Few People with lots of wealth and needless influence just sit down in their comfortable homes and declare war for underpaid young men to go and die in the name of defending their nation's honor or policing another.

Till this day, American leaders can't truly account for the whole point of sending thousands of young men to go and die in the Middle East.

The lives wasted and properties destroyed in Syria, Yemen, Ukraine, Iraq, and several other places will never ever make sense to anyone with even the slightest sense of morality and rationality.

All the nations sending the soldiers, funding and sponsoring the wars have remained uninvaded in history...!

If you want to criticised do it with open mind
Yes chief... I completely agree with that obvious fact.

However, what I find awfully upsetting is when those who participated and even had a hand in destroying the nation now the ones making the excuses or acting like they were always far removed from these atrocities.

Guy, Tinubu and his people should shut the f*ck up and work!

They should be showing results not making excuses and constantly tossing blames all over.

It's ridiculously embarrassing to keep throwing blames at the very person you helped install into that office twice in a row.
Foreign Affairs › Re: Graça Machel: First Lady In 2 Countries by Angelfrost(m): 5:53pm On Oct 23, 2025
casualobserver:
There are things that the minute you open your mouth, people with pedigree, class and proper upbringing know you come from an environment without class or pedigree. Being poor doesnt mean you dont have good upbringing or class. Class is largely defined by having boundaries of what is or isnt acceptable behaviour.

It is important that I state, because many of you do not understand, that position or wealth is not the same as pedigree or class. A man or woman can win the lotto and buy all the trappings of wealth but they can’t buy class. Class is a state of mind, it is how you think, it is what behaviors, situations and environments you deem beneath you. What many of you deem to be class is actually crass behavior because many of you do t know what having class truly means.

That’s why it’s difficult to explain this to many of you and why you will never get it. The mentality and upbringing of a commoner is what is on display by many on my mentions.

Someone whose pedigree and upbringing is low can rise to the position of a First Lady. It doesn’t mean she has class. We’ve seen this before in Nigeria. She will behave like a commoner because that is who she is. If you judge class by money or position then you don’t know what class it. I’d you don’t know what it means to have class how can you identify someone who is behaving like a mongrel? Class is not about position or wealth, class is about having boundaries and knowing what is appropriate behavior. you don’t date your friends ex, your brothers ex, same way a woman with class knows having served as First Lady, you cannot be First Lady of another country. First lady ship is not short time and serving who comes next.

A First Lady is a public figure for the rest of her life even after leaving office. She is a mother of a nation, she cannot behave anyhow even after leaving office. There was outrage from the American public, the Kennedy family, the Greeks, the Vatican when Jackie Kennedy married Greek magnate Onassis after the assassination of JFK. Onasis wasnt even a head of state and Americans aren’t exactly refined people with class. Even they knew it was an insult to the institution of the 1st lady and what it stands for.

But this is Nigeria, your heroes public figures and role models are themselves questionable characters so I am not shocked by the responses.

Like I said there is a reason she is the first and the only, even in biblical times there is non on record.

People use the word “class” anyhow, usually people without class who have no pedigree or class and hence have never experienced how people with class operate. Again what separates someone with class is not position, materialism or wealth but knowing that because you can doesn’t mean you should. Take that lesson into your lives and don’t throw the word class around until you actually know what having class means! No offense but your last sentence is the biggest telltale sign that someone has no class! That you can doesn’t mean it is the right or appropriate thing to do, again that is what separates those with class from t house without.

Nice write up... I honestly appreciate the time you took to put this forward, and I took my time to read every word.

Still, while I never even disagreed with your earlier position, I yet respectfully stand on my submission.

At the end of the day, class is relative and subject to bias... On this, I don't even stand to be corrected.

See ehn... That our former first ladies that are widowed chose to stay unmarried doesn't make them more classy than their counterparts that remarried in other parts of the world.

Cultures and customs are dynamic and are continually unique across the globe.

In Nigeria, the widowed Kumuyi of Deeper Life remarried after his wife's burial... Same with late. Odukoya.

If the roles were reversed, would their better halfs have done the same?!! The answer is no! Why not?!! Because it is a cultural thing that most Widows in Nigeria hardly remarry or easily remarry.

That doesn't mean their counterparts doing the same in other nations is wrong or out of place, or as we put it, less classy.

Again, I respect your position on this discourse and matter, but I find it still rank with cultural bias.

At the end, we can agree to disagree.

Thank you.

What is your complain exactly, Tinubu or Buhari, which one is Tinubu protested during Jonathan regime.

Coordinate your thoughts and argue intelligently and stop mumbling every idea that comes your mind together
Maybe your comprehension is playing tricks on your limited mental capacity.

Let me help you...!

1. Tinubu is the current President of Nigeria, and has absolutely no business giving the same excuses for poor results that he criticised and called unacceptable when he was in the opposition.

2. If Nigerian citizens that you guys are blaming for Nigeria's woes today are or were the very same citizens while pdp was in office, then you have absolutely no right or basis to blame them now since you didn't blame them back then.

3. Finally, the office of leadership demands results and not excuses. If we didn't excuse or make excuses for PDP, why should we now do the same for APC and Tinubu?!!

Is it clearer now?!! Can your brain assimilate this simplification?!!.

There is no class in this. Go and ask the Mozambicans how they feel about the wife of their national hero remarrying and becoming the First Lady of another country.

Before you glorify the inglorious, how would a Nigerian feel about the wives of Awo, Zik, Balewa or Sardauna if they remarried the president of day Ghana after their deaths?

Like I said before there is a reason she is the first and the only. It is not done!
That the others didn't do it, doesn't make it inglorious or abominable.

She didn't divorce the man, but was widowed... By the laws of God and man, she did absolutely nothing wrong or despicable.

Come to think of it, if all the former first ladies you mentioned chose to remarry even a gatekeeper in their old age, no one would have overly stressed their brains about it.

Am referring to the big-five leagues(you know dem).

Yes he stayed top of his striking game in France and Italy, but why can't he continue!
Why cant he be consistent while at ligue 1 and serie A! Why always running away! Cant he stay and be creating more impression!
Why the farm leagues for our players!

The strikers that epl signed that are not proving worth, its not anything actually.
At least its an honour and value to grace the big leagues.

And by the way, talking about isak sef(i know am deviating here), dis is just his first season. I hate it when fans especially nigerian fans always criticize players negatively in their first debut in their respective new clubs.

The base line still remains nigerian players always fear challenges.

Iheanacho na vex me pass sef!
Bro, you need to keep up with actual facts surrounding these players not merely relying on hearsay.

Osimhen had absolutely no desire or initial plan to spend anything less than 3 to 5 seasons with Napoli... He was practically their Wonder kid! A good luck charm they are yet to replace till date.

They struggled to win games without him, and only narrowly won the league last season because Inter chose to loosen their grip or were distracted with UCL ambition.

Now, Napoli has lost 2 consecutive games woefully (their recent UCL game was a shocking annihilation).

The club mistreated, and placed him on the market with a hefty price tag...! What was he supposed to do?!! Kneel down and beg them after the disregard and disrespectful behaviour?!!

EPL clubs were queuing up to sign him, but Napoli chose to remain a barrier with their unreasonable demands and valuation. Only Turkey and Middle East could meet them.

Even you know he would have been going toe to toe with Haaland if he had come to the EPL.

But, Ronaldinho never graced the Premier League... Same as Messi and many others.

Osimhen has stayed top of his striking game, from French Ligue 1 to Serie A, now Turkish League.
