Pinkyposh: Don't be too excited, there's a case of covid-19 in IMO, but the governor has denied it and has refused to report it to avoid panic
low life. And you think if that case is real there will be no myraids of case now. The governor is not in position to deny or report, NCDC has. Haters go and hug transformer. There is not case in Imo yet.
Zoharariel: Sanusi Lamido Sanusi brought this insults & disgrace on himself.
For those who may not know, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is the only man whose record at the King's College Lagos (His Alma Matter) is yet to be broken.
In Bible Knowledge, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, though a Muslim - memorized the Bible from A to Z and till now, no one has broken that record at the King's College.
Sanusi Lamido Sanusi ought to be fighting or contesting for the seat of the Presidency, not a downgraded Emir stool in a jungle called Kano State in this digital age.
Gandollar can not even tie the lace of Kwankwaso's shoes, let alone - Sanusi Lamido Sanusi's.
There was a reason the late Musa Yaradua brought him up from obscurity into the limelight by appointing him as the CBN Governor.
Only few Southerners can rival Sanusi's brilliance & intelligence.
I am using this opportunity to call on the Lagos State Governor - Babajide Sanwo-Olu aka Pointus Pilate to help us appeal to the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company (IKEDC) to restore our electricity at Ojodu-Berger.
For the past 3 days, the only lights we have been seeing at Ojodu-Berger are the break-lights of his BRT buses in the traffic.
I swear to Obatala, I will curse you PHCN officials with the afoshe alagemo that I inherited from my grandfather if my power is not restored tonight.
I cannot continue buying petrol for running my generator with the money I have already budgeted for Beer & Olosho in this yuletide season. It is not sustainable - Never!
We were told the electricity whatever had fault for over 3 days now and they've not been able to fix it, but if it is time to be carrying ladder up & down inorder to extort Nigerians for disconnection fees - dem no go hear any stories.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, if you must break & surpass the records of Babatunde Fashola in Lagos State, you must ensure these bastards called PHCN officials are put in the gutter where they belong.
Thank you!
I'm sure you know what you mean by saying memorise the Bible A to Z. Do you know how many pages you are taking about ? 807,000 words. 31,000 verses and about 1200 pages
Try get some drivers that works with Peace Mass. They have been using innoson busses for over 5 years now. Many other transport companies have the innoson in their fleet. Talk to then.
GeoAfrikana: Lalasticlala, other side of the story.
Emotions and sentiments apart;
First, sincerely when I watched the video yesterday I was confused. I didn't see any persona that looked like a DSS officer. I've once had an 'encounter' with DSS officers. They escorted the corpse of a federal icon from Abuja to our village for burial. They arrived early in the night, witnessed the burial, shot guns in the air and drove off.
It was an intimidating experience. They were so organised and gallant. Their men were heavily built and their guns were sophisticated. No one in that video is similar to the typical DSS officer in my imagination.
Secondly, the word REVOLUTION that Sowore used is enough crime against him. I'm almost certain that if someone tried a tenth of such in the US he would be corpse in less than a month. Or at least be undead in Guantanamo.
Note: I'm opened to objective counter-arguments. If you rationally, objectively and politely debate my points then I'll listen to you. I'm willing to engage in intellectual debates.
But if all you have is insults and curses then expect no response from me.
dignity33: Atleat she is doing something even see her standing next to US Congressman not like Nnamdi Kanu wife who never do anything.
Nnamdi Kanu is far above Sowore. Igbos were on ground to do the needful. So needless of what the wife could do or did. Sowore's wife is very very Ugly sha.
eRex: Sir, I salute your analysis... I have both a Honda and a Toyota same year and I noticed the difference on poor road. Toyota seems too sturdy while the Honda cruises smooth.
Though bought cars are going to a year and no major fixes except the initial touches (bought both Naija used)
Dear OP,
I suggest you sell the car too Volkswagen wahala not sweet at all
You are welcome bro. That is my honest experience....
