Yep... These politicians have no loyalty to party or Nigerian citizens. Atiku will decamp shortly, once the coast is clear. |
Guardiola sef... Wetin him bench Haaland for now! Why not start with the same strong squad used against Newcastle?!! Well... It's over for them. |
Triplerg:Nope... Which other team stresses Real Madrid like Barcelona and Atletico?!! |
ppogba:Brother, if I criticised them, then they deserved it. If I praise them now, it means they are doing well. The only constant thing in life is change... Rashford has been shite in United for a good while now, this is not something hidden. If Villa unlocks his potential and shakes off the rust of Old Trafford, then good for him and Villa. It's also good for United if both Antony and Rashford get rejuvenated in their loan spells. As for score line, anyway the game goes suits me perfectly... I have no dog in this fight. ![]() |
CheedyJ:Na only Barcelona get their antidote...! ![]() |
fergie001:Mtchewww... Do wetin?!! ![]() |
There is not a single one I love or can ever find appealing, no matter how desperately hungry I am. ![]() |
fergie001:You ought to be supporting your very own Younger, albeit more successful, Manchester neighbour. |
First trophy less season loading for Pep and Man City in a very long while...! It will take a real miracle to beat Madrid here in their backyard. ...Except you are Lamine and company. ![]() |
Liverpool truly struck gold with most of their signings under Jurgen Klopp...! Salah has stayed so amazingly consistent. Impressive! Lord Rashford, still waiting for you to prove those 'haters' wrong o. McTominay wasted no time in Italy. Antony has scored in 3 consecutive games, won 2 MVPs, and is on the shortlist for La Liga Player of the month. Even Martial has been on fire in Greece. |
ReacherSaidNoth:Yeah... Beating Villa and Man City on the trot can only be the stuff of true Champions. |
Sheuns:He merely has more playing time and takes most of the penalties. But, that's not the point... He is not one at the receiving end here. Well, at this point, the management should call both player and coach to order. If there is already bad blood between both of them, then the needful should be done... The player should look for another club. ...Cos I don't see any reason to single out one player out of others in a match that you lost in first half. |
Generally, cultists don't value their lives. |
anonimi:A lot actually...! He has been the shining light and a key part of the nascent success of that club. Scoring a hat trick in a Europa final to help them win their first European title in decades is no mean achievement. Since he got injured, they have struggled visibly. The coach should never have made such careless statements... Blaming a player for a game they already lost in first half is immature and stupid. |
Sheuns:Oh please...! His skills already speak for him. The last time Ronaldo got benched by his coach, did we hear the last of it on social media?!! Did Messi ever keep quiet when disrespected by managers?!! They all human with feelings and reputations to protect. |
Sheuns:Your statement is true but also goes both ways...! No coach is also bigger than the club. Atalanta's recent success from last season can be linked to Lookman's skills, hardwork and commitment. Why is it so hard to accept that the coach goofed by speaking in such a manner?!! Since Lookman got injured, the club and team practically collapsed. The coach should do better. |
Sheuns:Those days where players took nonsense and kept calm are long gone...! This is the social media age... It's Aura for Aura. Next time, the coach will learn to choose his words more carefully. Everybody has a reputation to protect. |
pyyxxaro:These clubs never learn...! I expect the management to quickly step in and de-escalate the whole thing. The coach was unprofessional and immature allowing his emotions get the best of him. When in doubt, you simply tell the journalists that you wish not to comment on certain questions. |
lastmessenger:Really?!! So, which city or town in the universe will God allow it happen to?!! Which cities are unlike Lagos and deserve naturally occurring disasters?!! |
Okay... Let me wait to hear what N.I.S.A has to say about this first. ![]() For those wondering... NISA stands for Nigerian International Space Agency. I like to assume such a body exists in Naija... We can't be Giant of Africa for nothing. ![]() |
meobizy:They will understand once you speak clearly and audibly... Not necessarily because you are imitating their accent. It is laughably unnecessary to lift your octaves or change your speaking pitch to match another. Just communicate clearly and effectively. Many of us Nigerians have serious self-esteem issues. |
