European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester City Vs Arsenal At (3 - 1) Live by Andrez123(m): 7:50pm On Feb 03, 2019
Arsenal's attack has been very poor today, which it has been in a lot of matches this season in the Premier league including against poor teams especially in the 1st half of games so far. I know that Manchester City scored 3 goals through Aguero's hat trick but Arsenal defenders are not excellent anyway, Arsenal's strong points are the midfield and the strikers, they performed woefully in terms of an attacking gameplan. I saw a lot of weaknesses in Manchester City's defense any time that they lost possession but Arsenal didn't capitalize on any of them, they made the game easy for Man City by having a slow build up whenever they won back possession, didn't switch the ball quickly enough, overhit long and short balls, poor movements and wing play, it was even worse in the 2nd half, I don't think any Arsenal player had a single touch in Manchester City's penalty area in the 2nd half, they also had zero shots in the 2nd half, Manchester City's goalie was on holiday throughout the 2nd half.

Honestly I don't think Unai Emery is the right manager to take Arsenal forward if they wanna win EPL title again, he's certainly good enough to take Arsenal to a 4th place finish in the Premier league but Arsenal will never challenge for the title if this manager remains at the club.

6th to 6th in 2 months is not actually progress when you think about it realistically, it's only progress because Chelsea whom have been poor in recent times conceded their 11 points advantage over Manchester United to 2 points. Let's now see where Manchester United will be by the beginning of March.

Consider the hard facts, we are on a spaceship called earth that is moving at approx 67,000 mph we are orbiting a huge firery star that we call the sun, that is 149 km away from us at any given time. Perfection, that is what I see when I look at the cosmos.

For billions of years we have not collided with any of the other planets. We are suspended in space and yet we think the creator has made a mistake. I believe everything is just as it is supposed to be. We are all sharing an experience, our actions have effects on those around us as well as those who are yet to come as our ancestors made choices that effect us.

This is the way it is and I believe that this is the design. This is the will of the creator. This is the perfection if only we can recognise it.
We have not collided with any planets because it's not part of God's master plan. God doesn't make mistakes but it still does not mean that He wants us to have a perfect life on earth and always be happy. I think the world today is exactly the way God wants it be, it will neither be a paradise or hell but will always have the blend of both good and evil.

God takes all the credit for all the good things that happens to us but nobody blames him for the bad things, they only blame the devil. God created the devil for a purpose, He knew that Lucifer will turn bad and yet He created him and allowed him to exist.

We have being told in the bible that we are special, loved by God and the world is made for our domination, we're only special because we're the most intelligent species on earth at the moment but who knows how long it will last, we might be invaded by a more intelligent and technologically advanced species from another galaxy in the near future who can either dominate us or destroy our planet. I don't know God's final plan for us or this planet but people who are still waiting for the messiah who's coming soon will be waiting in vain, hasn't come soon after more than 1000 years and won't come in the next 10,000 years, you will see an alien invasion first before you see a messiah. I'm just hoping to live out a fairly long and happy life here on earth and move on to the next dimension whatever that is.

I still wonder why God created the devil when He knew that lucifer will ultimately be responsible for all the evil in the world today, wouldn't it been a tad easier for Adam and Eve and their descendants if He didn't create the devil. Assuming we are all part of God's masterplan then the devil is also part of it which means that all the evil and the good in the world is the perfect design by God, nobody should be responsible for their actions including the devil because all events have been predetermined by God. If God truly wanted the world to be perfect and pure, He would have made it so.

One of the funniest verses from the Bible was when it was said that God regretted creating man, Genesis chapter 6 vs 6. How can the Almighty God not forsee the future? A God is not supposed to be sorry for His actions or have regrets when He's omniscient.

What do you have to say regarding tonight's match.
Manchester United got a bit lucky today, I won't go over the top because of Arsenal injuries, poor goalkeeping and defending, any team in the Premier league would have beaten Arsenal with that type of performance, still not convinced with Manchester United, you will understand by February.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Arsenal Vs Chelsea (2 - 0) On 19th January 2019 by Andrez123(m): 8:30pm On Jan 19, 2019
Pathetic performance by Chelsea in attack, yes they had a lot of ball possession but toothless in attack, they made the Arsenal defenders look like world class defenders, I don't think they mustered a single shot on target for the whole 96 mins, their top 4 place is no longer safe.

Hahaha I don't think so, Arsenal are in a bit of a rot at the moment but with some injured players coming back especially in the defense, I see the team going on another stretch of unbeaten run soon, Manchester United will not finish above 4th by the end of the season while I see Arsenal finishing 3rd.

OK, let's see. However, this is still a new song.
Yeah, Manchester United has finally beaten a top 6 team. I think the 1-0 win over Tottenham was well deserved considering the fact that De Gea made numerous brilliant saves while Tottenham players when the chances came to them were profligate in front of goal. It's not a very convincing performance by Man Utd, it's actually quite similar to a kind of tactical setup and performance that you would have seen from a Mourinho's team playing away to a strong team but a much better performance to when Man Utd lost 3-1 to Liverpool in December.

