The mail is simple, nothing major.

I applied for gcms note on (date) with tracking number($$$). Kindly have the notes sent to me.

Thegcmsonline is a third party site. Atip is the official IRCC SITE that you can use to apply for gcms notes.

Once you apply for a gcmsnote on ATIP, uou are issued a tracking number, this is sent to the designated representative. Since you used thegcmsonline, they are the only persons you can mail

@Anon, l don't really understand your second paragraph very well. l have 2.2 for undergraduate, do you suggest that l choose Graduate Certificate and with that, my chances of getting student visa is high?

What makes your chances of approval high is not just the level of program you choose. There are other factors which is why i mentioned documentation and your SOP.

On the school site, do you see ONTARIO GRADUATE CERTIFICATE ON THE SELECTED PROGRAM? IF YES, THATS A PGD.

With a 2.2, you are to go for a PGD and not an Advanced diploma.

What i do is to send mails daily, two times a day to atip..

It works for me and they always send 2-3days later. I use this and got 6notes sent at once.

NB: I apply for gcms notes on behalf of persons here.

I have never heard of the bolded and it is not TRUE.

1) There are not the same.

PGD is known as Ontario Graduate certificate... if you dont see that, it is not PGD while Advanced diploma is written as advanced diploma.

You can opt for an Advanced diploma if your didnt make a 2.1 or 2.2. Reason is if you go for it with either of the two, you will get admitted but your chances of a visa approval is LOW. You will most likely be denied based on purpose of visit.

2) Canadian study visa approval is not guaranteed. what we do here is to increase the chances of getting approved with documentation, how you sell yourself/Convince the VO and YOUR FAITH. Nobody here can guarantee/answer your question with certainty.

Gurus, l need your advice please.

l ve applied to Centennial College for advanced diploma in Environmental Technology using all the qualifications l have (l have bachelor, master and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering). Centennial is yet to make decision on my admission, l applied on Tuesday.

I am also planning to apply to a graduate certificate program in Business Information Technology in Seneca College and graduate certificate program in Project Management in Huber College using all my qualifications too. I am not interested in Canadian universities due to 1. my low undergraduate cgpa 2. I'm not really interested in any kind of degree, just looking for a means to reach Canada (kindly note that l decided not to try other means of reaching Canada because l don't have IELTS or other English tests and also because l believe student visa will be faster).

l ve applied to two Canadian schools in tthe past. One for graduate certificate (I used my bachelor degree for application) and the other for PhD (l used my master degree) and they both denied me admission which l suspected was because l have a low undergraduate cgpa of 3.01.

And to be honest now, l just want to leave this country at the earliest time possible (l ve tried so many things to survive which have all failed), although l understand the need to mask my desperation during visa interview(s).



My questions now are;

1. Is it actually advisable to use all my qualifications to apply to a graduate certificate, will it not affect my admission because l may be overqualified (I am simply doing so to make my candidacy more competive)? Kindly note the time gap of my qualifications; Bachelor gotten in 2007, master in 2016 and PhD in 2021.

2. Will it not affect me during visa interview(s) (although l intend to disclose to the visa officer of my bachelor degree only)?

3. If l disclose only my bachelor degree to the visa officer, can he/she discover my other qualifications from the school(s) l apply to?

I just read your post and these are my advise.

If your plan is to come to canada via study, you are mandated by the rules that govern your visa and permit to go to school and attend studies but considering your finance, you can get to canada and switch to a diploma course if you wish to but YOU MUST ATTEND CLASSES.

I will encourage you to stick to a program that relates to your strenghts /work experiences.

DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR MASTERS AND PHD CERTIFICATES IN YOUR VISA APP IF YOU WISH TO GO FOR A PGD.

WITH A 2.1, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR A MASTERS OR PGD BUT because OF FINANCE, YOU CAN OPT FOR A PGD AND NOT AN ADVANCED DIPLOMA.

Failure to adhere to these, YOU WILL BE DENIED BASED ON PURPOSE OF VISIT.

1) THE GAP WONT AFFECT YOU BUT AGAIN, IF ITS A PGD YOU WANT TO GO FOR, DO NOT MENTION YOUR MASTERS AND MOST ESPECIALLY YOUR PHD.
2) THERE IS NOT PHYSICAL VISA INTERVIEWS FOR CANADA. YOU DRAFT AN SOP(STATEMENT OF PURPOUSE) TO DECIDE YOUR REASONS

3) YOU WILL OBVIOUSLY DECLARE YOUR BSC BY INCLUDING YOUR BSC CERTIFICATE AND TRANSCRIPT.

Your purpose of visit is coming from your sop, choice of course and how it is related to your present job experience.

it could also be as a result of the level of program you chose to go for.

