This one is a beast, I installed a large 85L capacity CNG tank in the boot. It fills up at over 23SCM. It does 246km on 23SCM ₦4,600 (IBAFO - Benin )

It's a Camry 2012 with a 2GR V6 Engine 3.5L.

Again for clarity 246Km on ₦4600

This mileage improvement, is it because of cng gas only or combination of CNG and good Engine.?

I mean after installation fo u still service the Engine to Ensure efficiency or just plug and play

I did 308km on the car and refilled with 71.06liters

That should be around 10mpg, 1L to 3.5km

Please help me review the calculation, is like I go sell this car this year.

When u convert 308miles to km u will get About 490km

It has been there ever since you purchased the vehicle.

Why not go to new market or alaba and get a good electrician to scan the vehicle for you and get out its trouble codes so that you will know what and what to replace or service to make your problems go away?

Yes will do that, I like to learn and know more , because I read Honda Transmission is sensitive and requires good technician to work on it , I want to be updated before they do all sorts of things in my car . It's my first Honda Car

It was der when I bought the car , drove it from Abuja to Owerri , someone help me purchase it ,I noticed thr jerking during shifting on my way from Abuja to Enugu, ..

Now like a week ago I start experiencing jerking when I want to shift from park to Reserve or drive or D1-2 . ...

But if I off the ignition and start the car , it will correct and start shifting properly.

From your solution I have seen similar solutions on YouTube and I think for Crv some of the solenoid are accessible from outside, I just have to save up and get ready.

First is to remove the old ATF and put new one . And make sure it's not overfilled. Den start from there .

You can use any good brand injector cleaner you see for sale at those big brand petrol station pumps. If you know your injectors are partially clogged with dirty it is proper procedure to go to your mechanic for a tune up where he will clean your throttle body off carbon and then remove all your injectors and clean them one by one manually with some fuel and battery. For me if I feel my injectors might be partially clogged and I want to clean it without using all those fancy injector cleaners i usually fill my tank to half and then buy one litre of pain thinner and pour it into my fuel tank (note that paint thinner is very corrosive so make sure you have enough fuel in your tank before you think of trying this method as it might destroy the seals on your injectors if you didn't dilute it properly).

The proper gearbox fluid for tour ho da crv is ATF-DW1. Don't use anything (else except a proper dextron 3 which is temporary and must be replaced with the original fluid within 3,000 kilometres ro be safe) in order not to create problems with your transmission system.

As for the issue you're experiencing with your gearbox (which I marked in bold up there in your writeup) . I have experienced it before. Mine was a shift flare while shifting up from gear 1 to gear 2 only. With the help of a scan I was able to pinpoint the culprit after spending much on changing transmission fluid twice (I used a fake first and then switched to the original one) , cleaning the solenoids on the exterior of the gearbox and changing my transmission range switch.

But remember I was able to pinpoint the issue I had because I ran a scan. It was a small issue. I was initially thinking i would soon buy another gearbox and was saving up towards that before i found the issue. Scanning is important so you will know what exactly you need to look at in your gearbox.

Thanks Alot my new experience now , sometimes if I start the car and engaged gear to either R-D 1-2 any of these the car will jerk and when off thr car and start again it will engage smoothly , did u experience that too and i think my gear oil is over filled

What is the reason of delay shift in gear , especially when u want to shift from 40mph to 60mph,(within a short period of time ) immediately its about reach 60mph the car jerks sometimes it will continue to jerk .

Most at times I will remove my leg from throttle and accelerate slowly , with that method I can go up 80-100mph
....

But I know it's not proper I don't have to apply throttle gently always especially when I reach a stop or try to over take another car , I may not succeed because if I accelerate (heavy apply on throttle) it will jerk while shifting from one gear to another . And it's usually dangerous while trying to over take on high way .

Hello house ,was driving then suddenly,my dashlights came on,my car Kia rio refused to start nor crank,which was quite strange,cause my battery is still good,barely three months,called my mechanic he connected one wire from the battery to the starter,it crank but didn't start,he disabled my car security,still no start, next he claims I should go and buy a new brainbox,which didn't sit well with me.i manage to call few guys who helped push it to my area of abode.i feel the brain box is not bad , maybe he doesn't know what to do,I need help and suggestions 🙏

Have experience that , when ever the security is affected and it didn't start it's usually thr brainbox , see what u do meet with the seller and tell him if the car didnt start , u wont pay him , if it starts u pay him ,

That's what I did they changed the ECU it starts , some times brainbox may not be the issue but that's how my Rx300 happened, although the electrician checked 90% of all possible reasons before concluding it's the brainbox . Any way after that I sold the car

I was highly frustrated today, while I was on my way rushing to an event to meet up with the 10:00 AM deadline for the event which I was also the chairman, a group of some fiercely-looking police officers flagged down my vehicle and I slowed down.

One of the officers came towards my vehicle, ordered me to come out from the car and started demanding for my driver's license. I was like, what is going on?

In as much as I am aware that police officers have taken it upon themselves to be asking people for their vehicle particulars, which is a good way of tracking stolen cars, they asked for it and I provided it, but asking people for their driver's license is what I think is out of the picture.

I tried to exercise my right as a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by briefly dragging it with them initially, which I think this issue of police asking for driver's license had raised dust sometime ago, but I realized that I'm still in Nigeria, last last, I settled with 5k, this is with abeg o, after several hours and minutes had gone by, I arrived the event place by 01:15 PM, an event slated for 10:00 AM.

like I said earlier, asking for car particulars from people by the police is good, but asking for driver's license is where I think the issue lies. I thought anything that has to do with checking of drivers license is strictly under the jurisdiction of the FRSC?

I'm feeling nothing but anger and cheated which gave rise to many questions going through my mind;

Is there any amended law(s) that granted the police force that power?

So I checked out Honda CrV 2007 everything is good except the underneath, it's oily , and I think it's gear oil leaking, even when the car is off, the oil is still dropping small small , or it could be the AC water , I want to know if the AC water drop is around the driver side or passenger side ,


Secondly when selecting gear , it's not smooth , like I can feel the shift , instead of shifting swiftly , is it normal for crv or is that something I should be worried for .before buying

Hello guys, am considering switching to Hyundai car, Santana Fe or Tucson, the real problem is finding a good technician in a case of repair, its the greatest fear, among my environment, so can a good Toyota Technician work on these kind of Cars? And are they expensive to maintain?
