Doyin2:You are right... It's all cheap politics for NLC and the equally useless FG. No sincerity, no transparency. |
It will end at 100k... Which almost all states will refuse to implement. |
AK481:Same thing wey make fine guys like Flavour, Wizkid and Burna dey single... They love their personal space and don't need the drama and strings of matrimony. There are so many married people who are unhappy in their unions. |
What a shame...! How can well trained soldiers be taken unawares by ragtag miscreants with guns?!! Wahala for the community now! The perpetrators will be long gone, but innocent young men will go in for it. |
civilserva:It's irrelevant to most Nigerians... Let the opposition cough, and watch how this thread will jump into 4 pages in less than an hour. |
Jonjam269:Normally, I would ask you to clearly prove or point out the exact region or state I'm from (there are several in Nigeria, last time I checked), but why waste my precious time?!! The fact that you actually believe everything good and successful begins and ends in Lagos says a lot about your exposure and experience in life. This is why traveling is very important! Many of you are so myopic, unexposed, and needlessly clannish...! Such a shame! My statement stands... Reduce the hype. Simple! ![]() |
thesicilian:Great assumption...! Please, believe it if it makes your hype seem more plausible. Sha tone down the hype abeg. New York is far more advanced commercially and developmentally than many cities in America, but you won't hear New Yorkers making absurd statements like you Lagos residents (not even Indigenes o) make condescendingly about other states. You won't hear Ontario residents or natives doing the same about other Canadian cities and provinces. A lot of you Nigerians really need lessons in Nationalism and Common sense. No offense! |
Well, una go just wake up and decide say peace is no longer worth having. I was watching a CNN review on the Haitian crisis, as well as Gaza, and I realised that we really take peace for granted in Nigeria. If a quarter of what's happening in Haiti happens in the Southeast, as you people are begging for, it would be TERRIBLE! Una never wan get sense for that region... I pity all of una! Keep allowing your idiot sons who live in Lagos, North, Delta State, and outside Nigeria to set your region on fire. |
thesicilian:Once upon a time I would have believed this laughable hype (yep, nor be today una begin overhype Eko). But, having lived and stayed in most parts of Lagos, and other African nations' cities... I just laugh and shake my head. ![]() Lagos is just privileged... In terms of states where governors had to seriously dig deep to make their states up to standard, I won't even put Lasgidi in the first position. Just imagine if Kano, Akwa-Ibom, and Anambra had the same agelong privileges bestowed on Lagos...! Abeg, make we dey calm down with the needless hype and capping. ![]() |
Nice one...! Just make sure enough life jackets are available for those willing to make the trips. |
How many more fake promises before these 8 years are over??! How do these people recycle such tired gimmicks, yet most citizens still support and believe them?!! Na wa o! |
Since 2011?!!... With what technology and info?!! I honestly can't believe these are the actual killers. |
Jonjam269:Well said... Now, how does what he concerns himself with affect your hard life in today's Nigeria?!! How does his busybody make your life more difficult than what those you elected into offices are doing?!! Why should his personal opinions and concerns be pertinent to your life in this worsening economy?!! Yes, he is a fake messiah and serial party hopper, but what exactly has that got to do with Nigeria, a whole Giant of Africa, falling into the cesspit of hyperinflation and retrogression?!! If you can explain the relevance of Peter Obi even to this thread and topic, I will be more than happy to take notes. No wonder the nation is poorly run... Both leaders and citizens major on mundane and trivial things. |
EmperorCaesar:Whatever he does or doesn't do means absolutely nothing to me. His personal opinions are his right (abi has that changed?) The fact that you and your elected leaders are constantly unsettled and bothered by his utterances clearly shows you don't know what you are doing. So, what logic are you yapping about?!! My focus is clear Sir... Tinubu and other elected leaders are accountable to me. My focus is on them, not on people who lost elections and are criticising what they see as poor leadership. I honestly don't know why learned people like you (I assume you are) will leave important issues like the activities of those responsible for the nation's welfare, and be chasing shadows, allowing well paid cunts like Reno to mentally derail you with Peter Obi issues. |
