D00msDay:
Nigeria has not won anything tangible cup in sport since APC came onboard. SMH.
Nigeria has actually diminished in practically every sector, internally and externally since those clueless people came on board.

The worst part is how they also managed to destroy the little bond of unity among citizens.

Tinumbu should not have sent a delegation. Is the government this idle?

See the result na.
As in... A friend told me that would be seen as bad luck by most already angry Nigerians.

I thought he was overreacting and overreaching, but Omo!!!

Romance › Re: Man Cancels Wedding After Finding Out Bride Was Sleeping With Rev Father. by Angelfrost(m): 9:10pm On Jul 26, 2025
Good for the groom... He escaped a lifetime of being cheated on.

The concept of men being made to stay celibate under the guise of religious service as priests will never make sense to me.

Let's stop this practice of promoting hypocrisy.

It's not even Biblical.
Politics › Re: Only ADC Can Tackle The Challenges In Northern Nigeria – David Mark by Angelfrost(m): 6:41pm On Jul 26, 2025
Yawns...!!!

I still remember how Tinubu and Atiku said in 2015 that only APC could solve the growing insecurity in Nigeria along with the corruption crisis.

The same set of people have now left Apc and Pdp, and are now telling us that PDAPC (ADC) suddenly has all the answers.

Issokay!!! grin

Make una sha no put unnecessary pressure on top these young ladies...!

The burden can make them desperate, which can lead to poor mistakes and decisions on the pitch.

Simply tell them to do their best, and that the nation is behind them all the way!
Politics › Re: Garba Shehu Counters Adesina’s Claim On Buhari’s Foreign Medical Trips by Angelfrost(m): 6:34pm On Jul 26, 2025
Lol... Both of you clowns are practically saying the same thing. grin

Whether as a personal preference or based on his lack of faith in the healthcare system of the very nation he presided over for more than 8 years as a civilian and military head of state, the fact remains:

Buhari chose foreign hospitals for all his medical needs while earning fat from Nigeria's resources.

It's even shameful and disgraceful to talk about... But, of course, shame is something alien to Nigerian politicians and their hungry supporters.
Politics › Re: Daniel Bwala: Tinubu Physically Fitter Than Most Presidents In Developed Countri by Angelfrost(m): 6:04pm On Jul 26, 2025

Well, he has a stipend to earn.

He would have said the same thing if Tinubu was in a coma. tongue
Family › Re: What Does It Mean When Your Wife Saves Your Number On Her Like This? by Angelfrost(m): 6:01pm On Jul 26, 2025
I can't even remember the last time I addressed my wife by her actual name... Not to speak of saving it as such on my phone.

Not even during dating years did I call her by her first name.

If this story is true, then Op... That marriage is practically over.
Politics › Re: Hakeem Baba Ahmed: Atiku Should Play Father Figure And Support Someone Else by Angelfrost(m): 8:27pm On Jul 25, 2025

Tinubu was supposed to have played father figure to Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. tongue
Politics › Re: Many Feared Dead As Gunmen Unleash Terror On Imo Communities by Angelfrost(m): 3:48pm On Jul 25, 2025
gadgethead:
Very salient questions you asked here. And rightly so. Each affected community must work with the police. Without collaboration and information sharing, it will be more difficult to apprehend the killers. So communities, due to fear or collusion, may not share important information with the authorities
Good point, but not close enough...!

We need to move past looking for killers that have done the harm and moved on... It's redundant and shows lack of seriousness.

We are supposed to be on top of our game Security-wise.

The question is why these things keep happening year after year, for decades now!

The answer is simple... We don't take Security at national, state, and local government levels seriously.

These same places will suddenly become very safe and well protected if a mega event like national elections, APC primary, or some international event is happening!

Have you ever wondered how come the nation is suddenly well secured during election but not the same after?!!

...Or does the nation shrink in size when it's time for elections?!!

Slytiger:
So we should not say the truth because it hurts your fragile ego?
Fragile ego?!! What truth?!! What are you yapping about?!!

