Good Morning All
I graduated secondary school in July 2019
I gained admission immediately to one of the best universities in nigeria without help or connection
I'm currently in my second year studying mechanical engineering but truth be told... I'm tired and I've lost faith in the nigerian tertiary education system... fraud everywhere
I'm currently considering dropping out then starting all over abroad preferably Canada or USA
I'm still under 20 so age is still on my side

Gift deed is used as proof or source of lump sums and not as POF. The relative is expected to actually make that transfer to you.

I will advise the relative transfers now and you leave the amount to fallow in your account for a period of 4-5months, then you print.

The offer letter does not have the total tuition. I did a mail to the school and below is their response

Fees for the 2022-2023 academic year will not be finalized until after May 15, 2022.



and below is what i have on the offer letter

Actually you can. Depending on the school. I got a student number right after applying. Got my admission 1month after. And that is still my student number. In fact application confirmation email called it STUDENT IDENTIFICATION NUMBER.

But having this, by no means is a sign of getting admitted.

Funds available for your stay is the total balance of all accounts you are using to applying including your sponsors if you using one. Convert to CAD. Mind you, any amount you give isnt a big deal as Ircc have their own rate whixh nobody knows

You can not get a student number without an actual admission letter.

I have worked with different companies but my current job is just 4 months now with a financial institution. Can I apply for my study permit with a post graduate diploma offer in accounting given my IT background?
Also, can the 4 months of work experience in the current company be a problem if I apply this month?

How can u link the bolded together. Why didnt you go for an IT program.

4months isnt enough justification to seek further studies but including your work experience during NYSC and industrial training can add an edge

Will a delay in capturing my biometrics cause a significant delay in getting a study permit decision from the Canadian embassy.

I submitted my study permit application on the 28th of January and I booked a biometric Monday this week in Stockholm. Unfortunately, a few minutes before I arrived at the venue, I got a call from the officer in the office.
The babe said they were told to close the office till further notice.
All their staff catch COvi19, including herself.

Which kind wahala b this. Had to turn back.

I am waiting for when they will resume again.

I believe you are given 90 or 30days to have it done. You might have to wait or visit another biometrics center.

Your application will be paused till the biometrics is done

However a friend, whose we both got the same offer, recently changed to PSW (Personal Support Worker), and advices me to do same as this is more suitable for easier post graduate work permit and offers more potential job opportunities. I was considering doing this change until another friend advised me not to, as I shouldn’t pay such huge amount on such a course (PSW) . What do you advice please? Is PSW a good program and do you advice I change from IBM to PSW?

Bro, you will be denied based on purpose of visit. I will advise your pursue a pgd in a course related to your work interest.

Do not use the data page of the lost passport reason because the passport number on the lost one will be different from the number on the new.

This will cause you a problem when you want to do your biometrics, medicals or have your passport stamped as you will need the passport physically when doing either of these.

Get a new one and apply to avoid HAD I KNOWN

Your wife can be your co-sponsor. Since you have a letter of sponsorship, you will not need an affidavit. They are both one and the same

Google can get you colleges like Lambton, conestoga etc.

Go on each school and check out the duration of the course you are interested in.

By applying with your waec, am guessing you are applying for a diploma.

I would recommend you apply for an advanced diploma if you can get your transcript and statement of result/certificate.

But if you can't then go for a diploma.

You will have to explain what you were doing after acquiring yiyr Olevel.

There is no visa guarantees specific to any college or university or even course. Your visa chances rests on your ability to produce a convincing SOP and documentation.

No, you can not go for a masters with an HND as you will not meet the admission requirements.

The best bet is either an Advanced diploma or PGD at colleges (google can solve this ) in a course related to your work experience.

IELTS is optional

WES is optional but do not send any of your financial documents to WES

having a tuition waiver or funding does not mean you wont have need of living expenses. Kindly include your own bank statement housing $10,000cad or more living expense.
