Let's go there.

4 slots already booked in the round of 16 with no European team yet
A monumental disgrace to have powerhouses like Germany and Netherland out already.

There might be more upsets today.

NYSC › Re: More Details Of The NYSC Reform - Hadiza Bala Usman by Angelfrost(m): 4:27pm On Jun 30
Teaching and training them is one thing... Empowering and ensuring that they function in those areas remains the koko.

Without mobilization after training, then you guys are just doing the usual eye service to add to your book of "Statistical Achievements".

If there are no industries, business grants, paid mentorship or internship schemes, etc, then this is either a huge joke or another avenue to siphon funds as usual.

Scrap the damn program in its entirety... It isn't unifying the nation in any way.

Move this scheme into the universities... Work with the school administrators, bring in technocrats and industrial giants to help mentor and raise the next generation of entrepreneurs... Give grants and soft loans to help them get started... provide security and stable electricity.

Do these, and watch the nation explode into a hub of industrial and entrepreneurial greatness.
Politics › Re: Prophet Elijah Bamidele Slams Peter Obi, Says Nigerians Will Apologise To Tinubu by Angelfrost(m): 1:35pm On Jun 30
Prophet or whatever you claim to be... Was Tinubu not among those that pushed Jonathan out of office?!!

A Southerner working against his region just to achieve his own personal ambition without caring what befell the nation under a clueless extremist (Buhari).

So, what's new or so special about Tinubu that he should escape the same fate?!!

Seriously more than not, I am rooting for Ivory Coast. I so much want them to move on, to keep climbing up.
I seriously hope they win their match against Norway this evening.
Til then
Norway will dismantle them if their defense fails to wake up...!

As for their attack, Diomande and Amad need to learn to keep this simple and moving, no room for all that nonsense showboating or trying to run rings around defenders... They should release and square up passes quickly.

Quick thinking and clinical passes within the box.
Politics › Re: Insecurity: ‘he’s Done His Bit,’ Adeboye Defends Tinubu by Angelfrost(m): 9:31am On Jun 30
Sigh... Pastor Adeboye... Maybe it's time to finally quit commenting on Politics and Nigerian matters.

I honestly can't defend you on this matter.

You guys want Nigeria to be the only nation on Earth where a Commander-in-chief is excused from the failures of those directly under his command!

That's the perfect recipe for true DISASTER.

If that's the case, what was then the point of protesting and campaigning against Jonathan?!!

That basically means Buhari performed excellently as President.

We need to seriously stop promoting and accepting MEDIOCRITY at all levels in this nation... Leaders resign and go to jail for far less in developed nations.

It's a very big possibility fir Argentina to get eliminated by Cspr Verde. Messi go cry water if that happens. Football has changed seriously. You can allow your opponent to waste their energy and get more possession while you just strategically wait to pounce on their errors and wins. Na that one dey pain pass.
Netherlands almost pulled that off against Morocco.

Morocco outplayed them for the entire game, yet they almost won with that lucky strike from Gakpo. With better defending, they would have nicked it... They could have won it during the shootout if their players were not being stupid by playing such weak penalty shots (Kluivert, Summerville and Timber).

Timber was just outrageous, tossing that ball away like that.

I rate Nigeria team above Morocco,
I rate Senegal above Morocco

Remove mismanagement, corruption and bad psychology from Super Eagles, no team can beat us easily. The best any team should get is a draw
Nigeria and Senegal are also good, but not yet on Morocco's level.

While Nigeria's attack will bring results, their defense won't hold up against elite teams... Senegal is currently all over the place for some weird reasons.

Morocco, on the other hand, is practically SOLID in almost all departments, especially midfield and defense... They are the only African team that effectively man-mark for over 90 minutes.

They may not have Nigeria's attacking and finishing quality, but they are more balanced, relentless and complete.

Morocco is the most in-form and exceptional African team to grace the world cup since Roger Milla's Cameroonian side.

This world cup has shown that big names mean nothing... It's not enough to have star-studded teams but no real game plan.

Morocco is miles ahead of:

Portugal
Netherlands
Belgium
Germany
...Maybe even England

Only France and Argentina stand above them, and not even by much tbh.