Hundreds have been slaughtered in cold blood in Enugu, Benue, Borno, Niger, Kwara, Plateau, just to mention a few, and your notion of truth is to push blames?!!

If you can't secure Nigerians in Nigeria, how can you attract investors within and outside?!!

How can you invest and improve tourism?!!

South Africa has hosted a world cup (made Billions of Dollars), hosted international events, are itching to host the first ever world F1grand prix!

Morocco and Egypt make almost more money from Tourism than we make from crude oil sales (practically our only income source as a nation).

UAE makes blood money from tourism and Hollywood, not even talking about crude!

How many years have we been on this Insecurity matter?!! How many trillions have poured into that sector alone?!!

How many Billions spent on infrastructure in the North by APC that we can't recoup profits from due to this same insecurity?!!

If as old as you are, you still can't see beyond your father's compound when it comes to national issues, then you are in big trouble.

Slytiger:
This is serious. I hope they wont blame others. Soludo already told us that na im people dey do am.
Why does that even matter to you?!! Should that be the pertinent thing here?!!

Insecurity is sweeping over every state, and you are more concerned about the politics of the issues.

The real questions should be:

1. How can a nation not at war record such amount of casualties in one year?!!

2. What exactly do we have DSS, Police and other security agencies being paid if insecurity keeps increasing annually?

3. How can the nation attract local and foreign investors to boost the economy and even tourism with such shocking rate of insecurity?!!

phr0nesis:
Excellent business model, not the rubbish my team (Man U) is doing. Buy expensive, sell very cheap (that's if they even find buyers)
United were poorly run post-Ferguson by the Glazers... They were busy throwing money at names without adequate due diligence and scouting processes.

Now, the club is neckdeep in debts due to last season's trophy drought and finishing outside top 4.

Add that to the fact that they have players on high wages not delivering, and who clubs are not pricing well.

This means you guys have to make do with an average squad, work harder at player development and discovery, finish better in the coming season, and sell players for profit.

This won't happen in even 2 whole seasons.

It's going to be a very long walk back to the glorious days.

Frankfurt usually overprice their strikers.
Jovic was €63
Marmoush €75
Haller €50
Kolo Muani €95
And now Ekitike
Yeah... Learned they have made over 200 Million between Janaury and this July.

For players they didn't spend more than a combined 50 million for.

That's some serious GOOD business model right there.
Politics › Re: Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan blocked at Abuja Airport, Later Released by Angelfrost(m): 2:53pm On Jul 24, 2025
It's good we are laughing and making light of this Natasha matter, just because of Political leanings and ethnicity.

Just ask yourselves...!

If someone of Natasha's elite level and huge connections can be put through this Political intimidation, imagine what fate awaits an ordinary and average citizen demanding his rights.

Issokay... Let's keep speaking grammar and forming politically correct while rules and basic rights are trampled upon by the high and mighty.

A player worth €95m should make any first team. Frankfurt just run Liverpool street.
He was definitely overpriced, no arguing that.

Still, he is a very good player, just unfortunate that France squad is brimming with so much quality and experience for Hugo to just stroll into.

That doesn't mean he is worth a good market value.

dominique:
Sebi Liverpool podcasters said €75m is too much for Osimhen and his wage demand is too high because he's untested in the premier league. Now they're hyping a €95m deal for one Ekitikete boy that has also never been tested in the EPL and has never scored more than 15 league goals per season in his entire career. The way Bundesliga teams take scam Liverpool this transfer window needs to be studied.
Honestly, it makes no sense at all.

If Osimhen is overpriced at 75 Million, Hugo shouldn't cost more than 45 - 50 Million.

African players are so highly undervalued in Europe.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Ekitike: Did Liverpool Make A Financial Mistake? by Angelfrost(m): 1:34pm On Jul 24, 2025
Not gonna lie, that amount shocked me... 90 Million for wetin?!!

Then again... Liverpool hardly ever get it wrong with transfers, except for Nunez.

Inflation in the transfer market is real...!

Clubs have to take youth development in their academies very seriously.

Only very few players are worth more than 50 Million Pounds in my honest opinion.
