Kobojunkie:I told you... These sycophants are desperate and brainless. |
Okay... But, can average Nigerians access and afford these facilities?!! American, British and other nations' health care systems can be accessed by most of their own citizens... It is when they are overwhelmed that some special cases choose to try other nations. Point is... What is there to brag about here?!! Are we saying it is an achievement that foreigners can afford and access health are facilities in Nigeria that are far beyond the reach of actual Nigerians living in Nigeria?!! |
Sigh... This looks gross and tacky. ![]() |
That's a shame...! A lot of former top footballers went on to excel in coaching and club administration. Why should things be different with Mr. Kanu?!! Edwin Van dar Sar did an impressive and admirable job with Ajax. Deco is excelling in management of Barcelona Ibrahimovic is smooth sailing with Milan |
This man is really sad inside... There is an abandoned child crying out from within him begging for true love and care. All these antics are from a place of emptiness and misery. So sad! |
Originalsly:It will never make sense to me either...! How someone will see Natural Melanin as an enemy of beauty... Something that Whites envy and try to get into their skincare products to reduce their paleness. Many Africans have serious mental problems. I grew up with Vaseline Blueseal and Coconut oil... I have maintained them till date. If my skin color is not "beautiful" enough for anyone, let him or her go to hell. |
Low self-esteem and self worth...! Add that to the diminishing IQ among Nigerians who easily believe that the darker your skin is, the less beautiful you are. That's also why there is a high rise in cosmetic surgical enhancements among them too especially ladies. This is part of why there is a steady rise in cancer, liver and kidney issues, and other skin anomalies. I wonder how dumb someone can be to think any sane person won't easily tell that your 'fair' skin is not natural but chemically generated... or that the nonsense bumbum is not genetic or naturally gifted. Una go suffer under this wicked African sun. ![]() |
Pque:Okay... I was right. You are far removed from the current realities facing Nigerians. I understand now. It's been great chatting... Have an awesome day. |
Pque:There's a distinct difference between what you described above and what this thread is about. The fact is... Many more Nigerians are begging today, not as a business or vocation but as an act of desperation in a hopeless situation. Even salary earners are not exempt from this begging pandemic sweeping across the nation. The poverty level in the nation is currently at a historical all time high... Like, shocking proportions. This is not the time or place for dismissive statements...! If you haven't encountered people, hardworking people that have been reduced to begging for sustenance, then I wonder where in Naija you reside or what kinda heart you have. |
Softmirror:Brother, I don't think that's what is happening now. Honestly, the nation is in a mess... No easy way to put it. People who never begged a day in their lives have now been reduced to the position of seeking help even in degrading manners. Poverty level in Nigeria has never been this high and frightening. Let's not simply wave such reports off because they don't align with what we want to believe or perceive. |
SoftSport:The only room for such sentiments is WAR... ...and even then, you have to actually apply for asylum/refugee, be properly vetted and approved prior to entering the nations. Seeking a better life is good but should be done lawfully... There really is no excuse for messing up another nation's immigration process and adding to their population woes. Desperation is no excuse for illegality. |
Golan007:Lol... I don't need to. Same way I won't ask you to produce a document that clearly states it isn't. My point remains... Restraining these people is not necessarily because they are even viewed as criminals. They are restrained for their own safety and more importantly, the safety of the flight officials and crew members. This is not something new or strange. |
NothingDoMe:Precisely! We have seen reports of Nigerians jumping to their deaths rather than being deported from some Asian nations. Some even got violent in-flight and if they were not restrained would have caused the plane to crash. The Officials have little to no choice in this matter...! Handcuffing illegals during deportation is not something new. |
Golan007:It's actually a criminal act and offense to enter and reside in any nation without documentation and authorisation. Except the laws and rules have magically changed overnight. Imagine if such a person is caught in places like Saudi Arabia or China... Will there even be room for grammar or courtesy?!! That's akin to a stranger or outsider coming into a community in the pre-colonial era, and blending with others for a while... How do you think he would be treated when found out?! As extreme as the deportees were treated, I sense the U.S officers didn't want to risk violence and suicide during the flight. |