Tinamoore: Hi Nairalanders, please I need advice/suggestions regarding my car. 2002 volkswagen Passat.
I was using the car in the east before I relocated to lagos hence its been parked for over a year. When I was using it in the east, it always overheat. my mechanic said the water pump needed to be changed. I changed it and the overheating stopped for few months only to start again.
Now I want to fix the overheating issue again so I can bring it over to lagos and my mechanic is saying the problem is gear. That the gear fibre is bad hence the overheating. He said gear will cost around 80k. I am really confused because:
Is the cause of the overheating really gear because my mechanic is inconsistent. I don't want to waste my money.
Can I get a good gear at that price?
Please I need suggestions. I am a separated mum and really constrained financially. I cant afford to waste my hard earned money that's why I need advice from gurus in the house
CC Radautoworks Gazzuzz Fashautos Other car gurus
Try sell the car. In 2010 on the Christmas day, my Volks Bug overheated while I was cruising home from Owerri to Orlu. I spent over 180k trying to fix the problem, at the end I sold it off because the overheating persisted. Then I was a car freak and bought any brand of car that got my attention. I have retired to only Honda vehicles (not an advert) because they hardly take me to mechanics and cruises soft and smoothly. Toyota is another good one but I don't like it's rigidity on ground, feels every stone on the roads and also you need to always change some parts to keep it going.
[quote author=YungMillionaire post=84666091]So we should stigmatize ALL Fulanis because of the actions of a few? Should will stigmatize ALL Igbos because of the actions of their drug dealers and murderous armed robbers?[/quote
And you think Foolanis don't have more armed and drug dealers? Terrorists
EverestdeBliu: which one is 1996 coup again? Know your history mister. The coup that brought in Ironsi was 1966, and the counter coup that ousted him out was in 1967.
Mr I too know. Please there was never a coup in Nigeria in 1967. The war broke out in 1967 after Ojukwus declaration. The 1966 coup was in January and counter coup was in July same year. Which was dubbed July Rematch. It was masterminded by Murtala Muhammed. Check your history.
adanny01: If 300,000km (186,411miles) is minimum, then that is very poor.
My neighbor got a beautiful (I admit) clean low mileage 2008 Corolla and will not shut up on how he will never use Honda because of the transmission and leg issues.
Unfortunately, as clean as his car is, he is spending far more than me to maintain 2003 Accord.
At the moment he is looking for money to change the transmission because the transmission slips when going to 4. I have no transmission issues with my troublesome 2003 accord in 5years. This is the 3rd 2008 Corolla I know that are having such problem. This is apart for the AC problem then come the shocks.
In support of what you just said. I also have a friend whose Toyota Corola would gulp about 30k every 3 months on shock the legs issues. And since 2015 my Honda has never gulped up to that on any issue except for fuelling.
About the tread, you have to also consider factors like Engine Replacement. Vital parts replacements and good maintenance. I don't think the life of a vehicle should be based entirely on the millage.
Oshigun: When will you people stop this redundant noise we know is due to bad belle and envy? Trying to taint Tinubu as some mindless embezzler is so beneath you and so disgraceful to what the man is about and you lot know it. Same way, in 2014 -2015, you screamed Buhari must never become President because he will "Islamise" Nigeria and turn it into a Jihadist caliphate. 5 years of PMB Presidency and we are not being forced into any mosque and our wives and girlfriends are not in Hijabs.
It would have been better to just admit you hate Buhari rather than concoct all that scaremongering lies about the man that never came to pass. You are doing same with Tinubu now. What has the Atiku you supported done out of power, since 2007, for his region, Political Party or even State of origin yet you deem him fit to be President. Yet, should I tell you what Tinubu has done out of power to make him the most respected politician in Nigeria and even Africa? You people are just wicked. Inhumanly so.
And in your little brain you think all Buhari Supporters must support Tinibu and otherwise?
