Honestly, we really need to question PDP governors about the way they ran Abia, Delta , and others into the ground since 1999. |
nairalanda1:It's not about Nigerians telling themselves the truth...! Have those in charge of the nation ever come out clean about the way forward??! I have said it time and again that the Petroleum sector is long overdue for total deregulation. But, when you fail to be transparent with leadership, there can be no headway. These theories and realities we talk about here are alien noise to the average Nigerian citizen out there. Let your leaders come out clean, they refused. Same thing with Power supply and the national currency. You can't cover a wound forever. |
Jonathan's administration didn't perform half as badly as this, yet he was hounded out of that office. Suddenly, everyone is quietly and sheepishly adjusting to a shocking and abnormal level of suffering never witnessed since the Civil war. You Nigerians are weird, hypocritical and cowardly!!! Spits!!! ![]() |
Sigh... Why on Earth would anyone be so desperate to be called a Lagosian?!! Even to the point of enduring such shocking living conditions. Prison inmates in some countries live far better than this. The only difference between the way some Nigerians in Lagos live and those imprisoned is the "Freedom of Movement". LAGOS is not the only state in Nigeria... Can't you guys make effort to succeed in other places??! |
At this point, it's already out of the hands of hypocritical America and Sleepy Joe. Let's all sit tight, arms folded, and watch Israel perpetrate one of the greatest acts of genocide since Hitler. Ironic that Jews were at the receiving end of such once upon a time. |
Menclothing1:What about the Billions and trillions being looted from your nation's coffers??! Are they not enough to make Nigeria great??! |
Inspirer1:These same people in power and their supporters kept mute while the last administration squandered Billions of Dollars (borrowed funds) on PROJECTS that have not and will never yield economic returns or drive growth. Now, these ones are in a rush to splurge more scarce resources on projects that will go the same way, while making the masses poorer with deceptive tax policies. |
correctguy101:Up till now, not a single visible move to massively reduce cost of governance. Billions of Dollars are being spent on projects that have no long or short term benefits to the same people you intend to tax away. Even if you want to practice Capitalism, why not create the environment that will enable it thrive??! Massive and widespread poverty will never make investments and consumer-centered businesses thrive or survive. No wonder many top companies and investors are fleeing, while the ones that should have been brought in are avoiding the nation like a plague. |
See ehn... I have absolutely nothing against taxation for the great need to raise revenue nationwide. However, who exactly are you taxing??! The over 70 Million working people that can barely feed, transport, and access medicare?!! If you tax away the bulk of what these people are barely managing, how do they survive, pending when those generated revenues become beneficial to them??! ...And in such an obvious corrupt climate, what is the guarantee that these taxes will ever be used for the common good of average Nigerians??!! Questions... Questions... Questions!!! |
These ones don already comot... dem just dey use grammar to cover up. |
SenecaTheYonger:Exactly what I faulted in another thread about Victor Osimhen's earnings. The Op had to gleefully convert it to Naira, and I simply wondered why we constantly feel the need to obsess about foreign currencies. Even those that produce and sell Fufu in the streets, people who have never seen or touched Dollars in their lives, will tell you that they are increasing prices of their products because the Naira is crashing against the Dollar. It has ceased to be funny... It's beginning to look like Nigerian leaders and people are massively stupid. If we focused this much energy and time on boosting local production, ending insecurity for good, generating more power, and exporting more, this nation would be way ahead. |
Sigh... Must you people always convert the money to Naira?!! Does Osimhen spend that over there?!! Any small opportunity, una go wan try show how devalued your nation's currency be. Na mostly Nigerians dey do this kind abnormal thing... You people are so obsessed with foreign currencies. |
More like Thomas Tuchel's poor and fearful coaching decision sends Madrid to the final. Bayern was in full control of that game till he made those dumb substitutions. |
Yeah... Election is over. They are no longer of any use. |
OfeAchi:Harry Kane's presence on that pitch disrupted Madrid's game massively, as he was consistently a danger and threat to them whenever they tried to attack. In the absence of him scoring, he would have ensured Bayern stayed pressing till the end. Tuchel na mumu Coach. |
OfeAchi:That guy has the coaching instinct of Serie A... Defend! Defend!! and Defend some more! |
blowjohn:They will come attacking and playing fluidly like eager teenagers, while experienced Ancellotti and his men will likely score the needed winner. I pray and hope to be proven wrong. |
edenex:Precisely what I have been saying since last season... The defensive-minded clown has reduced a hyper-attacking Bayern team to the level of Lazio of Italy. |
Wotowotoman:I wonder what Dortmund intends to do in that final... They will need a miracle to snatch this title from the hands of the highly experienced Madrid! Meanwhile... What exactly was Tuchel thinking about removing Harry Kane??! He wanted to defend a goal lead against Madrid?!! What an idiot!!! Tuchel cost Bayern this game! |
Real Madrid is simply relentless...! Bayern is literally helpless right now. See Madrid, see another UCL title. ![]() |
Maybe that's why tertiary education should no longer be subsidized...! |
Nope... Jailbreak increased because you imbeciles don't properly secure your jails, not because they were renamed. How is this man the Senate president of this country??! |
Anything to be in the spotlight...! |
Congrats to them... Love can be found in the most unexpected places. You just have to be of good character. |
A dime of that money will never be accounted for. |
EreluRoz:You can cover a decaying sore for as long as you wish...! When gangrene sets in, even those far from you will smell and see the damage the wound has done to your body. You can't hide light... It must bust through any covering of darkness. If great things are happening in Nigeria, no enemy or propagandist can keep the world from seeing them. So, if people are constantly showing the negatives, what's stopping you and your leaders from countering those negatives with the greater positives??! You can't cover sickness forever... It's been over 2 decades since the return of Democracy. Nigeria ought to be far ahead of this curve. Speaking the truth about bad leadership is true Patriotism. |
Naira Depreciates Transparency Depreciates Quality of life Depreciates Power Supply Depreciates Fuel Supply Depreciates All these several months after removing subsidies, and claiming that refineries have been revamped and are functional. Propaganda and Lies have expiry dates. |
Ferdinandu:The thing is... They understand the game they are playing. They don't expect a dime from those people they picked randomly. It's all a scheme to get their share of the corruption in the system. Kidnapping, terrorism, white elephant Road projects, ghost welfare schemes, etc. These are the ways politicians and their foot soldiers move and launder money out of this country. |
They kidnap regular Nigerians and demand close to a Billion Naira...! These highly connected lowlifes are clearly requesting their share of the National cake directly from the Presidency. You can't tell me they don't know those people they kidnapped have never laid eyes on such money in their lives. |
Yeah... Yet, the number one citizen of the country keeps going on medical tourism abroad. The medical industry and sector is so great that all leaders can't even walk into any hospital for routine health checks. Can't you people lie responsibly?!! |
The only thing I envy or miss about singleness is that amount of 'me time'. That space to mentally roam. Still, being married is awesome! I had my fill of bachelorhood. Everything in life na phase. ![]() |
edenex:You've said it all! City should be in the finals hands down. |
