea been beaten by 6 goals to nil by any team since I was born, that been said, I think Chelsea played much better at the end of the 1st half after being 4-0 down, they also started the 2nd half brightly but Manchester City gradually came back into the game then won that penalty after Sterling was fouled by Azpilicueta in the box and it became 5-0, from then onwards Chelsea didn't really do anything again in an attacking sense apart from one good run by Loftus-Cheek. I know that Chelsea fans are hurting but I feel that Sarri should be given more time and another transfer window to rectify the problems if the results don't improve by next season then he should be sacked. |
5-0 home win to Huddersfield for Chelsea last week now seems like a decade away, I thought Chelsea players have understood how to play the Sarri ball ![]() |
Another awful performance by Arsenal but they got all 3 points and that's what matters. |
Vizzy4u:I guess you will tell me that Manchester United have finally made progress from 6th to 5th after 2 months? ![]() |
ddooskie:Most times they don't spot it because they can't keep up with the speed of Liverpool's attacks. Liverpool has scored 11 offside goals this season. In an interview after the match Jurgen Klopp said that the referee gave all the decisions to West Ham in the 2nd half because he was trying to level up the game because of Liverpool's offside goal in the 1st half. ![]() |
bluefilm:Another plastic Arsenal fan Why are you supporting Manchester City that just beat you 3-1 yesterday? |
Liverpool were lucky to get a point at West Ham after taking the lead with that offside goal, they nearly scored the winner with d last kick of game with another offside goal but Origi messed up his chance, Manchester City are now just 3 points behind. Liverpool don't look very confident and hasn't played with pace and rhythm this year, they can easily finish 8 points behind Man City by the end of the season if they don't improve. |
Beedude:Sorry I don't listen or watch sports analysis, I watch my own matches and deduce what I've seen from the game, I don't care about the views of Neville and Henry, in terms of Arsenal not winning the Scottish league, teams like Wolverhampton or even Newcastle can win the Scottish Premiership, Arsenal can't win the French league because PSG but will easily finish 2nd in that league. |
kowalsky:I can understand your gripes and pain about Arsenal but you have to watch your team in good and bad times, you don't wanna be one of those glory hunters and plastic fans that only support and watch teams that win titles, they even switch and start supporting another team once their own team has like 2 bad seasons, there's some of my Manchester United friends that are now supporters of Barca and some Real Madrid just because of those poor seasons during Moyes and Van Gaal. Unfortunately I don't think Unai Emery will improve to your expectations, probably some good signings during the summer will improve the team but Arsenal will never challenge for the title with those tactics even if he was given the Manchester City or Liverpool's squad. It's actually quite funny and predictable the way Arsenal's passing out from the back is, even when sometimes a quick counter-attack with 2 or 3 passes forward or a simple long pass could be more dangerous and effective, that passing out from the back at all times allows the opposition to organize themselves and make defending against attacks easier, Arsenal waste of a lot of time in having a precise passing and short passes in their own penalty box but completely useless when the ball finally transits into midfield, most times they even play a hopeless long ball or give away possession right away in the middle once the opponent pressure them, there's no proper attacking game plan or precise passing in the final third, I know Aubameyang has been poor recently but he's not getting the right kind of passes that suits his game style, him and Lacazette are also not making well timed runs or playing deceptive one two's with rythm, everything about their movement is slow and predictable sometimes. The Arsenal defense is poor as u know but the personnel within the defense are not poor defenders, they just need to be more organised, defending as a unit, strikers and midfielders all helping them to block passing lines, recognising danger by better positioning, understanding the runs of their opponents and be mentally switched on at all times. I watched Arsenal's 1st game against Manchester City, the 2-0 loss and the one today, I think Arsenal is even worse today compared to the first game because I thought Unai will look at the shortcomings from d first game and fix things but he didn't not. Arsenal will still finish in the top 4 because I believe that Chelsea and Manchester United are actually worse even though their fans might think otherwise. |
ndidibabe:I'm only seeing Manchester United lucky to get 3 points at Leicester. This Manchester United will certainly be playing Europa league next season. There's still a lot of games to play, Manchester United is not good enough to win points that will guarantee their finish in the top 4. |
Seandisputed:Well..... Manchester City is certainly a better team than Arsenal but Arsenal didn't even get the basics right today in terms of an attacking game plan, this Manchester City is not great, I saw holes in their game today and Arsenal didn't take an advantage even once, they are not as good as the Manchester City of the previous season, another team even worse than Arsenal in the league table will exploit those weaknesses soon. |
xynerise:I know you won't believe it but Arsenal has players good enough to even go 44 games unbeaten, Unai Emery hasn't organised them well enough with a dynamic game plan yet especially in attack and the midfield, that's where the main problem is. |
