But... Why would anyone call Lagos a no man's land?!! Never ever heard them call Abuja the same thing. Lagos clearly has a geographical location and region, and it's clear what the major and indigenous language spoken there is. People should quit being stupid on social media. |
DiasGodinHeaven:A lot of couples married early and stayed decades unable to have kids. Life is not always that simple. |
chimex38:Sorry Boss... I didn't mean to be harsh or offensive. ![]() I just firmly believe that gas finishing even at night cannot ever be compared to that Transformer packing up... We are talking months to years without light in this country, depending on the area you live in. It's a terrible experience abeg. |
Sigh... Why the currency conversion?!! Is that really necessary?!! It's either you bought it in Nigeria or abroad. In whatever location, just say the amount in that currency and leave it there. I still don't get why a lot of you Nigerians constantly keep converting and comparing Naira with the Dollar in everything. It's a terrible habit bordering on the idiotic. Smh!!! |
Thunderfayamods:You are very correct about the systemic racism... I am very well aware of this. However, it still wouldn't hurt for average Black Americans to be more responsible, get educated, and stay legit. |
deltateam:You can take a short trip to the bank during business hours to sort that out. A blown transformer in a middle class neighbourhood is the beginning of the Apocalypse! |
chimex38:That's just carelessness on your own part. You can gauge the level of gas you have at any time. Once the level has fallen very low, you take it for refill... Just like car fuel... Do you wait until it's fully empty before refueling?!! |
That Transformer own ehn...! That's the ultimate NIGHTMARE of every Nigerian. Living in Nigeria is traumatic sha. ![]() |
SeriouslySense:Yeah... I agree with you. This generation has no filter and such limited emotional intelligence when it comes to social media usage. |
SeriouslySense:African-American men are literally among the worst set of men to even walk the face of this Earth...! This is not a joke nor an exaggeration. From multiple relationships which result in children that they rarely bother to cater for, to constantly being unable to hold good jobs (or any decent jobs), down to their inability to get educated...! Yes, they would rather blame racism, immigrants, Trump, slavery, and every thing else but themselves. |
Nnamdipapa:This is the problem. A lot of African men still think paying bills and doling out money are the sum total of healthy and successful relationships. No wonder most of your ladies are comfortable collecting that money while getting their "affections" from other less financially endowed but virile young men. Another thing she mentioned above which might have flown past your head was "having small kids around". Most African and African-American men struggle deeply with fidelity in their relationships and marriages. Look at Nick Cannon, Wizkid, Davido, Flavour, Ginuwine, etc (the list is quite endless). So, maybe ladies and guys in that Black race might need to start dating outside their "gene pool". Just maybe... That might bring some sanity to the few decent individuals among you. |
colizee:Her choice, not her loss...! God created all human beings on Earth... Aren't men and women no longer equal?!! Besides, cross-breeding and inter-marriage among different races is on the rise, and this won't stop anytime soon. This kinda pushes racism and discrimination down the peck. There are more Black men out there chasing after White women tbh. |
Op, leave her with her choice...! There are far more African and Black men who directly and indirectly show such discrimination against their own women. Even most of your Black sportsmen date Caucasians...! Research this! Victor Osimhen Victor Boniface (heard they just broke up) Tammy Abraham ...Just to mention a few! If person don see better shege from his or her own race, it is natural for such mindset and general animosity to develop. Many of you guys in this forum bash ladies from your country daily, calling them shocking names... Yet, I hardly see threads created by ladies to call out discrimination like Op just did. |
Same guy that said the tax bill was too much, that he doesn't make that much...! |
Their celebrations mean nothing tbh...! The real question is... Why are average and ordinary Nigerian citizens not celebrating this "milestone"?!! |
Nigerian soldiers are just being sacrificed for nothing...! Wasting their lives and youths defending a contraption that can't be redeemed. Honestly, they are fighting a very losing battle. The North go do Tinubu x2 wetin dem do GEJ... Just watch!!! Irredeemable region. |
It will always be MTN... The others don't have the same level of coverage nor quality of network. ...at least for most parts of the country. |
Liverpool won fair and square in a contest that was fair, where every team was given equal chances. Have we had a free, fair and Corruption-free election in this nation since 1999?!! Power-grabbing and cutthroat politics remain all most Nigerian politicians understand and practice. Sadly, a lot of Nigerians now see this as normal. |
Lol... I have seen weirder things pop out of the barks of old and ancient trees when incised in foreign lands. Not once was an allusion made to the Spiritual or Metaphysical. ![]() |
Reference:Your last paragraph... "If you are that good...". Lol... That's a big "IF", and we all know being in that office is not about being good or worthy. |
Sigh... I thought Tinubu scorned at statistics when campaigning for this office! He did say, and I quote: "Na Statistics we go chop?!!" For the past 2 years, I have heard and read more statistics from his cabinet than seen actual improvements in the lives of majority of Nigerian citizens. Honestly and factually, we have been fed more statistics under 2 years than the entire tenure of Buhari and GEJ combined. This year alone, there have been more topics and lame threads on Nairaland gracing the front page about Stats (both true and clearly false) than the whole of Buhari's 2 terms in office. I kid you not! |
Okay... I get that you want to or enjoy having sex with your fellow same gender, but why the cross-dressing?!! I mean... If you had dressed appropriately like your gender entails, you wouldn't have been treated this way. Why do you cl0wns constantly feel the need to attract needless attention?!! You can have all your perverted sexual acts in private, and still show up out there in public looking sane and responsible. ...Or am I missing something?!! ![]() |
omoadeleye:They are selfish for blaming government for all leadership lapses... But, you are not selfish for defending the government in everything too?!! The very same government many of you attacked all the time when Pdp and GEJ were in charge have suddenly become above blame. You will all be alright las las...! ![]() |
Okay... So, when Tinubu was campaigning in 2014 and 2022, he wasn't "Power-hungry"?!! |
I don't understand...! You are reforming Nigeria and Nigeria's economy, yet more money is being sent to loved ones by those working and earning abroad?!! Shouldn't it be the other way around?!! Sorry, but I fail to see the "Achievement" being celebrated here. ...Except you are telling me with evidence that 600 Million Dollars is being sent down here monthly for investments, and the investments are directly transforming the economy to greater heights. |
sterlingD:Lol... Do you have the same fear for Xabi Alonso?!! ![]() |
Silentgroper:Serie A football is largely defensive...! Free flowing and massive attacking football is not a big thing there. Napoli won the league last season practically keeping pace with the likes of Bournemouth in EPL. |
NaijaGoBetter2:Serious club?!! How?!! A serious club that sold more than half of its winning first team along with their coach, and still expect the new coach to maintain their past glory! Nah.... Bayer is not serious. |
Maxymilliano:Sadly, Ajax has moved on... Same way Sporting has moved on from Amorim. |
robosky02:Lol... Shouldn't you be worried that all the coaches that excelled in other clubs couldn't make it at your club?!! As it stands now, if Amorim eventually fails or gets sacked, United will officially be termed the Graveyard of Coaching and Playing careers! Any smart and promising coach would wisely avoid your club... With time, even good players too. |
Just like that... This once promising coach's career is GONE! This is what the trauma of managing clubs like Man United can do to your career and life. The stigma just follows you everywhere. He should try Serie A... Italian football will be less stressful and demanding of his coaching philosophy. Look at Cesc Fabregas looking good at Como... Tak him to leagues like EPL or Bundesliga, and be would be seriously found out. |

. What is the value of a crown without the stiffest contest. If you are that good, you will welcome a contest with open hands to prove it.