valentineuwakwe:Your choice sir. The man who cares about the history of the woman he is marrying is not wrong... That might also be his own avenue to peace of mind. There is a reason they do medication and medical history when treating people in professional clinical settings. |
Lol... What people care about is their choice and prerogative. It does not exactly make them less manly or womanly. That's like saying real women don't care about a man's financial struggles. ![]() That one man chooses to overlook a woman's past sexual escapades and "body count" doesn't make it a standard that other men must adhere to. Just find the person that is ideal for you, and quit trying to gaslight other men. |
grandstar:Indeed... Everything is upside down in this century and age. |
jaephoenix:The topic is about David Oyedepo Jnr. ...And I was commenting or replying generally. So, what topic are you talking about please? |
ThierryJay:Wow! I didn't even know this! That Gasperini is an idiot racist then. What a shame... These Italians sef. SMH!!! |
grandstar:There are shorts, and there are SHORTS. Those who dress provocatively know exactly what they are doing. For a lot of people, gym is more than fitness... Infact, I know many who legit told me they go there solely for socialising and amoral purposes. I kid you not. |
Okay... They are doing well. I wouldn't expect anything less from clergymen and their spouses. On this matter, those who dress seductively and provocatively to the gym (either gender) know exactly what they are trying to achieve. It's left for others to mind what brought them to the gym. Personally, I work out effectively at home with amazing results coupled with good diet and sleep. Whenever I need to visit the gym, I usually pick a time when It's quieter and less populated... My typical time is very early in the morning when they are just opening. |
frankson1:Quit making a case for what is wrong. Lookman was wrong for taking the penalty ahead of those assigned... But, would we be having this discourse if: 1. Lookman had scored the penalty. 2. Retegui had taken it and missed. 3. Lookman had scored 2 more goals and pulled them back in. Other coaches have had players miss 2 crucial penalties and lost games, yet they refused to call them out during press time. Anger is your choice of emotion as a coach, but making such statements is inexcusable and profoundly counterproductive. Lookman has made his own statement on the matter (I hope you read it, if not please do), and a chain of negative events similar to Osimhen and Napoli might proceed... Except the club hierarchy smartly steps in. Atalanta has been messing up locally and in Europe for a while now... I never heard the man call out his players. |
frankson1:Yeah... Lookman did wrong but he didn't do anything terrible or strange that couldn't have been corrected internally. To single out your best player for a poor error of judgement or youthful exuberance in a game he contributed the best from the bench paints a negative image of your character as a coach. Atalanta lost that game in the first half...! Whatever hope the penalty might have rekindled, that Red card would have cancelled it, but did you hear him call out the idiot defender?!! This is not about supporting a fellow African... This is about professionalism and maturity on the part of a supposedly seasoned coach. You and that guy don't need to argue for the sake of neutrality. I'm also neutral here, and Gasperini was stupid for making that utterance to the press. He should have deigned not to comment, and disciplined his player in private. |
cr7lomo:Nope... I already criticised Lookman for that. I even knew he would miss the penalty. My point remains that the reaction of the coach was wrong. Such statements are not made in public... These are things Ancellotti, Pep, and others would never say in front of the press. You discipline or reprimand the player in private... Such utterances can upturn the chemistry of your team and further impinge on their future games. Besides, if any player needed to be called out publicly, it should have been his defense and midfield. That game ended in first half. This was how you went off about Osimhen too. This is not being objective. |
Lol... Urging them to reduce prices without addressing what is making then hike the prices is idiotic. You can't stop a chain reaction from the middle. More farmers are being senselessly maimed and killed with their farmlands being taken over yet nothing is being done. Una go leave the main foundational issues dey chase shadows for media. |
