Divinedxtrovert: Oh. Why did you pick a college? As long as the school offers the course the child has strong interest in, the applicant is okay to go for a college. I have seen a 17yr old, finished waec, applied for an advanced diploma in St Claire college and was approved. Though his elder sis is in canada already. |

Funding came with 16,500cad Tuition waiver - I was going to pay only 4,500 cad Other documents. Refusal based on personal assets and financial status. Of course you will be denied for finance with that profile. An MBS of 150k balance is not sufficient at all. having a tuition waiver or funding does not mean you wont have need of living expenses. Kindly include your own bank statement housing $10,000cad or more living expense. |

Timm89: I also aattached a notarised document staying thet he made the transfer and the he was committed to further assisting me through out my stay...is that same as a gift deed? I dont think so. Well i feel you just go to a court and stamp the document. Una too like notarizing docs. Well, order for your notes, the VO might have a different issue different from the one we are even trying to tackle. |

Timm89: Yes, I attached the transfer reciept. For receiving money from your father, the document to attach is a gift deed as a sign of his commitment or support. A receipt, is issued as evidence of payment for a service or an item. So, if you called it a receipt on your SOP, most of these Canadian visa officers won't interpret it as what you meant on your SOP. |

mrprolifik: You can find the answer to your question by clicking on the link below. Post graduate work permit can only be extended only if at the time of getting your PGWP your passport had some few months left to expire and since you can't be issued a pgwp longer than your passport expiry date , in such a case either you would be told by IRCC to submit a new passport to get your full lenght pgwp or you would be given a pgwp to last you till your passport expires . Then after bringing a new passport your PGWP would be extended to cover the remaining months or years left for your full PGWP.
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/study-permits/post-graduation-work-permit-program/permit.html Okay.. Lemme explain further.. She went to canada for a 2yrs course and was ought to be given a 3yrs pgwp but because her passport was to expire before the 3yrs, they gave her 2yrs. Now she has renewed her passport and wants to apply for a pgwp extension. My query is, isnt pgwp extension applied online and not paper. |

I have someone that wants to apply for a PGWP extension. She sees on Canada.ca link that one can only apply for an extension in person that is Paper and not online. How true is this please. |

makano: Hello Anon
A BAN is liken to a refusal, we can liken it to a great-grandfather of a refusal..
So any school should refund the tuition fees back with the exception of an Administrative fee.. The refund policy of most schools is that the only reason for a refund is when an applicant is refused visa i.e. when an applicant's study permit application isn't approved...
So a BAN is a senior refusal, so the applicant should be refunded in any school, not just Algonquin..
Peace Thanks for the correction |

DemmyDD: Pls what the chances of getting other countries visa if IRCC issue 5years ban on someone? I have someone at d edge of issuing ban for bank statement fraudulent.
Secondly, should he defer semester to April since he hasn’t heard from IRCC or he should just request for the tuition fee paid. Thanks If he is about to receive a ban, he should jejely withdraw the application but if he has been issued a procedural fairness letter, a decision has been made, whixh is the ban. Theres only one school I know that refund tuition fee paid if an applicant was banned. The name is Algonquin college, as per others I dont know. If you wish a refund, he will need to issue a reason for the refund. He can process Poland or Ireland. Not so sure about UK but I believe its possible |

Ruby22: Hello everyone, Big Congrats to all pprs.
Pls the gurus in the house, @ketima, @makano, @frankrobbn and others i can't remember.
I would like advice on my proposed course of study. I have a Bsc Civil Engr.(2.1) with about 9years work experience as a civil engr both design and onsite. I applied for masters(Meng) in Civil Engineering at some universities in Canada since November/December but I have not heard back from them. I have recently got admission for a graduate certificate in Project Management in a Canadian College. I would like advice on if opting for a graduate certificate in Project Management, rather than masters civil eng, will be favorable when applying for study visa. The long wait for a not guaranteed admission is the issue with masters. Have you reached out to the schools international admissions. If not, do so. There is no guarantees as it comes to visa approvals either as a masters applicant or a PGD. Approval is dependent on your documentation packaging, convincing sop and financial availability (avoid lump sums). Therefore nobody can authoritatively give you an answer to your question. |

Nowa001: Hello everyone
I’ve been a silent reader on this forum for months now. I submitted my study permit application since May last year and I’ve been waiting on IRCC for a reply since and i just got a message from them today.
So it turned out i got procedural fairness letter this morning and i was told I submitted a fraudulent statement of account. I used my mum’s account statement which had over thirty nine million as in flow and forty one million as out follow but had a balance of three million because she had just recently purchased goods at the time. During when i wanted to submit the application, NYSC had just posted me and i needed to go to camp so my friend connected me with an agent who i sent all my documents to and paid him to help me submit the application because I didn’t want to wait till after camp before submitting so that my processing time would start counting. While in camp i was having network issues so I really couldn’t use my phone, when i was finally out of camp i saw messages from the agent telling me he had submitted but he had to improvise because my balance was low. I called him immediately and he said he edited the bank statement and increased the balance, i was really furious because i had seen on this platform people’s visa being approved with less balance, but the deed had already been done all i could do was cut ties with the agent after that.
Now i have 15 days to reply IRCC with a new statement of account and also I’m to attach a letter of explanation explaining the falsified document, please gurus in the house I’ll need help in writing the LOE and also I will appreciate any advice from the house on how to go about this The bolded is enough to have that agent locked up. He improvised without your consent. JESUS!. Lemme be honest with you, you might be banned as long as the agent is not registered or known to IRCC. I will advise you send the exact same bank statement, attach a reference letter from the bank and an LOE(LETTER OF EXPLANATION) AND NYSC APPOINTMENT LETTER. On this letter, ENSURE YOU TRY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED AND TRY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO BUTTRESS THE ASPECT OF POOR NETWORK WHICH RESULTED IN YOUR LACK OF COMMUNICATION WITH THE AGENT AS AT WHEN YOU WERE IN CAMP. The visa officer might argue that you have no reason to outsource your visa submission to a third party. You can correct that by saying you were a novice as at that time which was why you employed the services of someone to assist you and agreed to have the application reviewed by YOU before its submitted. BEG AND PLEAD WHILE DOING ALL THIS |
