Not including your bank statement in addition to saying you were currently on unpaid internship makes your application difficult. A VO needs to see that funds are readily available to you therefore, you have to include your own bank statement. Also, you will need to show you have a chance of returning home after studies which means saying you are applying as an unpaid intern won't cut it.

This is what I feel you should do, include your new employment docs. Try to use the need for the course to convibce the vo that eevn though you are still a startr in the labour market, but you have ideas or plans for the futur which the course would guarantee yiu its possibility. Have your dad transfer your living expenses to you(attach a gift deed).

Did you include your own bank statement.

You shouldnt have said you are unemployed, that is enough reason to deny you. Being unemployed means to the VO, you are
1) using this avenue to japa without return,
2)your employment situation does not support the funds that may have been in your account(if you submitted your own bank statement)
3) finally your employment situation proves that you do not intend on returning after graduation and as you dont have strong ties linking you to country asides family.

Therefore when reapplying ensure you mention you are currently employed and include all relevant employment docs to prove this.

Please note that you will also need to explain the study gap from 2003 waec till now which is the reason for my submission.

Hello everyone, thanks for keeping this thread alive. I just got admission for 2 year diploma information technology and I’m about applying for study permit. I am confused about two things.

First what to put in the funds available for my stay, first I have no money in my account � I will be using both their bank statement. it’s my mom and my uncle sponsoring me and I’ll be living with my uncle during this period. I don’t know what to put there and it seems I can’t leave it blank.

The second one is the part of the form where it says fill in post secondary school. I finished my final exams from oau last year December. My final results aren’t out yet. And I don’t know when it’s going to be released. Should I leave the spot blank My WAEC is since 2013 I hope this doesn’t affect my application.

I will advise you calm down, get your results out and finish NYSC as you will be required to show proof you have graduated from the university. Furthermore, why are you going for a diploma and not maybe a PGD or masters.

1) You are required include your own bank statement. Therefore you uncle can transfer your living expense of &10,000cad into your account while your mom can have your tuition fee in hers. Also know that doing this, you will need a gift deed from your uncle and letter of sponsorships from your uncle and mom. You can also mention your uncle will be accommodating you.

2) Leaving it blank gives the VO the idea you have not graduated. You waec wont affect you.

If you do that, you are logically expected to show proof you have been employed in that organization with your resumption being when yiu return. That is to say, the organisation has to put in on paper.

Otherwise, don't mention it because anybody can claim he or she will return to work for so so

1) She actually did work in the bank from 2011 to 2014 but truly she stopped to have kids. As the bank job was contract based with Diamond bank then. Can i present evidence of bank job. But then what best way can i explain the gap in work experience (she was doing business all this while)


2) The money my brother sent is in my dollar account and not hers. As i will be standing as the sponsor as her husband. Must i put it in her account? or continue with mine??

1) The evidence of employment required is her present job role. What you will have to do is work on getting employment docs that shows is currently either employed or self-employed (business CAC).

2) It is important she includes her own bank statement. You can transfer money to her (at least $10,000cad living expenses) and include a gift deed from you.

We agreed to have kids and later she will continue with education which is now. She has OND in Accounting and the course at Norquest is Business Administration with majors in Accounting. What's our chances at PPR?

2) My younger brother in the US wants to support us with 10 million to add to what we have. I see from here that we need a gift deed to prove the fund source. How do we go about with that?

1) One of the many requirements to meet if you are to be granted a visa approval is proof of work experience in the intended course. She is also expected to include proof of current employment status like employment letter etc. Therefore she has to have these otherwise she will be denied based on purpose of visit- Emoployment history/situation. This only increase your chance but nobody here can guarantee you success

2) Google can give you clues on how to draft but ensure he includes the amount, date it was sent(as it reflex on her bank statement) and why he is sponsoring her with such amount. Have it stamped at a court as well.

Paying a deposit, half or full does not guarantee a visa approval but ensure your fees are refundable in the event of a denial.

Yes, the letter of acceptance or Admission letter is required. You are expected to make that payment otherwise your admission will be revoked even if you have been issued an admission. IRCC will definitely contact your school to inquire about your admission status.
