With the above article,banks are in play once again and they can now sell dollars to BDC.Meaning they will earn more income,expect some bulls by next week on banking stocks.

Renaissance Capital and CSL Stockbrokers have both placed a “BUY” rating on United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, saying it is capable of generating returns of more than 100 per cent in the next 12-month period.

The “buy” rating on UBA, underlines its attractiveness despite the general downward trend at the stock market.Renaissance Capital, in its recommendation forecasted that the bank’s stocks would remain bullish, adding that its share price could rise to N9.40 per share. CSL Stockbrokers, a member of FCMB Group, also expressed optimism that UBA could trade at N7.21 per share in the next 12 months.

You remember that Buhari stipulated in his asset declaration that he owns some shares in Skye Bank and now he may have taken over the bank through proxies.

It may take less before they release the result,its better not to sell because they might have released that notice on purpose to create mopping up opportunities for their subsidiaries and also to justify the dividend.They might pay more than 25k this time around.Do your DD!

What is THEUGLYGUY on?,Cheap weed is bad.Market has the final say but in a way for the stock to stay stable till now perhaps is time for UCAP to rise further.Just a thought!

Nothing suspicious here.Skye and FBNH did a lot of risky lending to politically exposed persons in the last administration.Even the directors of both banks were cutting deals and stealing from their banks.

The difference now is that Skye cannot absorb the shock cos it's a small bank punching above it's weight.FBNH is barely struggling to survive and will go the way of Skye if they repeat the mistake of the last few years.

Why appointing a man who mismanaged his own bank to AMCON ?

The problem of skye is suspicious,just know that the head of amcon is former MD of the bank that was acquired by skye bank.

Just small pull back and then Access will stabilize at 6.50 while UBA will establish at 5.30.Not the time to exit those stocks.Pull back is unavoidable but we should pray for positive news that will have greater impact on the banks.
