When my Uncle was eastern director of NNPC.. I was small then... But I never forgot... He told my elder brother that's.. . Them the elite will never allow the Nigerians to be comfortable because a poor man is easier to control...

When it's time to bring money to loan to Nigeria u hear 5bn, 3bn, 3bn for agricultural equipment.. . But when the government spends on them selfs u hear hundreds of billions

This money can comfortably change the lives of over 80,000 Nigerians with 3 million loans
Or 160,000 Nigerians with 1.5 million Naira loans... and this will generate and instant.. . 400,000 jobs.. And improve our GDP by over 3 billion dollars
Why are our politicians wicked?? How in the name of God will someone steal 2 billion naira..?? ?
Why not go into production and male cool cash
My dear, the situation is sooo pathetic! Sometimes, I get angry...very angry! with stories like these!

There are many...in fact, numerous ways to solve problems or tackle situations. But no! Most of us...especially people in charge of affairs only work to service their pockets! They don't even kno dat u can even have more if u do it right!

There are some expenditures that must not be heard anymore in govt circles! Not in this period of dearth of funds!

We have eager youths (millions of them) hungry to use time, finance, raw materials, etc to do exploits! But just like your uncle said, you can only manipulate people as long as they are poor, unfulfilled & left @ d lower echelons of the society...

But I know that 'ò gagh'adigide'...it wont remain like this forever!!! SMH 4 Naija

MyX1:
Contrary to claims by the
Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) that they did
not receive any Notice of Appeal
from Governor Okezie Ikpeazu or
an injunction stopping the
Commission from issuing a
Certificate of Return to Dr. Uche
Ugah, the Attorney General of
Abia State, Mr. Umeh Kalu, has
said that INEC lied in its claims.
A proof service has shown that
the Commission did indeed
receive the two important
documents and it was signed for
by Saleh N. Ibrahim, Senior
Clerical Officer at the Legal
Services Department of the
Commission's Headquarters,
Abuja, who stamped the Notice
of Appeal and Injunction with
the Commission's official stamp
by 12.50pm on Wednesday, June
29, 2016.
"It's unfortunate that INEC said
that it was not served. But the
truth is that they were served. I
have a proof to that. Saleh N.
Ibrahim, Senior Clerical Officer
at the Legal Services Department
of the Commission's
Headquarters, Abuja, who
stamped the Notice of Appeal
and Injunction with the
Commission's official stamp by
12.50pm on Wednesday, June
29, 2016.
"With the foregoing, it is now
clear that the Commission had
no reason or cause to proceed
with their dangerous action of
issuing a Certificate of Return to
Dr. Uche Ogah when it was
clearly in receipt of a Notice of
Appeal and Stay of Execution
expressly forbidding them from
taking any further action on the
Judgment of Justice Okon Abang
of the Federal High Court
pending the determination of the
Appeal in the case.
"It is rather surprising that the
Commission could lend itself to
be used for an act capable of
destabilizing a State in Nigeria
with the attendant consequences
for anarchy and breakdown of
law and order." Kalu said.
The Abia State Government
wishes to reiterate for the
umpteenth time that Dr. Okezie
Ikpeazu remains the Governor of
Abia State irrespective of
whatever order was issued by the
Federal High Court and the
consequential actions of the
Independent National Electoral
Commission (INEC) pending the
full exhaustion of all judicial
avenues of seeking redress.
Abia State is a peaceful State
consisting of law-abiding citizens
but their patience should not be
stretched and their civility taken
for granted. The citizens of Abia
State will resist any attempt to
subvert their will which they
freely expressed at the polls
and
which was affirmed by the
Supreme Court
.
Who be the people wey vote for am? Is it a hidden fact that you've already lost ur legitmacy a very long time ago?

MrDavidson:
A common sense reply back to the writer: The problem we're currently facing didn't begin with the current administration. Before GEJ left, power generation had dipped to nearly 0MW and the pain of crass embezzlement and low oil prices was already taking its toll on Nigerians with more than 25 states unable to pay workers' salaries. It was when Buhari came in that states were given billions of naira in loans. Buhari also paid nearly N500bn being a backlog of what GEJ admin owed to oil marketers.

If this problem had begun a year after Buhari came in, I'd have had every cause to blame him, but not so. The problem was already on before he came in.
Come...wey u? Nò let me release my anger oo! See this one oo...#500billion was released & so what? I thought your Napoleon said that there was nothing like subsidy? Nd'ire ite-n'ani!!! Nine-tongued leaders!!

Politics › Dear Mr. Ebele: An Epistle To The Most Abused President by AngryNigerian(op): 8:01am On Jun 30, 2016
Dear Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, though I was one of those who made the system hot for you when you were in office through endless articles and criticisms on national dailies and online blogs, I regret to say that just within 13 months that you relinquished the insignia of power, the prices of essential commodities have gone out of the reach of common people.Things are so bad that Nigerians now steal pot of soup on fire.

Nigeria is now drifting towards the Abacha era. Nigerians have watched and are still watching in aghast as things have suddenly gone awry. No essential basic amenity is working in Nigeria as I write. Your successors have refused to tar a kilometer of road since you left and those roads that you constructed, rehabilitated and reconstructed have been abandoned. The Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) has been technically scrapped. Of course, things were not rosy under you but today, the situation is worse and pathetic.

Dear Ebele, I want to concur with your critics that you presided over a festival of corruption but common people never had it bad this way when you were in Abuja. We thought the economy was bad then but today it is hemorrhaging. The only thing working presently in Nigeria is the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s massive probe of your party’s CAMPAIGN FUNDS.

Nonetheless, the purpose of writing you this epistle is just to inform you that the Kaduna-Abuja Rail that you constructed and the train you bought (which WE called Locomotive product then) will be commissioned in few days' time by President Buhari for the use of Nigerian people.

Dear Ebele, history will be kind to you for being the only President Nigeria ever had that has no skyscraper anywhere on the world. While your predecessor, Olusegun Obasanjo and his deputy, Atiku Abubakar built private universities for themselves and their families, you built 12 and 6 public universities and polytechnics respectively for the use of Nigerians. Thousands of Nigerians got gainful employments through the aforementioned institutions.

The national minimum wage that you gave to Nigerians is now being taken away by those who took power from you. Prices of petrol, cooking gas and kerosene are no more within the reach of common people. Yam, pepper, onion, rice, beans, garri and even corn are gradually becoming the food of the ELITES in Nigeria.

The federal teaching hospitals that you built and upgraded are now at the mercy of no drugs. Medical personnel are now working without motivation. It’s strike everyday in the health sector.

The situation of power supply in Nigeria has gone from bad to poor. Massive jobs lost now pervade the organized private sector.

Entrepreneurs are now wailing as businesses drain down. The automobile motor plants that you facilitated to Nigeria are now returning back to where you brought them from. Sadly and most unfortunately, the media industry that connived with your opponents to send you out of office is still in conviviality with the ELITES to the detriment of the common people.

Dear Ebele, please note that you are not a saint but time and events have proved that majority of your critics are empty barrels. They are noisemakers. Time has showed that they are worse than you. The rights to speech and expression that we enjoyed under you have now moved from rights to privileges. As local and raw your wife Patience was, she never called a sitting governor a MAD DOG. Let me just stop here, sir.