That's not an excuse. Man city still dey carabao cup, fa , EPL and UCL. Which club doesn't like to win Treble ? Liverpool has been exposed and teams will value their chances against them. I am sure they won't beat Bayern Munich in UCL. But the league is still theirs to lose
Yes I agree with you, Liverpool should be going for all the cups, they're a better team than Wolverhampton and should be beating them, they are putting all their eggs in the Premier league and Champions league basket, they might end up with nothing by the end of the season because I don't even think that they are favorites in either the Premier league or the Champions league.

4 points lead in the Premier league in January is nothing, some teams have had up to 10 points gap in February and still didn't win the league, Liverpool can also have serious injury problems like Manchester City did within the next few weeks or months which will derail their season.

I think I agree with you. LFC wasn't so fantastic today. Arsenal's dense was just messy. Indeed they should not allow the opportunity of becoming the champion this season slip off them.
Arsenal defenders were so shocking today, any team in the Premier league would scored at least 3 goals against Arsenal with that kind of horrible defending. In terms of Liverpool winning the Premier league, Newcastle Utd was 12 points ahead in 1995/1996 season by January 1996 and didn't win it. Man City is also good enough to get like a 15 game winning run and topple Liverpool if Liverpool drop some points for whatever reason. It's not over yet until it's mathematically impossible for anyone to catch Liverpool.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Liverpool Vs Arsenal (5 - 1) On 29th December 2018 by Andrez123(m): 8:39pm On Dec 29, 2018
Liverpool weren't great, Arsenal gifted them 3 goals and 2 penalties that might not have been given on another day. Some shocking defensive errors by Arsenal in that 1st half, poor teams from English league 3 don't even make these kind of mistakes. This is Liverpool's best chance of winning the Premier league since I started watching it, I hope they don't bottle it.

Mesut Ozil did not travel with the team, seems to have totally fallen out with Unai Emery, if he's not gonna play then a replacement is needed in January because Ramsey is not good enough. At least 2 new defenders and one fast winger is needed if Arsenal serious about making it into the top 4 this season.

I don't know what you are drinking, Arsenal has already beaten Huddersfield, didn't this same Brighton beat Manchester United at home? Manchester United has not beaten any team in the top 5 this season and I don't see that happening even with Mourinho gone. You are hoping for other teams to do the dirty work for you so that you can creep into the top 4 but forgetting that Man Utd could easily drop points or be defeated once they play a proper team.

Manchester United is still in d doldrums despite trashing 2 mediocre teams, you can't catch up with any teams in the top 5 this season, maybe next season you can but trashing Cardiff and Huddersfield doesn't mean that Man Utd has suddenly become a top 4 team, Mourinho's Manchester United could have beaten them as well.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Brighton & Hove Albion Vs Arsenal (1 - 1) On 26th December 2018 by Andrez123(m): 8:31pm On Dec 26, 2018
Arsenal was very poor in this game after Aubameyang scored in the 7th minute, they started playing like they are already 5-0 nil up, lots of sideways passess, slow passes, static movements, this allowed Brighton to gain confidence and come into game, funny enough Arsenal conceded from their own corner when Lichtsteiner failed to deal with a simple ball that was lumped up field and Brighton scored from it.

The second half was even more shocking, there was no sense of urgency or aggression, same slow passes and movement without penetration or service to the front players by Arsenal. I can't remember the Brighton keeper making a single save in the 2nd half, Brighton had a few openings in the 2nd half but didn't take their chances, Yes Arsenal might been 2-0 up before it became 1-1 in the first half but that 2nd half was one of the worst 2nd half displays by Arsenal this season. The match ended in a draw which suited Brighton more than Arsenal based on their respective ambitions.

Arsenal did not deserve the 3 points today and neither did Brighton, the draw was a fair result. If Arsenal replicate this kind of performance away at Anfield against Liverpool on Saturday they will definitely concede at least 3 goals without reply.

A hard fought 3-1 win by Arsenal, some unusual things did happen in this match, wrestling, Arsenal leading at half time and Iwobi scoring a goal. The match against Brighton away on boxing day will be tougher than this one, I hope Aubameyang scores a couple of goals again plus less shocking defending and no more injuries from Arsenal which happens all the time these days.

The first time that Arsenal has led at half time in the Premier league this season apart from that it has not been a very entertaining game although the wrestling match between Sokoratis and Barnes fits the WWE rather than a football game.

Mourinho the new specialist in failure. He always blames everyone else for his own failures. His shortcomings in his recent managerial career is never his fault, it's always the fault of the players, pundits, medical team, referees, the media and etc. He's never taken responsibility for any failure in his coaching career.

A very good decision! I knew Mourinho won't last till Christmas after Manchester United's 3-2 lucky comeback win against Newcastle, even though it was a win, there were so many negatives in their performance which showed that Manchester United has regressed into becoming an average midtable team after finishing 2nd last season now let's see how the club will move forward from here and reclaim its lost glory.

To those blaming Leno for the 3rd goal, what was Koscielny doing? As a captain, defender and an experienced player, he's supposed to calling out on his goalkeeper to stay on the line when that cross came in from Shane Long but he and Leno went for the same ball which neither of them got to but instead confused themselves which allowed Austin to score an easy header.
