Stock of a profitable company will just go down like that without anything to buttress your point.Or maybe you mean you will like to buy at 8?If so put it on your watchlist and maybe in some years you could get it or never. |

locodemy: 2017 is not 2016..........most kobo stocks you are seeing now has EPS 0.50k and above.............expect 100% return in them this year. True but my point is mix your stocks and don't chase only cheap stocks as more expensive stocks will shape the market this year.Beside FCMB is undervalued stock. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 12:28pm On Jan 11, 2017 |
locodemy: 100% is certain Maybe but expensive stocks also return more than 100%.The best stocks of 2016 were expensive and small medium but not cheap.Cheap stocks without fuel has acceleration limit. |

locodemy: Other stocks one should watch out this year are those stocks with small free float eg........wapic,sterling bank, diamond bank,ccnn,oando.........whenever they are on demand, the price movement no get part2. You love cheap stocks. |

FO market marker is bad.Stock is ready to move but he purposely decelerate the upward movement so that some impatient monkeys can keep selling to him at low price since he already knew result will change the status of the stock. There is need to cautious in this market and think deeply before sentimentally selling off your stock. |

jarkbauer: Sorry how is restriction an irresponsible act? Why not query them instead. You can't restrict the forex that I sourced by myself because it has nothing to do with CBN directive.Only CBN can do that and there is no sense in that. All the banks follows due process as laid down by CBN.Its questionable and I don't know why they have the gut to be doing that. You can't use their card anymore and now they are restricting access to your own USD.No need to query an organization that defies logic but just to dump them and ask your loved ones to do the same.Lets leave their inefficiencies and concentrate on market. |

STANBIC is not a responsible bank. How do you justify restriction of USD account to 7,500Monthly when I am the one sourcing for the dollar.I will close my accounts with them slowly. |

Chibuking81: When the road was clear, oando projected the settlement of their debt around 2019, when the price of oil was still above #100, what of now the price of crude oil is below #60, with huge debt and some banks on their neck for their money. Increase in PAT will drive the price of Oando and reduction in their debt will add value too.All the companies owes money but ability to service the fund is what count.Lets all wait and see. |

lancee: Sir Ange, what is ur opinion if u re for dividend on sound stock ..do u sell on cap appre or wait for div Some are taking profit Asap Some stocks I will sell once your capital appreciation is good enough and some I will hold till Q1 of 2017 because I know they will deliver. The problem now is are they going to release result from this month end till next month or it will be the usual march/april date.If result is not coming now especially for banks, then it may be a bull trap but if the circular from NSE is anything to go by then I believe things will go fine from here on.But only oil stock and consumer goods usually release early result especially FO should release by 31st of January according to their tradition. |

See how NSE take call passengers for different buses and now dump them before their bus stop.Anyway the truth is big pocket trader don hold their cash to control the crazy bull before it hit them hard on their head. |

Coolcash1: Please tell the pessimist @peterichy.... Even in the heat of falling crude oil prices the price didn't drop to that. Is it now it will now crash to 900 kobo...Very dumb post @peterichy...
I am certain FO will declare dividend higher than that of 2015. Yeah it seems is the result that will move the price up and some people already knew that by not allowing it to go higher so that they can accumulate enough to sell later when the stock is on full bid post result. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 4:08pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
No way FO will drop to 9Naira as at today because their eps is not bad.Ignore the above and don't panic-sell your FO. |

locodemy: observed but what of if it doesnt respond as you supposed? secondly, what of the illiquidity of the stock? Illiquidity is not the problem but market maker has created a margin that you can sell because is very hard to sell at a prevailing rate. The good thing is to buy it low and sell in the medium term higher. The fundamentals of the stock is not as bad as that of Diamond but don't expect the level of activity of fcmb in Sterling. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 1:19pm On Jan 07, 2017 |
locodemy: Hm! This is nice article.i think i have to stay clear from some of these tier2 banks until the coast is cleared. For fcmb, everyone is aware of its recent fortunes and thats why the volume and price actions speaks for it.thanks sir. I think you should stay away from Diamond but sterling just don't buy more than 1M units and you could make 100% on it.That stock is a solo/juju stock. |

rebekah2011: FCMB, Fidelity, Sterling, Diamond all dey the same category. The optimism in FCMB is what I do not understand. The optimism is FCMB/FIDELITY could pay better dividend vs their current price compare to the other two. |

Based of their last result what do u think sir
I couldn't login since 31st don't know why , but am good now I believe the stock will do wonder this time around judging from their turn around and its cheap. For short to medium term,FCMB is good.If you are having problem with your broker you should have a second account so that if one disappoint the second one can be used to trade.I wish you a pleasant and prosperous 2017. |

ExLaidback: No you didn't understand me. i JIJO a bit last year October wit FCMB and afterwards took position for this period. I've had it in my portfolio since October last year after Q3. I'm saying the bull we are seeing this week and maybe next is child's play of what FCMB is capable of. I've been one of those recommending FCMB with fundamental analysis since last year - check my posts.
I don't expect it to cross 1.20 (max 1.25) before pulling back this time in preparation for the main ride. But of course i could be wrong. Ok,got it. |
