I swear, after the match, you could see relief on the faces of the fans that they won by the skin of their teeth 😁
The SHOCK of what could or might have been will keep them awake and on their toes for the rest of the competition.

If only Salah and his team mates will grow some balls and do like Cape verde for the next game.

Messi felt the same FEAR that Ronaldo felt in the previous game.

This world cup has too many dark horses.

Argentina have been given an easy path. They've not met any strong team yet. It's like fifa want Argentina to win the cup
Well, the easy ride always ends at some point.

Cape verde exposed how really vulnerable those Argentines are, and showed the world they can be beaten, anytime, anyday.

It would be interesting to see how they fare against a proper or more complete team of warriors.

France might take it this time.
Sports › Re: Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Thread by Angelfrost(m): 11:26am On Jul 04
Lol... That Cape verde game ehn... I saw real palpable fear in the eyes of Messi, Scaloni and the fans.

Kudos to Cape verde... They did precisely what so called bigger African teams couldn't. They played without fear.

They went toe to toe with the greatest, and almost triumphed.

Just imagine Cape verde winning this during penalties or a lucky winner before full time.

Social media go shut down.

Did you just see that GOAL?
How is this thread not on FP?!!

Cape verde is easily the breakout team of this tournament.

Their courage will go down in history.

Just imagine this drags to Penalties, and Cape verde wins it!

The internet will shut down!

Guilty or not, the court should let him go as this level of punishment already exceeds the amount stolen by far.

Additionally, those who partook in the jungle justice should be arrested and tried.

What manner of evil-minded brutes do we have in Nigeria?!! God have mercy!!!
Politics › Re: 2027: Peter Obi Is Inconsequential – Kenneth Okonkwo by Angelfrost(m): 6:44pm On Jul 03
Lol... If he is inconsequential, why has he been the headache and primary focus of everyone of you since 2022?!!

I would expect someone so inconsequential to be completely ignored and left to his devices, but nope... Everyone of you, from Reno, Sowore down to Onanuga can never go a day without dragging his name into all matters of politics and governance.

Tinubu's men spend more time discussing Obi than actually doing the ineffective and mediocre jobs they are well paid to do.

Stick to the topic. It's about marriage not dating or sex partnership.
His point stands valid especially in Marriage.

Many of you guys are never happy or secure until you subjugate the ladies in your life either mentally, financially or all round.

Lol... Na una really know where una dey see all these women dey marry.

My wife works and earns good money... has been for years, yet we live blissfully everyday, no form of disrespect.

Something must be wrong in many of your marriages, and it can't be all the fault of the women.

A rift between Atiku and Obi camps
A bonus for APC
That's all I see here.

Same people that should've worked together on a joint ticket to unseat Tinubu, they are busy at loggerheads.
That tells you they are no better than the people they want to unseat.

They are all greedy for power.

If the "Love Affair" involved some form of Ghetto or Westside story, Jim Iyke or Emeka Ike would always be the option.

He was offered bigger remuneration, and moved on... Why is this news?!!

Footballers move too when better terms are offered... That doesn't make their former clubs bad, nor does it mean their new clubs are better.

They simply go where the money is better.

Forgetting the level of bills guys abroad pay no be here o.
After collecting the "black tax" monthly, these same entities will come online to brag that it is cheaper and better/easier to live in Nigeria compared to abroad.

How won't it be cheaper, when those abroad are slaving away and sending you monthly or quarterly "taxes"?!

I often visit Nigeria and no one offers even a small gift like a tuber of yam to take back but they know how to ask for help from time to time. A tuber of yam is nothing but the heart behind it matters.

I have stopped giving out money to people in Nigeria, no matter the reason.
It's a serious societal and moral decay in this nation.

Everybody starts begging right from the boarding or arrival gate, down to the checkpoints, even within churches... BEGGARS everywhere, both among the rich and the poor.

All they do is take, take, and try to take more... Everyone is trying to outsmart the other.

Bunch of greedy and self-serving human beings.
Travel › Re: Before Calling The Diaspora Stingy, Ask Yourself This by Angelfrost(m): 5:49pm On Jul 02
Anyone who has the audacity to call another stingy has a ridiculous and silly entitlement mentality... Which basically sums up most average Nigerians, especially those down the economic spectrum.

No one owes you a damn thing... If you ask for money, and the request is turned down or ignored, there is absolutely no need getting wrung out of shape about it.

No matter your situation, no one was created or born to carry your burdens... Especially when not even bound to you by blood.

I deeply hate the begging culture in every sector and cranny of this nation... Who bewitched you people with this Bambiala spirit?!!

Red card well deserved

They should start planning for next game without him
That would be hard... He is the main juice and engine in their attack.

So, they feel robbed and placed at a disadvantage.

How come have they left these people behind.
They have been consistently delivering on every stage for years in a row, and currently ranked high by FIFA.

How many other African teams come close?!!
