No team that works hard, trains well, and has disciplined and United players is average or ordinary.

That said... Nigerian male football has been a mess for decades, especially the local league.

Poor infrastructures, little investments, poor leadership, etc.

If the Super Eagles players weren't trained and play in superior leagues abroad, it would be absolute shambles. Same also goes for the Female team.

Look at the basketball team for females... How many of them are homegrown?!!

Since Yekini and others, how many players have we raised from the grassroots?!!

This is an indictment on the Nigerian football association.

I will forgive her, and wish her well... The union is gone and over for good!

Lol... You guys need to seriously get off RCCG's back.

That church has Multi-billionaires among its membership. Men mount for that organization.

Besides, unlike your corrupt and useless FG, the church has well documented and clear accountability records of every money or dime used.

Just take a good look at what the church has accomplished across the world in the last 2 decades...!

If Nigeria were led or governed half of the way most top churches are run, Japa rate would reduce by over 70% in less than 5 years.

So, channel your life frustrations elsewhere abeg...!

Stop using the Church as a cheap whipping boy for your misgivings about the horrible state of your nation.

As much as I dislike and abhor these Islamic extremists, I just don't get why some people keep going out of their ways to trigger them.

That other religions keep calm and don't take offense easily doesn't make it right to keep crossing the line and blaspheming what people take as sacred for centuries.

If Chelsea's owner's other clubs qualify for the same competition as Chelsea, one of them would be demoted.

A club owner or management can't have more than one club in a single European competition... It's a known constitutional rule.

The girl Bleep up and there is no denying that but there are professional ways of handling her. If na UK, that airline would pay seriously for damages and have their licence suspended.
Whoever made the video is has nothing to do with it. The Airline are very unprofessional. If na another KWAM one be that, would they bundle out to the extent of dehumanizing the so called offenders, 🤔. Ibom Air messed up big time and if that's how they react to issues, am sorry I no dey board that airline o. It's wrong.
That's just it...!

That was my first reaction too. How can an airline be this unprofessional?!!

KWAM1 should have been well punished as a deterrent to others, especially those who think being wealthy and famous makes them above all laws.

Adams Oshiomhole should have been sanctioned too for his antics with Air peace.

We just condone poor behavior in this nation especially when those involved are wealthy and influential.

I booked a night bus ticket — the plan was simple: get to Lagos by morning.
YSG had already informed us that, due to the Local Government elections in Lagos on Saturday, the buses would leave early — around 5 PM — to beat the expected roadblocks and delays.

Our journey began from Port Harcourt, passing through Owerri, Onitsha, and Delta.
By God’s grace, the road was smooth.
A few moments of traffic tried to test our patience, but we kept moving.
Then came Edo State — the roads turned rough, the journey tested our endurance.
But we pushed through.
We weathered the eye of the storm.

Past the struggle, we entered Ore with the strength of overcomers.
And soon, we were cruising through Sagamu — hopeful, faithful, not knowing what lay ahead…
But still holding on to faith in God.

By 6:25 AM, we arrived at Ojodu Berger, Lagos.
And then...
It began.
The very thing we had tried to avoid.

But that’s a story for another page.

P.s: It was night bus so I took a night picture. Cheese!!!! grin grin grin cool cool cool

Stay tuned.
Sigh... Total blackout like this can only be a certain third world country. undecided

What he did is a very serious offense in developed countries, and carries jail term.

KWAM1 should have been charged for trying to sabotage an airline... That actually borders on terrorism.

Chelsea, Liverpool & Man City, any of them would be 1-3, it depends on form and injuries.

While Arsenal & Man U would be competing for 4 & 5.

I think Artetal will be sacked this year, except if Arsenal wants to keep being average team.
Right now... Chelsea is already ahead in terms of quality and readiness

Let's see if City have recovered from their disaster of last season.

Remember he brought up by a single father after his parents divorced. It wouldn't have been easy growing up.

At a point, he was spending more time in the clubs than in training, turning up hungover and late for training sessions.

When they tell you Nigerian men to zip up permanently abroad, una think say na joke.

Some things considered as mere male flirting in Nigeria will land you in serious problem with the law abroad.

Abroad authorities will always take the side of ladies even if the man is being set up or wrongly accused...! By the time you clear your name, it would be too late for your career.

See what Thomas Partey is currently facing...! That Man City former player (Benjamin Mendy), has been cleared of all charges, but his career is GONE!

Hakimi still dey try dodge him own stray bullet too.

Ronaldo and Neymar narrowly escaped too.

Be on serious guard and vigilance, una no wan hear word! Issokay!!!

Gabby Agbonlahor was the one that really surprised me back then. He rejected SE, to play only 3 games for England and never scored. Not great for a forward/striker.
Scotland would have been a better choice if not playing for 9ja. He was eligible.
Gabriel was not serious about his career tbh...!

Too much ego and lack of commitment to improvement really cost him a lot.

He was on track to becoming an elite striker for England... Snubbing Nigeria was also quite dumb of him.

These players are never well advised by those closest to them. Some parents who left Naija carry some animosity towards the country and pass off the influence to their kids.

Only smart kids insist on returning to their roots.

Brother, we are actually on the same page.

Those guys you mentioned, especially Saka, are not average players na... They practically and permanently own the positions they play in their clubs.

National team call up and permanent caps were never in doubt for them.

Can the same be said for the names I mentioned earlier?!!

When Tammy and Ibe rejected Super Eagles, I just knew they were not sensible at all! grin

Thank God Lookman and Aina didn't behave like that.

Zion Suzuki in Japan is a first team starter, so understandably had to reject Super Eagles call.

Because you study nursing, medicine, pharmacy e.t.c doesn't mean you will get or over others that studied say history or philosophy. This used to be the case when I immigrated in 2010.

But now it's all about getting high scores in IELTS and being young image. Higher education like Msc or PhD also helps.

I can't speak for Australia though.
Guy, let's not go back and forth on this...!

Canada has a nomination stream and quota for PR via Express Entry and Provincial nominations every single year.

Medical professionals top that list consistently.

You will hardly see Doctor, nurse or pharmacist in Canada today that didn't get an instant PR when coming in.

Well, Canada, Australia, and certainly other nations have a high demand for medical professionals especially doctors and nurses.

Anyone in these fields has no business going in through student route.

Yes, but that's not a bad thing... Since it's for a while.

Besides, none of those medical professionals come in via Student route... They are the main people that come in as Permanent Residents, except they don't know what they are doing.

Before thinking of boarding any plane out of this nation, you ought to have certifications and mad skills under your belt.

Language skills will also go a long way.

Do you know learning French as a second language already puts you even ahead of top professionals in the Canada Job market?!! Research this!

Especially government work... Bilingual people are literally being begged to come and live and work in key Canadian provinces.
