Kemade2007: Hello mummies, my 2weeks + baby enjoy sleeping with her chest down. She always stop crying whenever she sleeps that way. Is it good or I should stop It is not recommended for babies tender as yours to sleep chest down. This is because babies who have not gained neck control can choke if they mistakenly sleep face down. However, if you are sure you will be watching her and not leave her by herself for a long time, you can allow her sleep because they sleep longer that way most times |

Mumaraoluwa: Newborn mummies that has a toddler without any support. How do u cope? Am exhausted and frustrated. No support from my husband, cooking, cleaning, laundry, all on me alone. Hubby should support you. Talk to him or get someone to come support you. The person might be coming to help during the day alone so you can rest that period. I understand your situation, i gave birth during lockdown so it was just me and my husband taking care of baby and my toddler... Not so easy but hubby was very helpful. We were able to pull through. So please stop forming superwoman from today, let your husband know you need help. No go wound yourself o |

I heard some babies skip crawling stage. How true is this. Thanks for your responses There is no cause to be worried about him not crawling at 8 months. Don't allow people who says their own babies crawl at 4 months and started walking at 6 months pressurize you o. |

Jaynifer51: Good afternoon mummies and happy Sunday, please the inner lips of my 6weeks old baby are black, it was so when he was born but slowly cleared up after a few weeks, I’m concerned because it has turned black again. Please has anyone witnessed such and did it clear up on its own abi it remained black. Give it time, it will clear. Happened to my DS and was a bit worried too because it wasn't like that for my first. It was as if it wll be like that forever but it cleared all by itself. |

Ayaoye: Good day mamas please how can I treat cold on my almost 2 weeks old baby, she got caught it from her brother. Her nose is filled with mucus, I have applied shear butter on four head and bridge of nose, little silver bird to her cloths. She is finding it abit hard to breath when you lay her to sleep 2 weeks is tender o. Can you get the mucus out to ease her breath. Continue to breastfeed her well. Sliver bird on her cloth may be too close and choking as long as she's wearing the cloth. Why not put it in one of her washcloth or handkerchief and place it around her bed. Also, i think you can try steam inhalation with just a few drops of sliver bird, and you might not need to cover both of you with towel during the process (my opinion tho) because I think baby is tender. About the Shea butter, just a little, put on the bridge of the nose and her soft spot ( not forehead) kisses to her |

gladmom: He pooed today. Sometimes 4 days or 3 days inbetween. @the bolded is why i ask. Anytime my son doesn't poo in an interval of more than 3 days, his poo is always like a paste not like the egusi like poo. Its normal. I guess it because all the milk are fully digested hence the absence of the egusi stuff |

Nameflow: Good day everyone, my baby was Born before time and has since been on exclusive breastfeeding but my wife is having issues with lactation.. He's 12 weeks old and 3 weeks adjusted for age. Which formula feed would you likely recommend? Thanks. First time parent. I am sure of NAN 1 cos I have used it before. But I think any baby milk with 1 will work just fine. Your pocket will determine. |

Mummy4life1: Hello Ma'am,
After the delivery of my boy. I saw my first mestration three month after, which is on 5/07/2020 even though it lasted for seven days but my mestration is for four days before delivery but uptil now, I've not seen my second mestration and today's date is 5/08/2020. I did home Pregnancy test and it was negative.
Did any one experience the same? Are you sure its saliva? Is he always well burped before you lay him down? Check that. |

Mzora: Mamas pls help My darling son was circumcised today.how do I care for it to enable quick healing?I was told to run warm water on it and apply pennicilin skin ointment .hope this should help? I think it depends on the type of circumcision that was done for you. The person that did it should tell you. But i know if it's the ring method, you should apply olive oil often so the ring can drop fast. I did ring for my 2 boys and that was the instruction. |

Jaynifer51: Help!!!! I just found out my baby has jaundice My first had it too and we had to go through phototherapy, the stress was something else and isn’t something I want to go through again especially with the pains I’m going through right now, I’m not saying I won’t do it if it gets to that but our next appointment is on Wednesday and I’d love to try out any natural remedies until then It's not cool to wait till Wednesday before taking your baby for treatment. Jaundice level do increase very fast. One can stop it from further spreading but can't undo any damage it has done. So please, attend to it fast. For starters, do SB test to know the level. |
