Which bank card did you use and what time of the day did you submit? The maximum amount allowed in a nigerian debit card is $100US therefore thats why it is declining, if you have someone TRUSTWORTHY with a dollar card or anyone (TRUSTWORTHY) in canada, you can reach out to them. I can pay for you in CAD but i sell at 480naira to $1cad |

And
Post graduate offer from Douglas College, Financial Analysis, British Columbia.
I need your help.
I reside in Europe for the last five years and I will be making my application in Sweden. Which police report should I use for the application?. Nigeria or Sweden.
How can I prove my tie to Nigeria. I have landed properties, of cause my siblings birth certificates. What else?.
@justwise If you have a legal permit being in sweden, the police certificate should be from there though police certificate is not mandatory. Ties to nigeria should be family, properties and businesses. |

Sheyman56: Please, I would like to know the documents required of a cousin who wants to stand as a co- sponsor with my dad. He's into different businesses. Also, what are the things to do to prove he's really sponsoring my education in Canada without paying tuition fee for now?
Please, I need an urgent response. Thanks. You cousin should give you his bank statement, affidavit of sponsorship, birth certificate or international passport, cac of businesses, receipts to prove source of funds in his account to avoid lump sum issues You cousin must show commitment towards his intentions of sponsoring you either by paying part of your tuition and making it known on the affidavit of sponsorship or sending at least your living expense $10,000cad or less into your own account. Either ways, it should be mentioned on his affidavit of support and your SOP. |

Zubbyk: Good afternoon & Happy new year house I applied for a study permit on the 30th of September 2021 but sadly my application was denied. The reason for my rejection was based on financial status and and personal assets. My mother was my sponsor and we provided over 30 million naira as proof of funds and also my dads C of O. Please can the gurus and members of the house assist me in moving forward from my current situation. All efforts are appreciated. Sorry about your denial. Did you include your own bank statement? Were there lumps sums in the account and if yes, did you include source of these lump sums like sales receipts or gift deeds etc |

Perfectyyyyyy: Good day All,
I was having an argument with someone today whom who claimed that IRCC response to application sent via the portal faster than those sent via the old portal. How true is this? No proof and i wont take it serious cos thats the same noise that was made when you apply via NSE or with MBS.. Few weeks later, its still the same thing as the old portal/method |

DamilareOla: Why do IRCC request that the Bank statement be resent really??
Just curious. Maybe the one sent was not visible enough. Did you get that. Seems the guy handling lagos ircc email is high on weed. Nigga actually sent a mail to some one saying thus "Kindly resend the First bank Statement account now". Then he sent to another to send a clear PDF copies of the First bank statement he applied with meanwhile this applicant didnt use First bank at all but rather FCMB-First City Monument Bank. |

chibjohn: Hello guys,
I am new here and has been reading the thread but need to ask a question that is bordering me.
I want to apply for an Msc in Canada this year 2022. Last year I requested for a student copy of my transcript and noticed that the date of birth on it is wrong and different from the one on my other documents. The day and month is correct, the discrepancy is in the year. I need to visit my school physically to see if the error can be corrected but my work hasn’t given me the time to. I want to know if that can affect my application in anyway. Please I need responses from the experts here. An affidavit of age that tallies with your date of birth on your international passport can solve this. But still try reach out to your school to find out if they can rectify the issue otherwise an affidavit of age is your solution. |

I already know the price of the fees,I want to know how much I need to have in my account as proof of fund. Thank you The standard amount you are expected to show on your bank statement is at least your first year tuition fees and $10,000cad living expenses. Since you will be going with your husband and child, it means you will need to have more than the above on your statement. |

Which is why you can read through the thread and get the relevant information you may need. |

Iffylove: But not applicable now right? Because I applied together with my son, my study visa got approved over 2 weeks now, but my son's visit visa has not been approved. I planned travelling first week in January, so I read about people applying for travel restriction exemption before their visit visa got approved. So I don't know maybe that's the reason why my son's has not been t approved yet. Your son app will be approved as long as you both applied together that is you are the primary applicant while his is the secondary. You just need to keep disturbing them via mails stating the importance of why you can't leave your son behind to travel. |

nixymax: Season greetings to you all. Please I am new here.
I would like to know if I can use my uncle's bank statement as a proof of fund. Please note that we don't share the same surname.
Also, can I use a letter of approved student loan as a proof of fund?
Thank you. Your uncle should show commitment by either transferring your living expense to your account and attaching a gift deed or paying part of your tuition fees. You can use AN APPROVED STUDENT LOAN as proof of funds but you need to include your own bank statement for living expense. |

rahmeekadigz: Hello Everyone, I just got admission to study in canada and I want to apply for visa with my husband. How do I go about the SOP...please I need guidance...thank you and compliments of the season A standard SOP should cover these areas. 1) Introduction As an applicant it is good to introduce yourself, hobbies, skills and aspirations which guided you towards your academic/professional journey. 2) Why the course. In this section, you are to buttress more on the section 1 which aligns with your decision to choose the course you are going for. In addition, you are to talk about your work experience, professional certification (if any) how it relates to the intended course and its benefits to you, your company or nation. 3) why the school. Normal gist. Google can do this for you. 4)Finance Here you explain how much is readily available to you to cover your fees, living expense. Who your is and the relationship. Any lump sum in on the account, you explain those too with evidence/reason for the amount. Its important you do this, cos the Visa officer will assume you are just dumping money for the purpose of the application and not because its available. You are also expected to include your own bank statement housing your living expense at least. 5) Hometies As an applicant applying for a study permit(temporary residence) it is expected you have reasons to return to your home of residence after your allowed stay. Items like family, business, assets or work are valid reasons. 6) Plans after studies. As a graduate of so so course, what are your plans wit the course(realistic plans) with long long or short terms possibility of achieving. It Is also important you sound convincing on your SOP thats what increases your chances of an apprpval. NB: following this rule does not guarantee an approval as people have gotten approved with less than this. Therefore do what you can with this and leave the rest to God. |

Semtu: Hello guys, please I need clarification on the meaning of lump deposit. Is 500k a lump deposit?
My parents run a business where they collect cash from customers who make purchases. When the cash accumulates to 500k, they deposit into their account.
They are able to make this 500k deposit every three to four days, hence it appears regularly through their bank statements.
I have submitted my application but I didn’t provide any explanation. I want to just be sure whether this is also a lump sum deposit?
Lastly I heard lump sum deposit depends on ones monthly earning, that if the deposit amount is more than your monthly salary, it is a lump sum. My father earns around 350k from his full time job but it’s his account that shows these constant 500k deposits from business profit.
Please I need clarification In your case I will advise you attach immediately a payslip for the 350k and receipts for the 500k since they all appear on the statement. Attach these docs with a letter to explain what the docs are for |