This is unnecessary...! The restraints were probably used to minimise risks like assault and suicide. There can be no denying the fact that some of the deportees would rather plunge into the ocean than return back to their nations in shame and disgrace. These people should be spending more time protesting against what led to their citizens desperately and illegally entering other nations. |
legitnow1:Seriously?!! So, your nation is being properly run like this?!! Perfecting what exactly?!! You want to create more states in a system where so many states are an embarrassment even to themselves, buried in external debts with little to nothing as contributions or investments! Maybe, you are the one who needs the advice you are dishing out above. ...And quit using all Caps, please. They are actually visually irritating and aggravating for a lot of readers. |
mejai:As in... Even in the U.S, he would have been gunned down at the very first sign of resistance not to talk of biting or trying to attack an officer. They will waste him instantly and the case won't see review. Some of these European nations seem hellbent on turning their countries into terrorism enclaves by the way they handle their security with kid gloves. |
legitnow1:We will merely be creating more headaches for a nation that has failed to decentralise. We should be talking and pushing for regional governments and full resource control. All that talk of equity and justice is just laughable... There is absolutely nothing that will make this system of government equitable and just. Nothing! |
From the 12-year educational system to this...! It seems these guys have decided that the best way to gloss over their glaring inability to address the pressing needs of the nation is to indulge in comical and white elephant projects. Cos how can a nation that should be merging states due to resource mismanagement and underdevelopment be talking about creating more useless entities or states to add to the central headache of the crawling nation?!! |
ednut1:Lol... How can they effectively plan families when they siphon and divert the funds every year into their personal bank accounts. The amount of money these people pocket every year, from NYSC to USAID and others would have made the entire North flourishing and healthier than some states in America. |
Yet, you are the GIANT of Africa...! If birth control requires intervention from other nations, then what exactly can we do on our own?! Malaria - Intervention needed HIV/AIDS - Foreign Subsidy needed Sickle Cell - Not a single solid structure ...Primary Health care at all levels - Barely running What am I even saying... Even Mr. President won't be able to survive or stay healthy for complete 3 or 4 months without a 'working visit' or 'vacation' to France. |
Even Nnamdi Kanu will pass a huge vote of confidence under the "right circumstances". |
Samueltemi337:Yeah... They have qualified to be trophyless as usual. ![]() |
Judolisco:Even abroad, people still dropout from any and every level of education till today. Changing the system won't sanitize the sector. Addressing the reasons for high dropouts and out of school kids remains the way forward. You don't address a foundational or structural issue in a building by repainting and renaming it. |
zero8zero:Good explanation...! Next question, how exactly do you make such compulsory when the reasons for children dropping out of the older system have not been addressed?!! Do you think or believe students drop out of school solely for the fun of it?!! Do you think they stop strictly for the fun of it?!! How does this address the low attendance and out of school stats in most states in the North?!! What about the constantly diminished budgetary allocation to the education sector?!! What about teacher's remuneration?!! |
Kobojunkie:These people just jump into any and every thread containing Tinubu’s name or FG, and start defending vigorously... Even without having a proper grasp of the subject matter. When I say Sycophancy is a form of mental illness, una go say I too dey talk. ![]() |
96ACE:Words on the Marble...! You have officially rephrased the well known expression: "A Painted Monkey will remain a Monkey" |
FreeStuffsNG:I will honestly like to believe you are not equating having primary and secondary schools within the same space or location where students pass through all of them without changing school to this system being proposed by the FG...! For common sense sake, you can't be alluding to such. Nah... Let me believe that's not what you are trying to even imply. |
zero8zero:Please, explain how merging Primary and Secondary education into one stretch will improve the quality with the current challenges facing the Education sector. I will wait...! Impress me with your in-depth knowledge of standard education. |
Well, whatever!!! If you don't invest and improve the standard and quality of education at all levels, then this is nothing but window dressing. This ought to be secondary to critically addressing the main issues affecting education in Nigeria... Starting from budgetary allocation to that sector. |
Sigh... Inter Milan is not ready for the title this season. Good luck to Lukaku and Conte. Meanwhile... Kudos to Liverpool. Newcastle Vs Liverpool makes more sense for a final! ![]() No one bottles titles like Tottenham. |
GanagiBitrus:It's just a goal advantage... Spurs are not through anywhere yet. |

Thunder fire una

Most of the standard private schools have been running this for decades.
