It hasn't reflected shit in the last decade.

Anyone with research skills knows the awards are split among the influence of affluent recording corporations.

You can excel in the art with high volumes of streams and album sales but get skipped if you don't have the weight of the industry behind you.


Ballon D'or for football would have been the same if not that the world of football is way too public and widely influenced for such crap. Even then, FIFA and UEFA still fall short once in a while.

Sigh... This world is not for the fainthearted.
