Enugu is overhyped... beautiful houses and good roads doesn't make a city developed Especially when it has nothing to offer its habitats why dont the owners of the beautiful houses live there? I would choose ibadan over Enugu any day. I can't wait to leave here.

Ayibaba1:
I have read many comments on this forum about how the present brouhaha between Federal Government and MTN will dissuade other investors from investing in Nigeria. I stand to say with all modesty that most of these guys making such comments are ignorant of how businesses and corporations are run in developed countries of the world.
What some companies do in Nigeria, they dare not do them in a well regulated countries where there are laws and regulations, codes etc. Nigeria is lawless and no wonder an operator operates with so much impunity. What MTN did in Nigeria, if it were to be America, or Europe, their license would have been revoked and very heavy charge smashed on them. Please let us learn to do things right, we can't continue to be of a 'country-of-anything-goes'.
Gbaam!

Instead of MTN to humbly pay up their fine, they instead decided to take the NCC to court without considering the possibility of something like this. Hehe grin now EFCC don dey open dia record; expect more from EFCC vs MTN.

You know most @ times, we look @ these corporations like they are foreign...na lie! They have Nigerian 'benefactors' who are so wicked that they dont mind anything anymore!!!

Next is DSTV...'owned' by some wicked bizmen in Nigeria that wont welcome anything that will break their monopoly...then Nigeria Breweries, when de look for how to destroy my Hero! God go catch all of them!

Akainzo:
Just for my education, Please what are his antecedents and what exactly was achieved under him by FRSC.

Please be kind to help me out.
You only know where you have gotten to (or where you are heading to & the distance you have covered) if you recall where you are coming from...

Get some lecture treats on leadership. Check what FRSC (& even NSCDC) was like pre-2007! Recall the driving culture pre-2007! Then google 'Chidoka's achievements in FRSC'...then (if you have a dictionary) check for the meaning of 'antecedent'...

Your time starts now!
Politics › Re: What Nigerians Are Saying About Osita Chidoka & The Vacant Senate Seat by AngryNigerian(m): 8:43am On Jan 12, 2016
Akainzo:
Bros, not sure if what you are alluding to is correct, and should be termed as achievements. Well, to me, he was a failure.

a) Instilled discipline: Like Really? The FRSC that was as corrupt as anything. One could even get a fake Driver's license right at the FRSC office.
b) Computerised the System: Payment of fines by ATM is NOT a computerisation of FRSC system. The receipt was still being written by hand!
c) Driver re-orientation: Bros, make we just leave this out. At what park? Seat-belts advocacy has been a core delivery of FRSC since inception.
d) Emergencies Equipment in Vehicles: I agree he did a lot of sensitization of this main requirement, it however ended up being a means to raise business for colleagues as FRSC was even trying to say which kits motorists should buy.
e) Plate Number Change: The biggest scam of the last administration, second only to the Job scam. enough said.

So for me, I am not sure his antecedents sets him apart from the normal pack of people that underwhelm in office.
My brother, many are corrupt (even Chidoka) but he is far less...but most importantly, he is articulate & a smart leader!

...& pls what is the meaning of this in disciplinary climes..."and 62 officers (mostly of the rank of Majors-below) were to be given Letters of Displeasure and to appear before their respective General Officers Commanding for counseling.”huh

Displeasure kò, Counselling ni!!!
