We are definitely in the same WhatsApp group...!

I have met a lot of celebrities in person, and felt absolutely no excitement or need to reach out to them... Even when they said hi to me, I replied like I would to any other individual.

You people attack and accuse them of not building bridges (whatever that meant cos we don't know the bridge a buhari built before you made him president for good 8 "glorious" years) but when they try to do,you still attack and accuse.
If you people focus this attention you attach to Peter Obi(person wey nor dey government o) to your leaders,I am sure they will start sitting up.

Right now in the world, Nigeria is the only country where certain people follow, attack and accuse and follow, spy someone who is neither president nor a gov or in any government position more than they follow their own government and it's officials!!!!
If you actually paid attention, you would clearly see we are saying the same thing.

I simply and merely wondered why Peter Obi can't be allowed to do whatever he desires as a private citizen without being spotlighted unnecessarily by the media.

I mean... There is nothing strange or wrong in what he is doing that the media has to make such noise about.

Look at how many threads about the man on this forum in the last 48 hours.

While other nations are seriously working out cheaper and more competitive data plans to increase commerce, innovative businesses among young people, and broaden technology.

For a nation where subsidies in Fuel, Education, Power supply, Health care have been truncated, what exactly are the huge number of young unemployed and struggling youths supposed to fall back on or use as prop if internet and communication costs fly off the roof?!!

How exactly will there be increased youth engagement and crime reduction?!!

Think, Nigerian leaders... THINK!!!

Just imagine that Obasanjo got a heart attack and died while Peter was holding his hands and taking pictures... Wahala Pro Max Plus.
Maybe the people who need to seriously rest are the bloggers and journalists chasing him all over the place and forcing his news down our throats.

Except you are saying he controls the entire media of this nation.

How many Peter Obi threads in this forum in the last 48 hours?!!

Lagos traffic is very stressful!

Traffic after Cross-Over Service from Lekki to Sangotedo was hell! Some of us spent 4 hours on the same road, from 2am - 6am.

3 of my cousins have relocated from Lagos to Calabar and Ebonyi state, because of traffic.
Thank you... I have actually spent 6 hours in Lagos traffic. It wasn't funny at all.

I lived in Lekki for 9 years and in Sangotedo Ajah for 7 years now.

Both are in Lagos, 30 minutes drive on Sunday morning. 2 hours drive Monday - Friday after 5am.

In Lekki I am not afraid to come back or go out at any time, Lekki has 24 hours life. Some shops are open, people are moving around 24/7.

In Sangotedo Ajah Farmvill & Canaan Estates. Shops and Schools open from 8:30am and close by 10pm. You hardly see people, on the street after 10pm.

So, not every part of Lagos is fast paced.
You are right... I was actually referring to most parts of Lagos.

The part you mentioned is a very small exception, and let's be honest... That's not somewhere average workaday individuals stay.

You even made me laugh when you talked about 2 hours drive! 2 hours?!! And that's your definition of "non stressful"?!! What about those who don't have the luxury of cars?!!

Spending an hour just to get to work in most parts of Nigeria is the perfect definition of STRESS! grin

Of course, safety would be better due to more security availability compared to less populated cities... I never disputed this.

Well, I understand your defensiveness chief... But let's not nitpick over details.

Fact remains that Lagos is a Metropolis...! Due to no fault of it, chaotic living is normalised.

Everything I wrote about Lagos is true. The amount of stress one endures there in just a month, you won't experience within a year in most cities in Nigeria and Africa.

Even in war-ravaged and cartel-controlled nations, you won't see priests or padres armed, not even the ones who served in the military.

Couldn't he have sent youths in the church service to go and disperse the boys?!!

self-defence for instructor
Nope... Self defense has its legal limits, especially where the other guy wasn't armed.

Even a half decent prosecutor will easily argue that the accused had a far higher physical advantage over the deceased.

Meaning... He could have restrained or subdued him without inflicting such grievous bodily harm that resulted to death.

In simple terms... He didn't need to panel beat the less powerful guy to the point of coma and brain damage in order to defend himself.

After the first punch, he went from self defense to killing mode.

Dear men, there is absolutely nothing dignifying about fighting with your fellow man over any woman!

No woman on Earth is worth that stress... Same goes for you women. No man is worth it!

Anger management is a big flex that will keep preserving lives... If this man had kept his cool, and kicked the hoe out instead of giving in to his primal urge to prove his manliness, he would be alive and moving on to better women by now.

True there,I used to wonder why people love to rush to Lagos..
The life is not for me.
Everyone in a hurry, with stress levels off the chart..
Most of them don't realize it because their brains have become programmed to accept it as normal...! Especially the ones born and raised there.

That's why if or when they are transferred to other states, they see a rude reawakening that they were not truly living.

Well, that's how it is all over the world... Someone living in New York, and moves to Dakota or Wyoming will feel the exact same way.

In summary...!

Life is on a faster lane in Lagos than practically anywhere else in the country.

If you have lived and worked in the heart of Lagos, then relocate to Abuja, Imo, Delta, Kano, etc, you will be shocked at how even your heart rate slows down... A huge burden is practically lifted off your shoulders.

Even your aging process slows down remarkably.

Many Lagosians don't realize it, but they aren't truly LIVING... Just existing! Some have never breathed clean air in years.

Hmm 🤔 another year for this pastor to trend. On this one, I disagree with him
On the Adam and Eve part, he might be overreaching for the sheer fun of it...!

But, he isn't wrong about cigarettes. Same way you can't call hemp sinful.

That's why the Bible talks about moderation.

It's nothing but selective human indoctrination (Doctrines) to place a taboo on certain things claiming they are Divinely abhorrent yet no full scriptural evidence.

If we want to start placing a taboo on things, how do we allow consumption of snails, seafood, pork, etc, while 'haraming' weed, cigarettes, and alcohol?!!

What am I even saying... Don't some clergymen prohibit magazines and tv?

2. The north does not have the variety of processed Garri eg delta red Garri, Ijebu Garri etc as the south

3. What profit will a business man make going up north to bring Garri down south?
You are right, Chief.

Genetic modification...!

One of the reasons people will eat little and still gain weight.

The feeds being fed to these birds are designed in the lab to enhance their cells and 'improve' them.

It's also happening with seeds for planting.

Nigerians won't escape this Westernised stage of human evolution or retrogression, since we have refused to be independent of the Western world.

That's not even much of an issue compared to using "loose" instead of "lose".
