On point.Apc could have given another candidate a chance but unfortunately, they presume he is the best.

I don't think they presume him to be the best..what is the point of fielding someone u know can't win u an election even if he is the best..They can pick a second best and surround him with the best and they will still achieve same result which is good governance..my opinion though

I get your point, u must also remember Nigerian's are wiser now and they are looking forward to a better nation..The fact he was a military man does not mean he can't be kicked out, this is democracy not a military dispensation..Now talking about not fielding Buhari as APC candidate, it wud have been an easy win for the opposition..Politics is about the game of numbers, who more can bring that numbers for APC than Buhari. Though I would have preferred someone else but I don't think he is a fanatic like some people term him to be...If he does not perform like I said, we will kick him out come next election!

I tend to concur with his statement cos there are some people in his cabinet sabotaging his effort who I believe to be unintelligent..e.g, I wonder what that Doctor turned journalist is still doing there. I think Jonathan needs to fire many of them if he gets to win the next election though I hope he does not

Truthfully they are going through a lot and they shud earn their pay...A person vying for the post of a president shud know wat the job entails and the difficulties that comes with it..Its like being paid a large sum of money to manage a company and u keep complaining the job is too hard, why not step down if its too hardn after all u are paid a large sum to manage it

I have a very good respect for tinubu. This writeup is a masterpiece. My only reservation for him is his religious insensitivity in allowing Muslims taking major position in his party while marginalising other religions. The part of Pengassan's demand involving the sacked woman and Total has nothing to do with Jonathan. That one is purely a matter of Pengassan trying to forcibly make Total re-hire a recalcitrant ex-employee. And just so you know, Total's branch of pengassan is not in support of her nor this strike.

But every other part of their demand reeks of sheer political sabotage. Why is it now that Pengassan decides to strike for the passing of the PIB?

That would have been a suicide mission for Apc..Politics is about numbers, for Apc to win the need the numbers in the north and who more to provide that than Buhari.. That said, under a normal circumstances Fashola would have been a good choice for presidency

Try and follow the demands of Pengassan and you will realise that the part the concerns Total has to do only with the sacking of that woman. And I know the full story behind that womans sack and it is well justified and no amount of lies will make Total change its position. Total has even released a press statement to this effect..

The rest of Pengassan demands are why I think they are targeting the president. Read the reasons for the strike and do the maths yourself.

As much as I agree with ur point but what u fail to point out was Pengasan and co has always held the country to ransom over any aggrieve issue..tow their truck they will go on strike, arrest their staff they will go on strike. Its just their way since I can remember, so I doubt if this is about Jonathan
