The bolded should have stood as your own source of funds if you included your bank statement.

Just including it doesnt mean you are financially capable when theres no funds from your own side to prove it

Without paying your tuition or making a deposit, the VO is in doubt you are financially capable of paying your fees. Furthermore the VO is also in doubt you are capable of taking care of your living expenses since you do not have money readily available to you(Your own bank statement was not included)

You are expected to fill three forms and theres no way your app will submit if those three forms were not uploaded.

My response came as a result of the fact there was a system maintenance scheduled for today we all know what happens after such maintenance occurs.

2. And how can I prove my relationship with my sponsor in my application as it's a distance relative that is gonna act as my sponsor. Asides from mentioning it in my SOP?

1) Not compulsory
2) Ensure you do not mention this sponsor is married otherwise the VO will wonder how the sponsor would sponsor you, business and family.

You will need to explain your relationship with him, include photos of yourself and him, him and your own family, your parents affidavit confirming their relationship with the sponsor etc

There are no schools that offer full tuition of that amount but if you arw referring to tuition deposits, then that amoubt can cover for it. We can not recommend schools because I need to know if you are going for a masters program or pgd?

Im sponsoring myself with 32k which is on my bank statement. My brother is my co-sponsor with 12k. There is only provision to indicate one sponsor. If i indicate my self as self sponsor, should i put the total of mine and my brothers money or only my 32k.

Yes, indicate you are self sponsored. The total amount should be your balance and his own balance

Yes, I did prove my relationship with my sponsor in my SOP and backed it up with some docs. Though my admission came with a fully-funded tuition scholarship with a TAship from my department.

However, I didn't include my personal bank statement as at when I submitted my application because my sponsor's was handsome, and I also got another internal scholarship of $5k CAD from my faculty, whose document I sent to IRCC via a web form. I guess my inability to include my SOA led to the refusal.

Even if you are fully funded, you are expected to include your own bank statement.

I have been following up on this issue and all i can say is its unfortunate.

Th VOs probably decided to take this decision because the repayments resulted on a chargeback which gave them the impression you were intentional with your actions.

He recommended an Advanced diploma because of the HND. if you had a bsc, it would have been a PGD instead.

Please i have about 32k cad in my own account. My brother who stays in the USA is doing a letter of financial support for 10kusd which is about 12kcad. The statements of accounts which he sent is from Bank of America and both statements have about 72kusd. But the thing is the statements are joint accounts with his wife.

Pls will this be a problem.

Please go ahead and use only your own account.

Seeing the bolded will force the VO to deny you based on finance while neglecting you have 32kcad. To him, the 32kcad wont be available upon coming to canada which is why you included your brother's account.

Also seeing the Joint account is a red flag cos the VO will wonder how your brother will cater for his own family knowing fully well the expenses your canadian study dream will cost.
