TheCongo2:Morocco fit reach final this time around o. History can be made this year. ![]() |
2 Nil! Ancellotti don dey type him resignation for him mind. ![]() Shebi I talked about this Brazilian defense earlier in this thread... E don happen. England, if una like loseguard with Mexico. |
Reference:Brazil have no one but themselves to blame. Norwegian tactics aside, Brazil should easily be leading by 2 Nil before that Haaland goal. |
Hahahha.... Goal to Norway! Let's just be honest... Brazil needs to go home abeg. They have no real quality in that squad. Smh. |
COOL10:Lol... Well, it would be an amazing thing if he manages to save Brazil from disgrace tonight. Still, Neymar is basically finished at this point. |
heartofcity12:Hahahaha... He still better pass Garnacho and the entire Chelsea front line. He just needs to grow up. |
Lawd... See golden chance wey Endrick troway. ![]() How does a striker miss that?!! A single touch goal. Just wasted Vini's hard work. |
Reference:Yep... Joao Pedro would have scored in that position by now. Richarlison has more striking sense too. |
Edoblakky:You should know dropping Pedro for Neymar was practically out of his hands. Neymar is likely retiring from international football after this world cup, just like Messi and Ronaldo... what would you have any coach do?!! Joao Pedro is young, and still has future opportunities. |
prinsam30:Very selfish and irritating behavior. |
Ekaka14:Thank you... Ball wey he suppose release to Vini immediately. Casemiro needs to shout at him a little. |
Cunha and his constant theatrics... So irritating. Man, stay on your damn feet and strike! Mtchewwww! |
dominique:Too much tension... Vini dey fear too. ![]() |
dominique:Na Attacking players dey miss this kain penalty pass... Heard Vini declined taking it. Una go dey insult Ronaldo... Shebi una see say penalty nor be beans. |
Lol... Penalty missed. You could almost tell from Bruno's face that he was going to miss it. Too much tension... No wonder Vini refused to take it. ![]() This is going to be a mountain for the Samba boys to climb... These Vikings didn't come here to roll over. |
Ekaka14:I wonder what the Ref was hesitating for... That was quite clear. |
Brazil saved by the flag...! Alison looks shaky at that back, and Marq isn't looking sharp. Ancellotti might be starting to really get worried. Who else noticed the height and size difference between the Norwegian players and the Brazilians?!! ![]() |
Well said, Champ... Well spoken. |
Wait... You mean a graduate registered nurse is paid how much?!! Well, healthcare workers still in Naija know wetin dey keep them here sha. |
dominique:It was an overzealous decision... Referee chose to overlook the clear fact that there was no intention to do anything but get the ball. This decision is a huge blow for Belgium. |
Lol... That's bad news for Lukaku and company. ![]() Their QF qualification just got a little more daunting. |
femi4:You are going in circles...! Based on your logic, Morocco shouldn't be heading strongly into another Quarter finals. How many names do you recognize in that squad? How star-studded is this current Spanish squad?!! Let's even agree that Julian was never going to win the trophy with that squad, at least not with the forms of France, England and Argentina... What stopped them from playing good football at least?!! Germany was pathetic! The unserious teams in their group stage helped them qualify. So, why do you keep excusing Julian?!! Then, we can also say Super Eagles failed miserably in the last 8 years because there are no stars, which is a miserable lie. I concur that the current German side falls short of the 2014 winners, but which current team in this tournament has far better players than their former generation of stars?! Is it France? England? Brazil? Is there any way this current generation of footballers compare to the past Golden generation?!! Go from Madrid, Man United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Arsenal, even Chelsea...! |
femi4:Bro, they were stars in their time and season... Today's players are stars in their time. Abi you no longer know the definition of the term?!! Going by your words, only France has a studded team in this world cup. Maybe you will come and also tell us that Portugal is not as star-studded as Morocco, since the latter is playing far better than they are. Maybe Belgium has never had stars too... Tell us that England struggled badly against Ghana and DR Congo because Tuchel has no materials to work with. See ehn... Stars are born and discovered daily. Let's stop making excuses for poor coaching abeg. |
VinnyBaba:Yeah... Havertz needs to leave that false 9 role. Klopp won't have such. |
femi4:Lol... I listed the stars. Mexico, USA and Colombia don't have half of that quality of players, yet they will destroy Germany. The German team that roasted Brazil 7:1 in 2014 wasn't more star-studded than their opponents, neither were they more experienced. They were not more star-studded than the Argentina they beat at the final. They were simply disciplined, well drilled, and hungry, not to mention being cohesive.... These were down to an excellent job by Joachim Loew and his staff. Italy's counter-attacking and Serie A defensive pattern of football was already in decline as at their last World cup triumph. They beat France only by getting Zidane sent off. They got found out fast down the line... Italy has a healthy pool of stars to choose from anytime anyday. Tell me how well their league is doing in Europe now compared to the past. It's basically like saying lack of stars or materials made Super Eagles fail to qualify for the world cup twice in a row or win the AFCON. We both know that's a big LIE. |
Dcaliphate:Must have quit smoking and junk food. Healthy living doew wonders to the body. |
femi4:Lol... You people ehn. What other materials pass Sane, Musiala, Kimmich, Rudiger, Undaz, Woltemode, Gnabry, Wirtz, etc?!! Not to mention other rising stars within the Bundesliga. Mexico and USA don't have a quarter of the quality of players in that German side, yet play far better due to the hunger, skills, discipline and cohesion of their teams. The German team is poorly coached... Simple!!! |
Long overdue... His style of football ought to be what Germany should be playing. Nagelsman was just too inexperienced for that role. |
bentenny:Well, he should have still accepted the handshake... After all, they won. Mbappe is doing too much. This Captain armband should never have been given to him. Dembele or Rabiot should be captain. He doesn't even like passing the ball in dangerous areas. |
bentenny:Paraguay is just slightly better than Ghana...! What they both play is what we call "Haram football". They are a bloody disgrace to South American football. |
OriOko88:That's a cute way of saying a team parks the bus... Where they pull numbers around their half of the field and all around their goal area for most parts of the game. A typical formation for this is 5-4-1. Like, what the hell do you start 5 men at the back?!! Lol! |
This is what needless defending causes...! It worked against Germany, and you thought it would also work against France. |
