gbolah4real: This statement does not make any sense what so ever-
are all the companies going to release results at the same time? the 'mini bulls' we have had here and there, have they been the result of 'results'? and why do you need the market to have a 'mini bull'? could it be because you are heavily invested in NSE's most sluggish 1st tier bank stock and realise only a general market upswing will stop it from further price decline and get it off the ground, northward?
my advise to you and your FBNH allies is simply this - leave FBNH alone and pay attention to the discussions regarding other stocks - there are stocks out there that do not need any market 'mini bull'
Good morning to you |

Mfunkynation: pls huz, i some1 to teach me how to average down on a stock gotten @ 16.86 n bail out wit my full capital invested intact. thankz I was into averaging down previously but later realize it won't make you a good trader. Why not hold the stock if its fundamentally sound stock and wait for at least mid next year to sell by that time it could recover and for now figure out a new stock and put your money in that one.Remember buy low and sell high. |

FBN price has remain too low for long time and early next year it might go down as low as 1.80Naira unless there is improvement in their balance sheet. That bank really need some great news to move up so that the rest of the banking stocks can move too. |

fxuser: CBN - back with another fx intervention strategy to settle some back logs thru another unclear fwd contract - continues wt d travelex / fbn & BDC arrangee at 375/$ - banks no longer able to fund foreign trnx using local debit cards Do you think banks will suspend the ban on foreign use of Naira debit cards. |

Godisfaithful: Some banks like Stanbic, UBA, Diamond, etc. finally stops dollar transactions on naira cards. This will really make the dollar to naira crash more. Let's keep enjoying the change They did it to spite CBN on the recent ban and stopping international withdrawal completely will crash Naira to 600-1$.These banks are working against everything. |

[quote author=Intendy post=49999729]though ucap result is good but investors are looking beyond the result.the good eps is a reflection of the sales of it's 50% stake in UBA Metrolopolitan Life Ltd. so the question now is what next are they going to sell going forward. I'm still here with good profit margin but looking to get out @ a better profit.
Market reaction is because they are not getting any dividend for now until next year,so why do you want traders to die on top.I guess is an opportunity for accumulation before it cross 3Naira. |

locodemy: 50 kobo multiply by 6,000,000,000 units OS is #3 billion.......Are they going to pay this from their PAT or shareholders fund?......Well any company that pays this amount to shareholders is not suppose to be a penny stock again Again the EPS for now is 88k.They will pay from that as it stands for their earnings and it may increase depending on the 4th quarter. |

From the look of things UCAP might pay 50k,seems the management is after brand valuation because they may opt to sell some stakes in the near term. |
