You will have to visit each facility and plead for a space hinting that your resumption is April and waiting till feburary for space will most definitely delay your app.

Meaning theres a possibility you may need to be forced to defer the admission.

Travel history is not a denial reason as perseon with a virgin passport also get approved BUT

Are you in resident in Nigeria?
if no, did you sure evidence of resident permit in the country you are in?

I just got a request for updated letter of acceptance. I am a September 4th applicant.

I know it is a very good sign, but how do I respond to this since I have already started the semester. I am still using the same letter of acceptance, as I did not defer.

Please, how did you guys respond to this? If I get my PPR, I'll definitely share more interesting story.

SIMPLE.. SAY THE TRUTH..

Tell them you have already started your classes online and as such the present admission letter is very much valid and active. You can include your enrollment letter as well as evidence to show truly you have started the classes ONLINE like timetable etc

All these third party sites and their delays.. Most times they dont send reminders to IRCC once your notes are due.. I regularly send once notes are due and that forces IRCC to release them. i received three persons i applied for in sept and one for October yesterday.

Mind you i used Atip(IRCC directly) and not gcmsnotes.com

Try using a MYBANKSTATEMENT CERTIFICATE in your reapplication FOR ALL or the sponsors while yours can be the normal statement.

finally, avoid lump sums. if any, attach evidence to cover where the lump sum came from and what it was for.

Please all, Kindly don't pay much attention to this kind of thing. The only one that can give you POF is yourself, Sponsor ( parents/siblings/ close 3rd party). Please never accept bank statements from strangers. you're likely adding yourself at least 5-year ban.

Note that anyone who is advertising for this isn't aiming for just one customer. the same POF that will be given to you will as well be given to another person.

Just for instance ( not saying is the case ooo) : There was an instance where two siblings used the same account statement for an application, One was initially accepted while the other was rejected. later the accepted one was rejected. I'm not saying that case could be only as a result of submitting the same POF, but imagine siblings getting rejected for cos of that, then put yourself and many more who will be submitting that "Maybe a fraudulent" POF to submit with your application.

So contact him or her at your own risk.

Further to this, being opportune to apply for notes for persons... i get the chance to read the VO's comments.

I have seen a note that the VO said in quote- "APPLICANT SEEM TO HAVE APPLIED WITH A SIMILAR DOCUMENTATION OF A DIFFERENT APPLICANT, THEREFORE I AM IN THE OPINION THAT THE APPLICANT USED EITHER AN UNLICENSED AGENT OR TRIED TO BE MISLEADING. APPLICANT IS REQUIRED TO EXPLAIN SOURCE OF DOCUMENTATION OTHERWISE HE WILL BE FOUND WANTING ON MISREPRESENTATION "

The applicant explained he used an agent who mistakenly applied with same documents he used for other persons including bank details. Let us be guided pls..

Deported from Uk
Criminal record (over 5years prison sentence )
Lump sum was used for application , all funds was deposited just 1 month before application

Wish people expecting ppr a positive outcome..

I have 3 guys that got banned for Canada though and in doubt of reapplying after their ban expires.

This is testament that even with the info sharing between countries, still this app was approved despite all odds(LUMP SUM, CRIMINALITY AND TRAVEL HISTORY)

Look for courses related to bolded.You stand a better chance with it. The customer service experience would also come in handy if you choose a course that has both skill sets required.

I applied to NSCC for a diploma in Business Administration, although I have had a study gap for 11 years due to work. I have a Bachelors degree in Economics with a 2:2, I have already paid a deposit of CAD1,000 to save my seat for September 2021 program but deferred to January 2022. I want to know if it's ok to go ahead with the SP application and I just saw on the platform that I should have filled out the IRCC Webform stating my deferment.

Is it best to withdraw and look for a PGD program or do I still have a chance to continue the application process as I have committed financially?

The bolded would have gotten you a denial based on purpose of visit. The study gap doesnt matter if you are able to show work experience within that 11yrs. Furthermore, a PGD would have been your best bet so please have your school change the course to a PGD progrm related to your work experience.

Almost all universities in Canada dont accept 2.2 as you may likely not meet the admission requirements for the intended course. Your best bet is a pgd. Although people have secured the admission with 2.2 but the chances is slim.

Securing funding with a 2.2 is another miracle with very slim chances of happening.

Again your best best is a PGD.

Good day,

This thread is for study visa meaning you are issued a study visa to study while also working. Also meaning no firm there sends you invitation to come and work.

But if you are looking on looking for a firm to issue you employment while in Nigeria, you will need to focus on Work visa but please be careful as agents forge documents claiming they have companies that will employ you.


If you are interested in migrating via study route, I will advise you take your time and read the thread and ask questions if any.

Tuition deposits for most school are refundable thought you will need to find out first. Conestoga college refunds their $1500cd tuition deposit.

You need your study permit to even apply fr her and other relevant documents which you will be given only when you get to canada.

This is not totally correct..

Nairobi is handles 90% of Nigerian applications and not all.. London also handles Nigeria applications...

ACCRA AND LAGOS use to handle Nigeria applications, before Nairobi and also London took over..

And also there is something like Primary and Secondary office. For you to know, pick up any GCMS notes, you will see a primary and Secondary office in the Note..