Travel history is not a denial reason and i can say that cos if you apply for your notes, the VO will not talk about it. Therefore you do not need to defend or travel to Ghana or cotonue for any reason.

Thanks for your response, I think that's contrary to what IRCC stipulates as family accompanies. I have actually heard of people in this category gotten their visas (study permit and SOWP) approved at the same time.

What you might do is to send mails notifying the office that your app has been approved and you expect your spouse app to be approved automatically. Include a screen shot of your approved application portal and the PPR.

Hello nairaland family, I just found out this forum. Please I have an urgent question.
I submitted my application with my wife (SOWP) application.
Program is fully funded PhD. I submitted NSE requirements (IELTS, and MBS), but my spouse didn't do IELTS .
But we submitted every other necessary documents (marriage certificate with photos, wife's academic certificates, proof of her works). Note that I showed financial capacity to take care of her.
My worries: My study permit has been approved yesterday, but her application is yet to be finalized, I thought both applications should be finalized at the same time?

Can anyone give me an idea why her application is yet to be finalized and how long can we be waiting (submission is 3 months now), I have sent emails to nairobi, but no response. Please, I need your contribution, I really want to travel with her...

Her application can not be approved because one of the many requirements for an SOWP is your stamped visa, study permit, work permit, enrollment letter and you cant get much of them while you are in nigeria.

I work in the business department of the organization as an ERP(Enterprise resource planning) consultant where I manage ERP for big organizations and businesses by assisting in resource planning and also ensuring that the company’s software runs as efficiently as possible.
I will like to apply for a postgraduate diploma in business management in any Canadian university or college.

1. Is it better to apply to a university or a college
2. I also need information on schools available for this course for September intake.

1) College- PGD aka Ontario College Graduate Certificate. If you try university, You have 40% chance of meeting the admission requirement with a 2.2
2) GOOGLE BOSS will do this for you.. Sept 2022 intake has not opened yet.. Try Conestoga, humber, seneca, fanshaw, NSCC, Lumbar etc

Ensure your familiarize yourself with their refund policy o.. Conestoga am sure refunds tuition fees or even deposit($1500CAD)

The procedural fairness letter drops before you are actually banned, therefore what did you do when you got the chargeback?

Please I just got admission into Fanshawe college Through my agent but the admission was so quick, not even up to a week cos i was expecting it to take up to 6 weeks so i can gather funds and now the school said I should pay complete first semester (9k) to secure a sit within 30 days or loose the admission. whaaaat!!!!! My program is sept 2022. isn't that too early or too fast? not even $1500 deposit. omo! has anyone experienced this? or should i just send 2k to them?

Please send a mail to the international admissions office with your own email aqsking them to verify the admission letter.

Include your full name, course, date of birth and student number... Thats the only way to verify...

The agent you used, is he/she representing the school. Also verify the name with the admission office.

There are two offices that handle visa stamping, lagos and abuja.. Maybe the lagos office is choked up therefore they sent yours to abuja

Hello all, so I sent my family's passports and required documents to VFS Abuja earlier in the week through DHL. VFS returned the package with an attached letter that we needed to pay transmission fee for one of my children who wasn't required to have biometrics because he was below the age so he neither had the biometrics slip nor bvl (note he's on study permit). I called VFS and they confirmed we needed to make payment for him and send the passports again with proof.
Please did any of us experience something like this?

If i were you, after calling them and they confirmed this, i would pay and have my visa in my hands..

THATS ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME O not the money involved.

Sorry to hear the news but did you submit a fake document.

If yes, first of, you shouldnt. You have to wait out the ban before you can reapply..

Your letter says you are inadmissible to canada for a period of 5yrs which means if you reapply, your app will not be processed until after the 5yr ban.

You might have to consider other countries.

All i will advise is choose a course related to your work experience for ease of convincing the VO on your SOP

Have the relevant amounts(sponsor and your own bank statement) made available and possible pay a part of your fees if you can.

Go through the thread for more information and am sure you will get an answer here if you have questions.

I haven't seen any update or heard from the IRCC since I passed medicals.

I also hadn't written them before nor ordered a note. Hence I do not know which visa office is handling my application.

What can I do to get a decision soon? We often say no two application is the same, but we’ve seen a lot of people get their PPR in record time , especially recent applications between August and September.

No offence but you are the one delaying that decision from being made and your PPR sent to you long ago.

PLEASE START SENDING MAILS AND WEBFORMS DAILY THREE TIMES A DAY TILL THE PPR DROPS.

Nigerian apps are always treated by KENYA, LAGOS AND MAYBE LONDON but thats not an issue cos you would have known which office is handling your app if you sent mails and webforms.