Wow... Can't believe this man had high hopes of regaining the White House. Can't even believe he got in there for 4 years... How did he even manage that?!! Americans sef. Well, Biden is literally coasting home to victory, practically unopposed as it stands. |
Yet, they continue to ignore you, Reno! This is like a child crying desperately for attention. |
richie240:Thank you for clarifying. Yes, it was a sincere and heartfelt question. I asked because I can't understand why a group claiming to be fighting to liberate its people would want to prevent their children from writing key exams thereby retarding their education. At the end of the day, terrorists often delude themselves into believing their atrocities are for the common good. |
I actually bought rice, stew and beef for 600 on the Island recently...! If I was a heavy eater, I would have had to cough up twice that amount. Still, it was wholesome and satisfying. Na una know wetin una dey find for all these fast food restaurants. Fast food and top restaurants are where you go to chill and enjoy the ambience. What you pay so highly for is not the food. |
Raskimonojendor:Yes he is...! But, still doesn't answer my questions! Well, that aside... The 'non-tribalistic' rulers we have been electing to lead this diverse country, how have they fared since?!! Is Nigeria really doing well like this under the non-tribal leadership of Apc?!! It's irritating and tiring to keep alluding to Peter Obi's criticisms and inability to lead whenever things go wrong in this nation...! Peter Obi is not and should never be a primary focus to the serious issues affecting Nigeria's security and economy. Can we just give Peter Obi a rest for second?!! He is a private citizen, and whether we like it or not, he has every right to make comments... His words don't determine how well or badly this nation is led. |
Raskimonojendor:How so?!! Is he the elected President and Commnader-in-Chief of the armed forces of Nigeria?!! Is he governing any stage in Nigeria?!! Is he directly or indirectly involved in the leadership and security of his state and nation?!! Shouldn't you be asking why and how such nonsense is permitted to happen under the leadership of elected governors and the head of state??! |
Please, tell me the difference between Ipob and Boko Haram...! |
I'm just interested in knowing or guessing how much of that money these infidels will share among themselves...! ![]() We will be back to lamenting about power supply and generation issues fews years down this road. |
nedekid:As in... I understand they need to lie and paint stories to help his mediocre administration along, but aren't they taking the lying and exaggeration too far?!! I know most Nigerians don't have sense, but this playing on the collective intelligence of the masses is pushing the envelope. |
Buhari technically defeated BH within 6 months in office, according Liar Mohammed and Apc members. Now, 8 years after, his successor is defeating the same technically defeated terror group. Seems the word "defeat" now has a whole new meaning...! |
Kharol1234:Lol... Talk about praying amiss. Whenever you pray, even the Angels go dey laugh at such ridiculous prayer point. ![]() |
Fergie001 and Sylve11 know my choice...! |
Sigh... Just look at the cheap materials used to support a building of multiple storeys. ![]() No wonder some Nigerians avoid contracting their personal buildings to their fellow countrymen. Must we cut corners and be corrupt in everything??! |
Congrats to the living legend...! Still outscoring far younger strikers at almost 40. |
This is putting things mildly...! Honestly, Nigeria's GDP is almost nonexistent! If you think things are currently bad, just wait... The worst is still rearing up. |
seunmsg:I disagree... The truth is what it is. Tertiary education beyond professionally impactful careers like Law, Medicine, and some sensitive aspects of Engineering are a luxury, oftentimes meaningless in the grand scheme of existence. How many university graduates in Nigeria today still remember or function in their disciplines??! In any case, a lot of university graduates are not truly educated in every sense of the word. Education goes beyond getting a certificate. |
Idiots! You say the Nigerian state is oppressing you, yet you turn around to oppress the same people you claim to be fighting for. If not stupidity, what do y'all intend to gain from obstructing the academic progress of innocent children by preventing them from writing their waec papers, knowing fully well that there is no way on earth that exam can be shifted?!! You Igbo people should stop being cowards, and ostracise these imbeciles once and for all. It can never end well when unlearned and selfish miscreants are given so much power in the name of fighting for a farcical sovereignty. Make una dey get sense. |
